Judging from how much of a pain loading the logs seems to be, I would probably suggest going for a proper timber trailer fairly soon. Preferably one with a crane on it.
Love seeing you guys work together on the tasks! Was wondering, is there a modlist for this? I am interested in trying for myself. Also, as a Canadian I would love to see some Versatile tractors on this series sometime, though they're probably a bit out of reach both in cost and size for now.
You pair would be better off binning the small tractors , put brackets on the bigger and loading big only on the big trailer and use a small trailer for the tops
All those rocks at the back of the cleared area had kinda got me thinking about mineral and gold processing. Not like the last map but from scratch to see how that mechanic works. Not as a get rich quick scheme just to see what it produces. We've seen forestry, arable etc etc so why not this?
New plot would have been better than new tractor at this time. Its a nice tractor though, however the silage from the next plot would have yielded over 100 grand at its lowest price which would have gotten you your tractor plus almost enough (1 trailer load of wood) to then get yet another plot. So much land to prep would allow you to have some variety and leave the logging alone for a bit and also get more silage for either animals (or make hay/grass bales) or sell silage for more money for bigger equipment. Also more fields planted ready to have a big crop payday in the later year. I have soybeans all growing now (Feb Year 2) on 5 plots. I am hoping to get a total yield of 200-300k liters for a mega payday to finally get a nice beefcake tractor (Planning on the Fendt 1000 max engine at 517HP) and some animals. Maybe also buy some of the silty clay plots to prepare for animal pens and productions.
