RIP LEGEND😢 He was a big influence in my childhood, humble and pure hearted. We miss you Brother Edit: Wow guys didnt expect people to feel this way. Fly High✌🏻
I'm a grown man who isn't very fond of mankind in general, but I'm not one bit ashamed to say that his loss still makes me choke up. There are a small handful of people who ACTUALLY make a difference and he was absolutely one of them. R.I.P. brother.
100% He was as good as it gets Absolute top notch person, still seems weird to be but his death may be the saddest I’ve experienced. Not because of what he meant to me but just how Good he was and how he left, he wasn’t anywhere near finished, man
What a man. Respect.16 years after his death everyone still knows his name. Too bad we are letting down his memory by using the ocean as a garbage can.
Thank you Steave for making this world a better place happy i grew up watching you learning all animals are good snd feel just like us. I wanna save the world allso u have inspired a whole generation ❤
I remember the day he passed as if it happened yesterday I was picking up my son from school and my group of mothers were all whispering and as I approached them someone asked me if I had heard the news. Everyone in Australia knew who he was and loved and respected him. For those who don’t know, Australians love animals, they really do! Within minutes we were all silently crying for this great human being whom we never met but knew that had done so much for the animal kingdom. We will miss him always 🌹🇦🇺
I believe he was well known worldwide I'm from England he was my hero growing up still is in spirit I never cry on people I never met but Steve irwin this hit different was crying for weeks 😢
CRIKEY! he was big in the USA. In the 90s he made everything interesting. He would drive down the road, slam on the brakes, hop out and grab a poisonous snake and bring it to the camera and say how beautiful it is, and how cranky it was. Lol. Guy was loved world wide for what he was capable of
I always imagine that he met up with the stingray that killed him in whatever afterlife you believe in, and just apologized for scaring the ray. Steve Irwin was really a blessing, and I consider it a damn shame I was a year too late to experience his work
When they asked Steve Irwin on his last interview, What do you want to be remembered for Steve? He said very energetic: "I want to be remembered for Passion!, Enthusiasm! For wildlife conservation! RIP Steve Irwin I will always love you Crickey!
@@Fehldruck162 Sad that he woke up to reality, literally. To realize all his work was useless for what he really should have been working on… the kingdom of God.
Still remember hearing about his passing on the radio that morning.. it broke me and my Dad to bits. Watching his show with my Dad was a big part of my childhood, he is greatly missed, but his family keeps that spirit alive. Bless the Irwins
His death bothered me more than any other celebrity’s death. He had such a good soul. A child of the earth, his warm soul transferred his love and passion for animals to us
@@kingjohn1011 I actually came here to say the same thing. Williams and Irwin, the only two celebrities I mourned. I’m sure I’ll feel similarly about Conan.
R.I.P. You absolute Unit of a Legend. The more good people like you that we lose, the worse our way of life becomes. All of us are more lost than we care to admit. See you on the other side my friend.
It’s crazy how I never met this guy or knew him but I grew up watching him and the love that he shared with the world, but yet I feel like I knew him and who he was. He had the purest intentions and the most beautiful soul and I don’t think any other celebrity has touched as many lives as he did. He was truly a one of a kind human being and to have been able to just see him on TV growing up was enough for me. I wish I would’ve had a chance to meet this man and tell him how much he meant to me and so many others. REST IN PARADISE YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. ❤ IF YOU HAVE THIS SAME PASSION THEN SHOW THAT TO THE WORLD, WE NEED YOU!
One of those people you will always miss, even if you never had the good fortune of meeting them in person. What a legend, i loved this dude, pure heart and passion.
Growing up watching him on TV.. he was my hero. I miss him so much fr. I turned 30 this year and seeing this made me remember when I was a kid I always wanted to meet him. One of the best souls on this planet.
The better gift is God giving us free salvation. Now that is something all the money and all the conservation efforts could never amount to. While money is great and necessary to continue to live, while conversation is great and necessary so we can continue to live here on earth, all that is nothing compared to eternity spent with God when we don't deserve it.....
His family is keeping his legacy alive. His son looks just like him and works with wildlife conservation just like his dad. RIP to the 🌍's Greatest Man
The world needs more people like this man. I was lucky enough to grow up watching Steve Irwin The Crocodile Hunter. Amazing work Steve, until Valhalla brother.
Steve Irwin was part of my childhood I used to love watching the crocodile hunter. Him and David Attenborough are the reasons I love animals and learning about them. Rest in peace mate ❤️
This guy really made me feel different about animals. Having adhd when I feel low I watch this sometimes really bounces me back on track. God bless you legend you really are sorely missed.
