Supercell make is such a cool idea but the abundance of similar looking skins can easily be fixed. Mr p and amber didn't get edgy skins because that had a set theme. If supercell knows its a problem give the competition a set theme again.
I really hoped there would be a Belle skin themed around plague, some kind of a crazy doctor or a mad scientist. Like, her attack spreads from one brawler to another just like bacteria infects humans. Too bad I had no skills to make a concept art myself and submit it to the campaign, and anyways it still would have been drowned by an edgy dragon skin!

The thing is, Frank, Sandy, and maybe even Gene make sense. Frank is a dead "frankenstein," so spirits make sense. Nightmare sandy fits perfectly with the sleepy dreamy theme of sandy. Samurais and Genies are both the ancient, mystic type. But dragons and belle? NO RESEMBLANCE
They do have like 5 percent of the blame. These skins aren't the skins with the most votes. The four we vote on in game are handpicked from the finalist we voted on on the website by SC employees. Surely those employees have noticed the trend and kind of should have known it would work out like this. (The blame almost fully lies on the voters though, but SC could have anticipated this)

People are just finding reasons to be mad at their skin not winning. If they really didn’t like the purple, they could buy any other skin for the characters

I tried to vote for Toxic Belle and it threw me an error message. Then, a few days later, I chose purple edgy Belle since it was gonna win anyway, AND IT REGISTERED MY FREAKING VOTE
no im ngl amber is an exception and i dont think people chose her because roller skater amber was like one of them „cool dragon purple fire whatever“ but rather for the reason that the other skins really resembled ice queen amber and we already had a ice/water/ opposite of fire skin for amber. so im glad they didnt win and an actual summer skin like roller skater with cool animations came out
I feel like they can make a joke theme for the next campaign ''no purple!''. You gotta make a skin about idk, Lilly and you cannot use purple as a color.
People are honestly ass, these 4 skins might be the only ones with darker tone because Supercell knows that part of the audience is kids, and honestly this happened before with Brawl pass skins with Sporemind Cordelius, Acquarius Pearl, Rose Charlie and many others in these updates all being green and no one said nothing, now they woken up because green>purple, even Spirit Warrior Fang had such a cool palette but got changed to this green Kabocha Fang one...
I always thinked that a good idea to fix this problem is that supercell banned certain palette colours that are being repetitive or that has been already used in a recent skin
This isn’t even a problem people are just mad that the skin they voted for didn’t win. I voted for the atomic belle skin and I don’t care that it lost. Pretending like half of the skins that won are purple is actually insane. When i watched the Nubbz video on this is believed that it was a problem but you trying to act like it was a problem by explaining every Make skin changed my mind.
The problem is that supercell always add *sometimes* a purple themed or dark themed skin in the final four, like why did they pick a purple themed skin when they are a ton of options to choose from like some belle skins look cooler than dragon belle no hate from the artist but this is too repetitive and im tired of it
Its not really a problem since the majority of players are voting for the purple skins since they are winning. The purple skins are the most universally liked but it seems the people who vote for the other skins really hate them. But its a voting system so its not supercells fault its the communitys.
The funny thing is that when the community post announcing the winner happened at like 5 am, like 3 people said they voted it because everyone who voted it when to sleep at like 10:00 because they are 7 lol

This is really dumb. Its not Supercell make's fault, they literally picked a diffenent color just to stop this. I think that people just like the color purple. In my opinion, I like the purple skins.
I think is really curious that a lot of purple/dark themed skins wins or at least get finalist, so now that this thing its happening i think i might try making a similar skin as an expermient to this.

If the skins we wanted to get always won, then a larger chunk of the community would be doing what you’re doing, complaining. People need to understand that they aren’t the only ones entitled to a choice, if your vote wins then it wins. If your vote loses, then it sucks, but you deal with it. That’s how I felt about the gene skin, but actually looking at it in game made me realize it’s not that bad. We just have to be more mature as a community

I'm tired of people picking skins because of how cool they look instead of how fun they look. the dragonfruit Mr. P skin is a great example of a fun theme, but even it was only picked because there was a set theme for the campaign. Thats also why I don't hate the Amber skin, even though it does have purple and falls into the other category of similar color schemes.

I actually disagree in some of the points as, for example the amber skin, don't actually have much to do with the drama, the problem was that all the skins looked the same, not necessarily that they were purple specifically cause even though it does have a bit of purple (most of it is pink) it has such bibrant and warm colors like a really warm yellow, pink and it even has white, the problem isn't the purple specifically if you go back to the subreddit you will see memes talking about how the skins were just cold colored white, purple and edgy, in fact the drama arose when pepole realized that the belle skin is just a copy of samurai gene and nightmare sandy, don't just go after any purple skin cause they weren't the problem and i don't remember them affecting this drama in any way.
It's not even that the skin is bad we just have enough of the same color over and over again. Btw the artist made this skin purple and edgy as a joke to see if he'd win or not and we all know what happened
Just to clarify, the problem isn't with the color purple. It's with those dark edgy skins that use it. Which means that Dark Angel Colt would probably fall into that category while Buba Trouba Amba wouldn't since it has an entirely different theme Also long live dragonfruit Mr.🅿️

I don't think that the problem is the color purple, but that most of the winners of supercellmake are some "edgy" skins, I will not say that there's no variety, because the fact that Mr p and amber both had skins that were more fun, proves that can be variety. But its just that a lot of the supercellmake skins are just brawlers beeing bad. It's kinda of tiresome if I'm honest.
All of the skins are beautiful, there's really no comparison, it's more the theme that is kinda meh. But I know that the majority of the fan base od brawl stars are children and teenagers so I think that it's what resonate with them.

Brawl Stars is just demonic. Look at all the horns they added for like no reason. Like Emz for example or viking Bibi. Why were the horns on the front part of her helmet? And you know what's strange vikings didn't even have horns on their helmets. And purple is associated with evil and magic and makes sense why like all the skins are purple (from the supercell make whatever) And did you notice how brawl stars just like exploded all of a sudden after it was dying like crazy. And what's even crazier is that after it exploded they started adding demonic skins all of a sudden. And if you guys think that people are actually the ones who are choosing those skins.......
Purple skins are dark and edgy. Dark and edgy typically look cooler. A lot of the people voting are simple minded. The Belle skin, the bonus winner, was way cooler than the actual winner, i couldn't believe it didnt get first.

Nightmare sandy and spirits night frank deserved the win imo but seraphim gene were ROBBED also i didn't like the belle finalists that much admiral were a reskin gold hand dragon were too edgy toxic were just moldy mike but belle pitstop was what i voted for because it was 100% original and i want a cute skin to win to contrast all the edgy skins but I'll admit it does look like a super rare skin No hate too the artist that made these skin tho am sure they're great people
