We are a family of 5 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! Love the pantry and new fridge freezer! I’m disabled and mostly bedbound so these types of videos make me feel included in a weird way. I love organisation! Love Castner by the way!

I am also disabled. I use a walker and wheelchair. My husband had to give up our car because we couldn't afford it, so we are homebound as well.

I am also pretty much housebound...it's a big production to go get necessary bloodwork! I am so grateful to Bert & Jessica & the kids for the time & care they spend with us! I found this channel because I live in the town of Somers & thought it was neat that there was a Somers, AK...little did I know that it's not a Town but a wonder-full family of Somers! Same i grew up without a mom, and my dad wasnt much of a dad, especially currently, im a single parent with no image of what a family actually looks like. these videos bring warmth to my heart, i wish one day i can have something like this for myself and my daughter

They are an amazing family, and I love watching their videos as well, but families also come in multiple different configurations. I have some good family members, some not so good, friends who have become like family, and the happy peoples community. It's not traditional, but it's still amazing.

It scares me that they do not make the kids wear helmets while riding the snow machines . In our state it is the law for kids under 18. If they ever hit a tree or flip the machine they could have some serious head trauma. Please please consider having them wear helmets .

Saw several things in your pantry that are staples for us too. Especially the Tony's seasoning. Couldn't tell what the fish seasoning was. Love the fun in the tent. Is like a clubhouse. 🙂🙂. Today is the first day of spring and we are so happy. Hope your flowers will be blooming soon. 🏵️🌺🌷🌸

Had to smile. Doing the same here to get things in order. Seems like a motivation for spring weather to arrive sooner. When I kept nesting with snow on ground I regret when harvesting and I can't find or ran out of something. We transferred spice to jars with black labels and found a wooden stand on Amazon to hold. Obviously pantry has our main stock to refill. Is a nice accent, and we like corked jars. Hug the puppy and thanks for sharing.

Well, temps here go up and down, 75 the 50s we've had a lot of high wind warnings lately. I did plant kale, cilantro and I'm planning on doing beets, turnips and lettuce this weekend. I've had clothes on line drying in the winds. I'm hoping your spring comes soon. Love y'all.

Now to acquire an Arctic Oven tent. I know a family that spent a couple winters in wall tents out the Steese Highway. One winter it was below minus 60, they survived it by burning a lot of wood.

Garrett did a good job with his ramen cooking tutorial. I buy very similar packets here in England. Chicken or beef flavour. Sometimes I fry some mushrooms and put those in when the ramen are almost ready.

Spring came into the California desert with Wind !!! our high has been around 30-35 mph and average 12-16 mph for 3 days now . Doing cleaning will be in full soon indoors and out all the sand and dust everywhere!! The freeze dried strawberries are so yummy !! I bought a small bag at Ross and next Costco trip will be getting the big bag 🍓.

Once I asked my granddaughter if she’d want me to cut up her noodles with a fork, and she told me “that’s what she has teeth for!”🤣. Jessica, you really are a Great organizer!🥰. That’s a really Nice refrigerator!😁. I like how the shelves and drawers are situated! WE went out to the supper club and celebrated ower 60th wedding anniversary and the shrimp--prime rib and the broasted chicken was delicious; 1st time everyone liked the meal, it was cooked perfectly. Even the weather was sunny and 60%F, in WI. Another great video, thanks//
