You can't expect every player to be a complete striker like suarez, Ronaldo, Messi giving highlights of beautiful banger goals day and day out. Haaland doesnt even play to go beyond legacies of Messi or Cr7, he has said that himself. He wants to help team scores goals and play good as a team. Sadly, the fans put all these unrealistic expectations on a player. Regarding Tapins, City play a very conservative approach such that they shoot very close to or from inside the box, mostly not to trigger an intense counter. But he has scored way more than tapins across his whole career. Regarding imp matches, I agree he needs to perform better. Only Bayern vs City match he was good. 2goals and 1 assist in both legs. He is not a possesion based footballer and requires space and through balls to score. You cant expect him to do that against PARK the BUS Madrid, and especially when his teammates itself dont pass the ball to him in these matches. its been only 2 seasons so he has time to STEP UP.

Which they pass to haaland in perfect way possible to create a goal. Haaland's job is to keep on the play and try to make a run where all defenders are not in putting attacking pressure. This is how man city play. Players like rodri are used for defensive whenever a chance either fails or if they need an extraordinary output for it (like requiring 4 players (RW,ST,CM,CDM). It is very hard to analyse how they play since pep is too smart and changes tactics very often. So I gave u the best i could of man city playing style in summary. Also, I bet yo a keane fan
