We Made It to the Finals! Peak Street Car Shoot Out Day 2 & 3

What an awesome time! We started off this video with the first round of eliminations for the Peak Street Car Shoot Out and drew a bye run. I also got to stop by and talk with Brian Lohnes about our event and the cars for NHRA Fox on FS1!
Sunday we moved onto the semi finals where I had to race Nick
(‪@nickkybobbyinc‬) of all people! We both made good passes, but Nick red lit (not on purpose) and I drove around him on the top end. Dave Schroeder ran against Bryant Goldstone for the semis and Dave was able to pull off the win in his nitrous C7 Corvette. Dave and I moved onto the finals and what a drag we had! We were super happy for the Schroeder Ens Team to get the win and be the champs!

Pushing the box down track to a 6.76 and 217 the car keeps getting better and better. It seems like it took the chassis adjustments too. Team Taylor a class act all the way. Thanks for letting us be a part of your experience.

It's so cool to see the '55 lined up with Dave's Corvette!! As a jail Chaplain, I am so impressed with your channel and your father. He has never (on video - I'm been watching since your first Drag Week) and I have never heard a "f" bomb. So, so refreshing. And to film your quick prayer before your race was a beautiful. God is good, great video

I have been following Drag n Drive since the first Drag Week. Alex and Dennis, Nick, and company I always follow you all. I have met you at the Woodward Nights. I hope Steve Morris can get his wagon back together and join the fray. I wish NHRA would make this a full time class. It makes so much sense and is so diverse. Keep on keepin' on!

Great video. Thanks you so much. I really needed this to brighten my day. The storms that blew through Houston last Thursday knocked out the power to almost 1,000,000 homes, us included. No power, no internet, no email, no nothing. We got it back yesterday evening (Sunday) so I have been catching up on everything involving the Taylors.

I am sure that at times, giving away any chance for an aerodynamic advantage in favor of the body shape selected is questioned when such streamlined car is in the next lane. I am glad it is kind of all for fun, and appreciate the insight I have gained by being able to tag along via RU-vid.
