I’m 19 and I live in an rv, I love it and my family is all about boats and I’ve lived on the water all my life so I want to buy a sailboat later in life

It’s the shot of the bananas over a seemingly fireless pit and the box shelter that make this film worth it. 😀

I have not been watching any sailing channels for quite awhile, my life went to hell and I've been trying to get my self together again. I'm glad to see you guys are still living the dream! I also hope your refit goes well 👍

What really makes your videos special is the love that you show toward each other....

All of a sudden sailing vloggers everywhere have gone ashore and driving campers and motorhomes! I've travelled most of Australia in all sorts of vehicles, even lived in a cardboard box, and finally gone back to my childhood love of sailing! But now retired and full time liveaboard but still restoring an old 28ft woodboat ready for the South Pacific! Happy trails...

Pirates on a beach scene...priceless. You kids put a lot of work into filming. Setting up cameras, driving by, running back to grab camera, pushing someone out while racing by, to get that ground level shot of the dust and rear wheel.... thanks. It makes the vids you present, top notch. The van show was fun, i hope you got some great inspiration for hacks for Uma. 1000 different ways to slide a door or hide a picnic table in plain sight type hacks. Never stop learning. Thanks for bringing us along, again, on a great adventure.

The old trucks are popular for expedition vehicles for two main reasons. They're easier to repair in remote locations, and they don't have to adhere to the modern exhaust regulations, which also makes them easier to maintain and repair.

Nice that you gave yourselves a break and looked at options and choices.

Before getting back on the water sailing ( 1993-2001 ) I was living THAT life in a Unimog and then a International 6wd Military Rig converted and International Scouts all over the southwest US and Moab Utah area. But it will never beat the freedom of an Ocean. You are on Roadways and traffic and have bla bla rules when on land. On the Ocean you are truly FREE to turn when you want , go as fast or slow as you want , Pee over the side as you want , and drink and helm as you want, within reason of course. Now I have a Ford E250 Super-Duty as my overland Nomad Rig and of course setup with Lithium/Solar/Inverters all courtesy of RENOGY !! And Bed/Galley/Amenities by IKEA .... but it doesn't get used much right now as Summer has me enjoying the water ...... Did you guys really BUY that 110 Rover ?? I have a 1966 Series 2A Rover in Costa Rica with a 4cyl diesel that tops out at 50mph going downhill BUT crosses rivers that are 5 feet deep. I actually miss " my tractor " . Well keep on keeping on guys ,,, glad you had fun. Saw you with Sam and Erik a while back having fun over there. I am an RV full time nomad in the USA. Before I started out on my journey, I had watched you two and your adventures. At 6'4" it was clear that sailing would result in a lots of knocks on the head and bruises on the hips. You are spot on when you say that sailing and RVing are very similar and they do require a lot of the same skill sets. One of these videos I will whistle your theme song for you, but maybe jazz it up a hair... I whistling it right now as I type... and yes I can types and whistle at the same time!.. :)

I had to whistle the ending AGAIN this week!! ha ha GREAT show. 😀

Looking forward to your choice. As I got older my sleeping choices got bigger. Started with a back pack and a waterproof tarp. Added a tent. Then added a motorcycle and a better tent. Which turned into a car with that tent. Then a truck with a truck tent, which was replaced with a bed camper. Followed by a conversion van. And now, if I can be convinced to travel, I am at a hotel room as I am not a real fan of camping after so many years of it. I am happy enough now watching the world from what I can see from my porch or deck and others video's from around the world on RU-vid.

For an offroad vehicle, old tech really makes sense, because you might need a repair far away from the vendor-contracted computers. Some use a Unimog to go to work. You never know about the cirumstances after the shift... I wonder how the offroad show managed to get that big car wash from above.

I sail with my daughter on her shipman 28, but solo car camp in my ionic hybrid. It's great because with an inverter my hybrid battery acts as a power pack. I recently added a tail gate tent that takes minimal set up, adds spaciousness and ventilation. It's comfortable, dry and secure and gets astounding gas mileage compared to a van or RV. Love it!

Ha I always watch for the sailing, cool to see a little van life from you guys especially since we're doing it now for the second summer in a row in Alaska. We have a tiny van we converted ourselves and drove from Florida to Alaska. It's not always easy but what an adventure!

Nice to see you like the Steyr trucks! We have a lot of those in our military, the factory is about 30min from where i live 😅 (Steyr is originally a weapons manufacturer, that's why the logo is a target)
