We just had broccoli, bacon, and cheese potatoes with corn on the cob and country ribs. I used Apple Barn Apple butter to marinate the ribs in. So yummy!
My wife and I camped there at the KOA last week. It was our first time in Cherokee and the NC side of the Smokies. We absolutely loved it. Especially getting to see the elf every evening at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center.
Love the Cherokee area. My wife & I loved watching Winston run around the dog park - Laughing smiles on both our faces 🙂 You should start a Winston Forever channel 🙂
We visited this KOA probably 5 years ago while we were in the area on a day trip..it was a great facility then. We hope to take our great nephew camping in the near future, and this location is on the top of our list.

I'm very thankful for our Creator who gave us our very lives. I'm thankful for the history our Fore Fathers brought forth on this continent. Even further when the Puritans first landed on Plymouth Rock. The Pilgrims. We have a great Country established on two Documents that it is most certainly that we must uphold to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. I'm thankful for the men and women who every day fight for our freedoms. I'm thankful for Winston and all of the other doggies, kitty's, and all the other animals. I think Winston is so adorable. We just went to Cherokee today and seen “Unto These Hills” outdoor drama. I highly recommend seeing this! It was our 41st anniversary. Please show us some places to eat in Cherokee.

We drove past that place in December on our way from Bryson City to Gatlinburg and then home. Looks like a nice facility. We typically book our campsite a year in advance at Pigeon Forge KOA and I wanted a nice spot for this year so we just paid on it all year long. Looking forward to getting there in a couple of weeks.

Ive been watching so long but having had and lost two Pugs I always enjoy seeing Big T and Now Winston. I live near Waynesville NC and love this whole area. Keep up the great videos and stay safe and Im going to get some Baconup and try the smashed Baked Potato .as far as your wonderful blessing on the Country I hope for the same thing, peace and freedom and I hope we all can come togeather and stop the hate and spread love and peace.
Cherokee KOA campground looks so nice. Winston is having so much fun running around, he is so cute! Those smash potatoes looked yummy. That light pole is awesome, like how it folds down. Quick question, does all your chairs,grille,table etc fit in the back of the Travato? Just curious since many class B's don't have exterior storage. We were looking at some online. Love your van,and we are still hoping to get something similar once hubby retires ...leaning towards a class b. Loved this video,counting our days until we get back out there in mid August! I'm a veteran myself in retirement raising my hand an swearing an oath to our flag an constitution is my proudest achievement of freedom that I embrace. I hate to see the state that we are in now with the division it's not what I fought for an it certainly isn't what my buddies died for. I pray that there is a resolve of this downward spiral we are in. Thanks Cherokee is one of my favorite places been there many times.

However, I also appreciate an hope that others who are different than me, also have freedoms to be who they are, within the bounds of what does not impinge on another's rights. We are in an interesting time of discernment in this country. Will we continue to be the world's greatest democracy? The World is watching and worrying about who we are.

Look forward to watching! I had 2 fawns. Bubbies, 2006- 2019 Best friend in the whole wide world, i miss him so very much. Then Joey, he was a rescue, he was 10 when we got him in 2017. We had him for 4 years...we gave him 4 incredible years. We now have a black pug, Walter, 4 1/2 years, & a white Pug, Nora 1 1/2 years. Pugs are awesome. My son also has a Pug Leo, (fawn) same age as Walter, the He Had Winston, we all called him Winnie, 15, he passed a few months ago😢. So, looking forward to watching!!

Bacon Up? I have never heard of that. Is this something you find in the meat case or the dairy area? It's refrigerated I guess? I live in Middle Tennessee and originally from Indiana. Would love to try it.
We do have freedoms. We live better than Kings and Queens of 300 years ago, but... We fought King George for far less than what Gov is doing to us now, especially in CA. That is why so many are goin thataway. Everybody caint be a Gov employee, and expect reg folk to pay for their Lush life. Simple as that.
