That's a piece of art. Beautiful. Never seen anything like that before. I have seen and played on some amazing chess sets but that taffywaffy is something else. Real craftsmanship.

Fantastic woodworking skills. As a piece of art / sculpture it is brilliant, and you can use it too. Beer beaker is great. Edo a woodworking masterpiece.

I play Hnefatafl occasionally and have a, what I would consider to be, fairly expensive set for what you get (you do get a fancy box to put it in tho ??) but it’s no where near as nice as that. Those pieces are classy. Well done buddy, exceptional work.

That's a really nice thing for him to do I think there is a fair few hours of work and craftsmanship gone into that it would be really good if the two of you did catch up one day for a days detecting followed by a few beers and a game on the board

I checked the game , very cool , and easy to understand how to play . Going to check any app to play on the phone . Simple rules (at least i think so ) , the defenders side looks more easy .
