moved into my place in September of 2021, and I immediately developed breathing issues . I now have asthma and smokers lung since staying here. Mold is everywhere and nothing is being done. Bless y’all for your positive energy! I truly believe There’s light at the end of the tunnel after watching this!

I love the positive attitude that you both have through this hard time. I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere but most homes have renters or home owners insurance that will cover hotel expenses while out of the house. Y’all are amazing.

I know you’re stressed but I’m so glad you guys have money to be able to get a place bc this happened to us and my mom and I had to sleep in our car for 2 weeks I’m not kidding bc of mold and the landlord would NOT pay for us to get a hotel, we just didn’t have the money to get a hotel at that time bc we had just moved!! It was bad and our dog and cat as well , So thank God u are able to get a nice little place till then!! God Bless!!

Isn't that wonderful how a marriage works. You both pick one another up and encourage each other. Maybe in different situations one or the other does it. But it's great that you do and are growing and learning how to. Life does throw us challenges but it's how you get through it. What's your mind set? It can be difficult but I'm glad you guys have each other to help you get through this and God of course ♡
I had rented a place and had to leave shortly after moving in for work. When I got back mold was growing in my things. I had the place inspected. I was advised to leave and he wasn’t helpful with notifying the landlord. It became a struggle to get it dealt with properly. So I had to quickly find a new place. When I moved out that’s when I got extremely sick from those conditions and so did my pet. My pet was horribly affected and died. It was beyond tragic and feel like no one really knew about the affect that mold can have on you. So it’s good that you got out quickly for your own health!

Glad you guys are out of the situation and staying healthy. Mold is no joke. I had a really bad mold experience in my first apartment by myself. I was living there for about 4 months before I started noticing mold. I found spots in my cabinet where I kept my pans stored. Then the next day I noticed some mold on a pair of my shoes (at the time I owned probably 100 pairs of shoes so I didn’t have enough time to wear all of them in 4 months to notice the mold growing in them) 🤦🏻♀️ .. the day I seen the mold in my shoes, I called out of work and I ripped apart the whole house and I discovered mold EVERYWHERE! I threw away 38 pairs of my shoes & no company was able to save my furniture. I had to throw all of my furniture away and EVERYTHING in my kitchen because everything started growing mold in every crack & crease. in every crack and under everything. In the 4 months time frame, I found mold growing under my bed on the wood & on my boxspring (it literally looked like icicles of mold).. it was inside of every cabinet and closet in the house. I pretty much lost everything I owned and bought by myself for my first apartment 🤦🏻♀️ it was the worse experience of my life. And to top it off, before I discovered the mold, I had a really bad cough and congestion which I assumed was part of my allergies because I get extremely bad seasonal allergies.. well after I found the mold I went to get checked at an urgent care and my body had been trying to fight off a severe upper respiratory infection the whole time (which was from the mold)!! imagine finding out you’ve been sleeping on a mold infested bed and lounging on a mold infested couch and just breathing that in all that time. I truly fear mold now. So glad you guys got out and it’s being taken care of because it does spread super fast.
