Did you get a chance to watch the 2nd democratic debates? ...I promise if Andrew Yang had stepped out from behind the podium and declared "excuse me but my mic is mute", he would have won by a landslide. Almost all the other candidates have gotten too radical. Both political factions are too extreme. The media feeds on extremism. I would have preferred it if Yang was more assertive in the moment because it would have outed MSNBC for snubbing moderates on live national television.

But the more and more I read his policies and watched his interviews, the more I realized that he is simply brilliant. He doesn't hate Republicans, he doesn't hate Democrats. He's for Humanity.

Both actually have similar rhetoric in how they both are simple and not add any fancy words. Both are successful businessmen and both are focused on the economy. Now, less politicians are being more complex in their speech and more are starting to move towards straight forward vocabulary.

Actually, Bernie does get into specifics. Medicare for all and affordable education are pretty specific. Yang is just more specific.

Bernie disappointed me a bit when he shouted down that small business owner who had asked him a genuine question concerning how he felt screwed over by Obama’s administration at the time. Bernie’s response was to claim nothing was wrong with the current policies and then go on about the 1% and how they’re is screwing over the country, despite the guy telling Bernie he wasn’t even a billionaire or multi-millionaire. He was just being really rude to a guy asking a decent question concerning an issue that affected him. After that incident, I felt a lot less enthusiastic about supporting Bernie. Him conceding to Hillary and not “taking it all the way to the convention” like he had promised, was pretty much the final nail in the coffin for me.

I've recently found something which I find quite damning about AYang and I don't know if I can support him if he supports this. He wants to sunset old laws, which means laws will have and expiration date and will need to be renued. This may sound like a good idea if you have a very positive view of our government but I think this would end up leading to sweeping deregulation and allow for corporations to gain unimaginable power, even more than they already have. I could not support this without it being extremely limited.

@@heynowyouranallstar After I had time to reflect on his policies there's definitely things that I don't agree with. While I agree with the eventual necessity of a UBI it shouldn't come at a cost of SS or other social services like health care. Another thing that worries me is his plan to shrink federal jobs and to automatically sunset old laws..I can easily see this being abused.

The size of his crowds are already mirroring Bernie 2015 at this time. He is pulling republicans to switch to dem already in the hundreds. 1/3 the population of NH is Libertarian and all of that is going to Yang. The polling isnt showing how broad a base he has already built because it is only "Likely Democratic Voters" Nevada was moved up on the cycle this time around as well and it is Ground Zero for the automation wave and its already all over their streets and now moving rapidly into the casino's as well, replacing ALL of the bartenders at MGM this year. Yang is already #2 in Daily Kos poll with 25% last I looked.

The tax game is a ridiculous plyth. Trying to up taxes on the 1% has been played out... giving an American a guaranteed 1000$ a month grants the opportunity for wealth to grow in individuals. And he's talking about taxing the big companies like Amazon and shit. That kinda taxing will work.
