LEGO is knocking it out of the park with the release of massive 10316 Rivendell, and that streak is soon to continue when the mighty 10333 Barad-Dur set drops. But what about cheaper and more affordable LEGO sets? Well, I'm going to talk about the cheaper LEGO Lord of the Rings sets that we used to get and whether we could get any more in the future!

What I would like; - Battle packs of each faction. - Mines of Moria door. - Watcher in Water. - Faramir and His Rangers capturing Frodo and Sam. - Nazgul on Fellbeast. - Mt Doom/ring being destroyed

@@BrickingBadrumor has it that a fell beast is going to be included the Barad dur set, but it would be great to get the fell beast in a separate set so it could be bought multiple times by fans. Also you’ve probably heard this, there’s going to be a Gift With Purchase Set included for Barad Dur. It’s unknown what it could be but it’s said to be somewhere around 250 pieces and included an exclusive minifigure. This is just my own guess and hope. I think it might be a small diorama of the interior and exterior of Mount Doom and the exclusive minifig might be Isildur. And since Barad Dur is coming with Frodo, Sam and Gollum, this would be perfect. Again it’s only my opinion but it would make the most sense if it is the Gift With Purchase.

@@justalonelystrider5522I have been hoping for the same. I can’t understand why Lego wouldn’t include Isildur when they clearly made a print of him in the painting in the Rivendell set. Hoping for Isildur and maybe Elrond.

I love this. My son is getting into it and we just watched the LOTR trilogy (I haven't seen the films in a decade+). Immediately we're piecing together a Rohan "Battle Pack" from Pick a Brick Viking parts, which works surprisingly well. Lego is really taking a hit economically, there's Chinese companies that make huge numbers of LOTR figs that are pretty nice aside from ill fitting hands.
