Thank you Ryan for your amazing videos! You have inspired me to take my first bike packing trip at the Virginia Creeper trail. Solo at that. I ended up getting lost. Didn't make it to my campsite. Ran out of water. Ended the day in a hotel. Over 60 miles in one day lol ! Out of all the grueling moments I loved the life changing experience and would do it again. Keep making these videos as long as you can. You are helping the world. One person at a time : )

We are TOTALLY struggling with our tubeless set up.... the valves clog up... we keep the tires spun, valves up we ride often and STILL have to disassemble the valves and clean them every time... frustrating

I replayed that part where Viking only said one or two of the mantras. And I was like oh boy, let see what happens later in the video. And sure enough a crashy and a flatty 🤦🏻‍♂️. Hope he learns the lesson 🤷🏻‍♂️😁

ahh last episode already! Thanks for sharing! Hatch green chiles MMMMMM! When I rode across the USA I would jump fully clothed into bodies of water, it would keep you nice and cool for a bit in the 100 plus degree weather of the east coast and mid west. Lycra works great when its wet to cool you off. I like that big adventure shirt you have with the pee wee bike(well an ungraded version of pee wee's bike)! When I show people my bike they say that some times!

:D It's absolute fun to see this journey. Watching along you two is serious fun lol! It's been a little different roads than usual, usually all gravel, but I remember a lot of asfalt in this one and than stretches of gravel roads, but watching some back, and yeah it is mostly gravel and a serious fun ride. So is interesting! Thank you so much for taking us along!

I think your goats head prickles are the same as we have here west of where I live. We were off to a camp site we had never visited and I got out of the car to check my map and my shoes soles were covered in them. Pesky things! If never seen them before that day. This was a fun series! I enjoyed it a lot! Now it’s 4pm here in North Queensland Australia & it’s cooled down a bit, I’m going for my arvo bike ride. Trying to get fit enough to go on my first bike packing trip. And thank you for being so positive and inspiring in your vids ☺️

The best day riding in El Paso was when I made the switch to tubeless. Those goat-heads are EVERYWHERE. I could go 10-12 months without a flat, but then I would go the next five rides with 4 flats. Insanely frustrating.

Best travel tip to New Mexico is there is bus connections for bikes from Denver - Boulder. That there is an alt to the North-South GDMR is another. Fantastic series well done for the duo!

Thank you, Ryan, for another wonderful series to watch. That was very enjoyable. I live vicariously through you. I am 72 years old and have mild Alzheimer's so my wife won't let me go on a bikepacking adventure on my own. If I try she will call my doctor and have me committed to a medical facility. I am very forgetful but I don't get lost so I don't agree with my wife but I can't do anything about it. Thanks to you I can still experience the joy of bikepacking through your videos.

Following you on the 'Tour Devide Tracker live'.. I really loved the connection the two of you had. Jabba is a fun guy and now I know how crazy this part of the world can be as far as weather conditions concerned.. I think you currently having a tough time with the conditions in Canada. It is amazing how plants can go traveling. Those goat heads hitched a ride on your tires. Now there will be baby goat heads all along where you traveled as they jumped off along the way. Nature is amazing.

Mr. Van Duzer, right now the US is deciding whether or not DJI should be banned from FCC airwaves, banning all future sales and potentially grounding all existing DJI drones. Obviously, you'd be affected, how would you adapt if they grounded your drone?
