Congrats on being back home!! As long as the couch is comfortable and is the staple piece you can make it work. I would suggest getting the table in and to add colour/brightness think of the accent pieces you can add in from the artwork/pillows/throws/table decor. You can still keep it minimal and I sense that’s your style but once you get some cohesive items it’ll tie into one another! 😊🙌🏻

I'm so glad that y'all are moved back in to the house! I think that aesthetically the rectangle or even a square table would look good. I'd go for a boho style rug by the couch! I love the color of the couch and think some large pillows to bring in the rug y'all pick out would be great. Also think of finding some little pops of color here and there!

So happy you guys are finally able to be home! It’s been a journey for you guys but I will say thank the good Lord you guys found the mold when you did. I had a bad experience at an apartment where I was just so sick all the time. My immune system literally crashed and I ended up being hospitalized. Turns out we had mold and even after we found mold and notified the landlord they didn’t do anything. So happy it was found in time and you both are healthy and now home! And soon you guys will make it feel homey and your safe/ happy space. Also I think a rectangle table would look super nice! Can’t wait to see the progress. Love you guys! Light textured boho rug in the living space, semi sheer white curtains, the white larger pillows behind ones you have on couch, a blonde wood long shelf above couch, few hanging green plants, maybe a round coffee table in living room and rectangle one in dining area 🤷🏼‍♀️ You guys are doing such a great job with your new home! Your place is lovely it’s giving off the cosy macrame idea. So get the round table tie it in with the chairs you have in the kitchen as it’s so close. Big white back cushions maybe 3/4 of them. I’m glad your back home now stay safe 💖

Yes, I agree. A round table would make more sense for the space but I would go with a rectangle table. That's just my preference. Also, if you're going to have family/friends over, a round table would be hard to work with as apposed to a rectangular table where you'll have more to work with and seat more. So yes, the tan, creams are looking grey once they leave the showroom. I actually bought a light brown couch thinking it was light brown after it was delivered my family told me it was grey. Yuck… so I sold it and went back and knowing that it’s an issue it was tricky finding the right tan in the brown family. I think that they have a bit of grey running through. Yes, big pillows. I went to pottery barn and bought various textures, shapes, colors and it helped even with the new couch.

I would do a circle & definitely get accent pieces, get some pieces of furniture that have a pop of color so everything isn’t so neutral that the eye sees past it. Like maybe add some green in areas here & there like vases, side tables, etc.

I am glad that you guys are back home and can continue settling in. Quick suggestion: I think if you change the lighting fixture in the living room it could possibly help the couch and the living room overall look brighter. I think it will match perfectly once you get the white pillows.

On the video the darker part of the pillows look like the color of the couch. I thought a light cream/tan like you're throw pillow color would be pretty behind the couch cushions it would make it pop and still keep that neutral/natural look. Another thought was it you are hanging those pictures next to couch black pillows behind cushions would be pretty and bring everything together. Love y'all and so glad you're home and safe.. P.S. round table for sure that way when you have guest/family every one can see each other and be a part of everyone's conversation during dinner.

Round table! I actually feel like it would look better too, not just save space. A square or rectangular one would just look like a super long extension of the already long counter.... Black? 😍 it would accent the all white kitchen & wicker details so well I think. Maybe some wicker place mats👌✨ An ivory rug in the living room will brighten the space so much! The sofa looks beige still, not gray. Also some sort of tall *slim* green house plant wedged in the corner beside the couch & window would fill the extra space nicely without crowding it, if you can find a taller / not bushy plant... It would get plenty of natural light too being by the window🪴

No big pillows takes away from smashing in those full on cuddles.. and go to homdepot for ur rugs there really good 👍

Thin rectangular table for the dining room so it's not too wide and won't take up too much space! As for the big pillows I love it but think you should do 2 big white and 2 big black to tie into those 2 pictures:)

Definitely think you all need to wait until you get the dining table and coffee table and then add in colors with the accessories such as what you put on the dining table and your rugs and pillows to tie everything in together!:) love you guys so much!