This. Exactly this. I never met him, but I'm aware that the world is worse off without him. Edit: That includes Chester Bennington, Robin Williams and Bob Ross as per a previous comment. The statement applies to them fellas too.❤❤❤
But I don’t wanna base my life on saving the earth I love the earth but my job definitely isn’t good for the earth I dig it up and move it and clear it with excavators lol I do these things so I can indeed buy fancy cars and gold stuff
Never been anyone like him before, but we are blessed to have his children following in his foot steps, but still they cant be completely like him. Just a wonderful man, one of a kind. I bet his wife amd kids are missing him today, Fathers Dsy. I especially miss my daddy today
Every 90s child feels a pang in their heart whenever they remember Steve Irwin He was an inspiration to a generation, and he'll be missed for years to come
I’m a 99 baby and even I was devastated when I found out he died :’( man is a legend and he’ll live on in our hearts and minds as long as we’re alive ! If there’s someone I can’t wait to have a drink with in the afterlife it’ll be good ole Steve !
For real yo, I live in jamaica and I can remember when I was younger, every Saturday morning his shows would be on, and to be honest I never missed an episode this guy did, he's a tru legend, broke my heart when I heard he died....RIP Steve...you will always be remembered
Was born in 2000 and watched him as i was growing up.. he died in 2006 but still my earliest memories are watching him at my nan and grandads.. that dude was so influential to me.. miss him.
One of the most heartbreaking moments ever for me was explaining to my 6 years old goddaughter that Steve had passed away.she cried for days, bless her.
Sometimes I forget that I grew up watching this man, every time I seen him on tv he was always teaching me compassion for our animals and our world. Rip to this kind man.
He's the sole reason I love animals so much, now he's 1000x more brave than I could ever be, by interacting with big cats and catching poisonous snakes. But I don't think I would appreciate the connections animals and humans can form as much without watching him as a kid. This man was truly inspirational.
He wasn't teaching anything, he knew nothing, he was a presenter, actual scientists have the knowledge, & when left c alone like here, we realise how stupid he is: get rid of the ozone layer! Gtfo moron
Man had moral convictions. He worked and believed in his work. I was too young to appreciate Steve Irwin’s drive but I have a lot of respect for it now
Mate you’ve helped humanity more than legit anyone else on this planet. You turned peoples’ heads towards wildlife conservation in a brill’ way. Thank you Sir I never got to meet you but if I ever meet your family, they’ll receive the same warmth you’d get from me
And this was before every company and corporation put stuff about going green on everything they do or make. It was a stunt or a gimmick for him, it was something he was passionate about.
Dam dude this made me cry bro man was everything to me growing up my passion for animals solely came from that man when I met his son I couldn’t stop crying it was like seeing my hero all over again you have raised a beautiful son man rest in peace my man he’s got it from here ❤
I’m not sure I’ve seen a person more genuine. He’s literally so pure, zero percentage of this is an act and that’s soooo very rare. Wow. He was and is special
I love how he is so versatile. Actors play many roles as artists. Post is an artist and dude has range. He doesn't have to be type cast to singing one genre
That is a man with purpose. Literal chills hearing him talk about wildlife. A remarkable man that has influenced so many just by having the truest form of purpose and passion in what he does.
He was speaking straight from his soul here. Motivated by passion, grit and determination. He literally lived and DIED doing what he loved. RIP to a true legend
He died doing something he should have known better, not to do. Ignore the warning, paid the price. Tragic, maybe. But stingrays don't care who you are.
I know it hurts. But I don't think he would've had it any other way. He died doing what he loved. And despite the circumstances I don't think he would've had it any other way. Edit: man I really just said the same thing twice lol.
Steve was my childhood idol, still is. I watched his show religiously, he taught me Soo many things about animals and ecosystems. He showed me how beautiful and amazing nature is. He lives through his son and daughter
He made working with animals cool, he made it entertaining and that brought everyone in..Him and his family do so much for conservation, it's honorable..What an amazing human being. RIP.
This guy was such a huge happy part of my childlife. Can only imagine the type of work he would be doing right now for the earth. This brings tears to my eyes
Every word he said, it was gold. What a magnificent man, and no one ever made him change the way he thought, if only one out of a hundred people in this world had his spirit, we would have such a better world today.
He made me respect animals and love them the way I do today. My father did his best but when I was growing up we hunted a lot to eat not for sport that’s something my dad always stressed never hurt an animal for fun even fishing make it quick and get it over and thank the animal for the nutrients it will give to the family.
