PLEASE do a challenge where you have two or three different teams and each team builds a different section of the plane (Tail, Wings, fuselage/power, etc). None of the teams will know what the others section looks like until the ending when you try to put it together and fly. Set up a couple rules as far as general size and what not but overall try to make it weird and have fun!

I work on GA aircraft for a living. Mostly Cessna 152s, 172s, and Piper Senecas. Piper Senecas have a Left turning engine on the right wing. A left turning engine means that the starter has to turn to the right. It's the only model of aircraft we work on at my job that uses this starter. My co-worker had just replaced a starter on a 152, as part of a 100-hour inspection, I believe, but when he went to start the engine, it just wouldn't fire. I was working on a separate project at the time, but I happened to look that direction after the second or third attempt to start the plane. "Isn't the prop supposed to turn the other direction?!" He didn't believe me at first... but he quickly realized that he had put the wrong starter motor on. I still like to rag on him for that every once in a while.

The bone yard looks like a Fire Marshall's dream ticketing experience. It will get off the ground, according to your preview. It's possible that contraption may stay in the air with skilled piloting. :)

You have to stop hand launching up, if you launch nose up the aircraft will slow down and stall, you must launch slight nose down in relation to the horizon, that way the aircraft will gain speed, not a lot but gain, less chance of a stall. Aircraft with a high power to weight ratio can handle a nose up launch, but with negligible power to weight a nose down launch is advised. Still a lot of fun guys.

You gave me 2 ideas that you could try out. You mentioned it looked like a sailboat. Why not make a plane out of an RC sailboat where the main sail is the rudder? The ther idea was from trying to land in the trash can. Why not make very simple, disposable planes for the sole purpose of aerial lawn darts. Crash the planes from a vertical power dive and the person closest to a bullseye wins!

That noise from the ESC/motor was classic ripple current overloading the inlet caps in the ESC. shorten the wires between ESC's and battery, or add low ESR caps. you guys should know better by now. entertaining nonetheless.

Hilarious and fun. The flying chair is my favorite video still, but this is great. All the non-standard CG factors and control surface sizes made it a flying laboratory. Watching the adaptations was awesome. thanks!

You guys are so inspiring. It's because of you and others on youtube that I got my son and I two $20 quads, and we have had a blast. Then I bought a $30 quad and made it FPV, on the cheap, thanks to Fred at your store. That blast has now become a boom. I'm not quite done seeing where I can take this quad... Mods, baby, mods. But I can see where this is going. I want to fly. Stuff. I've watched so many of your videos where you just make stuff fly, that I want to do it. When I'm done quadding, I'm going to get some board, tear down my toy quads and just build stuff! That flys! I hope. I'm already mentally planning crazy stuff, once I learn how fly a plane. The journey not only continues, it just got a whole lot more releasing and interesting. I can't thank you enough.

Sure wish you guys would do some gasser/nitro videos for us old school flyers!!! I've had three nitro planes in my life, which equaled three total flights (you can use your imagination as to how each nitro flight ended)!!!! Now I keep my RC's firmly on the ground (electric short course trucks, and speed runs cars) Electric is AWESOME, But nothing tops the sound of a gasser/nitro plane, call me nostalgic!!! Love y'alls videos keep up the content, just wish y'all would pay a little homage to the old school!!!! Lol!!!!
