As much as I don't believe that Ashley is a long time swiftie, to say that you're not a real swiftie if you didn't go to a show before the Taynaissance is destructively classist. I am 29 also, the first show I went to was the Reputation tour and that was because I was lucky enough to get on the guest list, prior to that I either couldn't afford due to being a poor student (1989 World Tour) and prior to that my parents wouldn't allow me to go to shows as they were expensive. The same to say if you don't have old merch you're not a fan, I only started collecting merch when I made my own money. I agree on the point that yes, I have old facebook hearts of I'd Lie lyrics, or Superman lyrics but to discount someone in my position as a swiftie is inherently classist. Please don't spin that narrative! :( All Love x

Yeah I grew up poor then became a teen mom, so I’ve never been able to go to a Taylor concert or any other of my favorite artists. Just this year I bought my first piece of merch bc I’m finally in a position to do that. Other than that I do agree Ashley is just using this for money and or attention

I gotta say: I started listening to Taylor when Tim McGraw came out (I was a teenager) and I've never seen her live. I have literally gone to 2 live shows IN MY LIFE: Elton John and Ed Sheeran (Ed's in 2019 because I could finally pay it myself!! 😍). Same with physical CDs, I don't have CDs (only Queen and inherited from my dad! / Now I have TVs heeeheee). So yes I believe you can be a swiftie without tons of merch or live shows on your back. I never asked my parents for money when I was a student. Thank the world for youtube!!! 😮‍💨

Same, however I heard her for the first time with love story, and my first album I could own is Red TV following it with Midnights. Never seen anyone live, but love their tour videos. My parents never heave us allowance so I never had money, and since I a crippling with student debt, I can rarely afford her merchandise and other expensive things. So you can be a fan with out those things.

Same, just reached that point in the video. I have zero evidence, never went to a show, never owned merch. Know every word to every song and way too much about Taylor's life but if you look at my social media there won't be anything. I find that super weird? She came up on my fyp a while back, when the whole “it’s just Ashley” thing started, and even then I immediately got bad vibes from her. It’s so obvious that she’s deliberately trying to act like Taylor, to an extent that is beyond concerning. And like you guys said, the problem is not “looking” like Taylor and getting money from it, but continually lie over and over again about everything all the damn time and pretend you’re this selfless, innocent person who doesn’t care about money. Also, the way she keeps saying she doesn’t personally think she looks like Taylor, but it’s everyone else that puts her into this narrative…..like???? What?? Are you being serious?? I've been a fan since Teardrops on my Guitar came on when I first heard it playing in the cat room while working at an animal shelter at 20 years old..I'm 36 now and have never had anyone to go to shows with so have only seen her 1 time during the fearless tour (tried to get into 1989, even went to the stadium and listened from outside but couldn't afford even face tickets..) til eras tour when I went twice in Vegas. I'm not a teenage girl and never was the entirety of my time as a fan so never felt the need to order merch that is very much catered to teenagers.. I've always just bought the albums at record stores and have all of the cds and vinyls from over the years but that doesn't stop me from being a real fan. It's not a contest to be a fan of any musician..I know it feels like that when you're younger but none of that shit matters as a grown ass adult. I own a business and have a mortgage and don't have time to be on tumblr or tiktok or whatever tf 😂

To be fair- early concert attendance/merch isn’t the best thing to judge on but she likely wasn’t a full on “swiftie” if she listened in 2006. I listened to a few Taylor swift songs starting in 2006 (I turned 8yrs in nov that year) with our song I think? but I stayed mainly a casual radio listener until I started using RU-vid/iTunes and really got to commit when I started using Spotify in like 2014? Idk just briefly before she removed everything from Spotify. But anyways I was poor and my mom doesn’t like Taylor so I’ve never been to a show or anything yet. She even came to my small hometown in 2007 when she played at trails west and I was one of the only girls that didn’t get to go bc my mom didn’t wanna go 😂

This. Is. CREEEEEEPY😮 When I was in my mid 20s and twilight was real big 😑 my face still baby, my hard was dark, and my RBF has never left 😂😅 and I would CHRONICALLY get told/asked if I knew who I looked like. Mind you, I’m older than her, but it was mostly Kristen Stewart and then Kiera Knightly (which only happened when I smiled/laughed 😂😂which was rare) but I went to great lengths to change EVERYTHING about my look. I didn’t want to be compared to a celebrity, especially one that no one liked and was younger than me! That’s weird! This copycat garb is so strange to me. I don’t understand the obsession of trying to BE Taylor, but like you all said, I can understand being a legit lookalike for parties, events, on the streets of New York etc. but to go THIS FAR AS A MOTHER?! WTH?! Once I became a mom, almost EVERY aspect of my life before, just doesn’t seem real. I don’t like what I used to, I don’t follow things like before, everything from my thoughts to my looks changed drastically. Everything has become about my kid. Everything. I can’t imagine the very weird traits her children are going to have because of this personality trait that is clearly not normal. 🧐🧐🧐

I don’t think she had plastic surgery but the pillow face from the fillers is obvious, it’s actually what’s making her look less like Taylor over time. A few years ago her cheeks weren’t as full, she could’ve gained weight but it usually doesn’t settle in only one part of the face she’d have a double chin too. But her face is VERY puffy looking for someone who’s never gotten filled, supposedly.