@@brian6391the shame is everyone claims to love these animals we have but will still end there life for taste an pride we were given a garden to feed ourselves from an the animals to love as companions. Plant based as it was in the garden off Eden
When Steve was first on the scene I thought he was a character. I didn't believe anyone had his level of enthusiasm coupled with the genuine kindness he showed. He was one in a billion.
Look at his eyes as he speaks about protecting the wildlife and conservation, look how they glint and how they widen as he speaks. You can see how genuine his response and body language are. He was just a man but with the heart of a hero and the soul of an Angel.
Oh c'mon.... he over exaggerated his accent, was the worlds biggest ham, and loved money. In his quest for more viewers and more money...he was careless, and it cost him his life. The BUSINESS still lives on. Tickets aren't free to the zoo, and the CONSTANT need for his family to be on TV isn't to preserve any creature...it's for cold, hard, CASH.
RIP one of the greatest people ive ever watched/known/seen this world would be a different place if we had people like him running this world it’s honestly very sad I’m only 23 and even I have seen so much pain, it’s crazy how much people can change in 20 years
its cut out but his wife is just staring and smiling at him with pure adoration and love, its amazing to see. And she never remarried, its super sad and beautiful honestly.
I saw a late show he did with his wife and the way he idolized her made me love him deeply. Good on her for not remarrying. She said she got her fairytale.
Good lord i miss him. His enthusiasm and love for all life was just infectious. God bless his family for being just like him...they are some big shoes to fill...
Well said, miss him almost more than a family member lost. He was an amazing man, person, father, friend, husband and we lost a hero the day he died. So glad he had to amazing kids and a great wife to carry on the legacy❤
@mollyannegrosch9980 acceptance and peace of who and what? Is that just a general statement that is ultimately meaningless? Instead of teaching kids that lie, I would be more inclined to teach them not to take things so seriously, especially on the internet. Acceptance is dangerous, and peace is only ever temporary.
This man gave me my love for animals thanks Steve for being and inspiration for the whole world there should be more people like you We miss you forever xxxxxx
This comment is a very beautiful and profound insight into what those guys was trying to teach. You couldn’t have quoted that any better. Very deep. Cheers mate!
I was the same. He was a special guy! I went to Port Douglas for a trip and did a half day snorkeling trip and we were at this island doing a tour and the guy just casually points at a shed and says "that's where Steve Erwin died after getting punctured in the heart from a Ray" I just stopped dead and stared for a really long time. It was very shocking to me.
same, he was my hero...i watched animal planet everyday and his show was my favorite...i pretended I was him and in the wilderness talking about animals which were my cats, snakes, frogs, and other pets...i love animals and ive NEVER seen anyone more passionate about saving them and protecting them...i balled my eyes out when he passed and I think about him all the time...he connection to the animals was unmatched by anyone else and i miss him...he was really just getting started and he died doing what he loved, and I know that he doesn't blame the stingray, he knew the danger of his work and did it anyway....just such a tragedy we lost him way too early RIP Steve Irwin ❤💯
I remember growing up I loved watching Steve Irwin. His passion and excitement was contagious. He was one of my reasons why I wanted to work with animals. I wanted to save the world and stop global warming. When he died I was devastated. I stopped watching animal planet and eventually lost my passion to work with animals. I still cry sometimes when I watch clips of him. He was the first celebrity I cried for and to this day it still hurts.
Don't give up on your dreams. I bealive we where put on this earth to do great things. I hope you keep your passion and it comes back even stronger. I truly believe in that. God bless.
@@heryksalazar7112 I agree with that continue with what you love and you dream doing even if it's nothing much as lone as you enjoy doing your job and you are doing what you always wanted to do
RIP Steve, you were a legend and are dearly missed. Growing up, he inspired me so much, I got my PhD in environmental sciences because of him. "To protect nature is to invest in our future."
Im trying to get into conservation and more particularly zoology because of steve... i dont know the complete reality behind it all and so i was wondering what are you doing now?
This guy was one of a kind. A hero to me growing up. It was an extremely sad day when he passed. I still remember the televised funeral. Horribly sad. RIP Steve
Man I feel as if I missed out I was young when he passed but I see that his work carry’s on threw his family and people whom he inspired threw out the years
@@user-ur1er9iu2nthat’s how you know he was an amazing dad and an amazing person! I watch these n it gets me in the feels n I’m a 34 year old man who lives in England n only ever watched his shows!! The bloke is an absolute legend!
Imagine if the world had 100 more good hearted humble selfless humans like this right now. If one could do as much as my brother Steve did I can’t even imagine 100. The world would be tip top and full of life/love.
