We Need to Talk About Moving My Lasers

For those that don't know, I am moving my lasers across the country. Therefore, we need to talk about moving laser machinery. My family and I are embarking on a new adventure and are moving everything. Thankfully, Epilog is helping me move my lasers to make this easier. Here are a few tips about moving lasers:
1. Make sure you keep all of the original packing material, it makes it much easier
2. Make sure you secure all laser heads and assemblies
3. Take pictures and document everything in case something happens
There are definitely more things to think about, but those three will cover you.

A step by step guide on how to make a laser test grind / chart on a software beside lightburn would be super helpful.

Good luck with the next chapter. Any special preparation needed before you can move an epilog? I am in the middle of relocating my bussiness as well and we’ll need to move the laser soon.

It’s best if you have the original packaging. The main thing is just securing the head depending on the model. I’d recommend asking Epilog what they’d recommend for the model that you have.

@octb1921 I had all of the original foam packaging. Do your best to secure the head so it doesn’t move and if you have the foam, put it around the machine. I also had the pallet it came on so mine actually got picked up by a truck.
