one big mistake was to switch Heartland from a DLC for D2 to a stand alone game. That would have sold well as dlc and bring new players and also old players back...but greed was stopping them to think right. I was hoping that they could salvage the assets and give us the Survival that we ask for a long time....they already done so much work on that Heartland, so most of thing are done, chars, animations and stuff. Just to adjust the numbers to the D2 system...but i think they will not beat anymore on a dead horse, in special that they do not have the men-power for D2 anymore...sad. I still support my idea, we players should make our own "Division" game...small, but pack with all we want the see and have fun with. Maybe just a winter-survival map local -host coop/single player...but no PvP as servers and cheaters can create a huge mess that could not been solved by AAA companies, an indie small one has no chance.
Their live-streams have always been boring. They are so restricted in what they can tell us, that they spend a majority of the time waffling on and on about minor details. It would be great if Massive could break Ubisoft's yoke and strike out on their own to be able to make the game they want to make without having to fall under an incredibly greedy publisher's constraints. They have been hamstrung by Ubisoft executives ever since the Division 1 reached popularity, and it is a real pity.
Who they? All Boobisoft is rotten to the core, from top to bottom, the only way to make them change is to vote with your wallet. No pre-orders, and buy after you see the gameplay, we need back the demo style....if demo will convince players, than yes we buy if not, no money for them. They hire so many activists, and poison the work place that now to change the teams will be a massive lost of time and money that they will not do it. But power of money can change that, investors only care about sells and if company is not selling because they make games for a small freaks community and not for larger players base...sure they will force a change.
I think you're overestimating how the pressure Ubisoft corporate is putting on their subsidiary studios with the stock falling. They realize the failure isn't the quality of the games but the entire approach, budget, marketing, market attitudes and choice of IPs.
*Tencent* - not necessarily Ubisoft Tencent investing in any company, usually causes greed and money to take over...look at Riot and League of Legends....Faker his Ahri skin says everything
The Devs just need to make Division 3 like the original Division 1 trailer with a brand new story , city etc and keep all the original add one....being back the snowy city thay was so alive❤
Nothing with the new patch excites me much at all to be honest. I'll play it eventually, but I'm much more excited for Vessel of Hatred with Diablo IV.
So in this video the strega is not working as intended? It looks like it's working perfectly since even tho it's not working as intended I looks very weak
Love your optimism, but Ubisoft and Massive will never create Div3. The only way this game ever sees the light of day is if the IP is sold to another stuido.
After seeing how bad the Star wars game was I'm worried for this franchise. And what has me more worried is that Jason Garrity signed off on it in the first place.
Having to sit through a live stream is supposed to be entertaining in some aspects, but the verbal tone says a lot & feeling like they are looking off camera at a cue cards for the answer. This update is going to take a be good for me but other not so much.
As players we are getting mugged off. The left the game to die for 2 whole years. Ubislop is burning, and division is their last bastion of hope. I cannot forgive them, but i dont want to see this franchise die, im really torn. I just wish another publisher would buy the Division franchise, and turn it into something great.
I've started watching these kind of episodes, cause I already did uninstall Div2 and even the PTS, which I've tried but come on. If there's any news on Div3 I'm kind a interested cause I am also a vet div player and I'm always curious if they again can suprise me with something but yeah, for now it's history repeating itself. Over and over the same missions with here and there a small twist but it isn't enough. It's the milking cow, that has already given too much milk and now.. I've already switched to other (new) games or pc ports of some PS titles, yeah. It's the gamers who can judge on the game and the developer needs to listen more.
Nothing can compare to Div1, it’s extremely difficult to jump over their first success! Sequel was just decent, maybe I drop to test the Strega AR sometime, the rest is deadly boring…
I’ve watched a lot of videos about the new update and I’m not excited about any of it! I’ve been a big fan of this game since the beginning, but I feel like this update is not in the direction that the fans/players want.
Hopefully someone in Ubisoft Corporate is an actual gamer & has a brain 🧠 I’m being totally honest by saying I don’t know a single game out there that has been out for 6 years and still has a strong community of gamers like Tom Clancy’s The Division has!
There will always be new skins, they have to bleed every last penny out of you they can. I just wish players would make a stand, say enough is enough and refuse to give them any more money.
Well, I don’t think that Division 3 will be financially very successful for Ubi if continuing with the concept. Division 1 had the highest sales in first week of release at that time but lost the majority of the players very quickly because the gameplay was not what people expected based on E3 trailers, press releases, interviews … rather expecting a tactical agent gameplay with some survival elements and not a bullet sponge fantasy shooter with loot stuff and extreme repetitive gameplay. Division 2 sales where way behind D1 sales because people now knew what the gameplay is. The strength of Division games is the quality of graphics, the detailed maps and missions and rich visual details in both. The weakness is the gameplay, the fantasy bullet sponge loot gameplay, fancy NPCs, linear mission design and the open world filled with blunt copy and paste activities. On top comes a game development with the wrong focus: instead of developing the main game they focus on technical things like more loot, more progression systems and other repetition-incentives like seasons and modes. A fraction of the original purchasers like this, the others are long ago gone and some continue playing despite this because they like other things in the game and don’t bother much what they are doing with the season crap. For me the whole season stuff is nonsense since the very first and I don’t care at all about seasons 2.0. For me it’s rediculous. The question is: - why people who like shooters don’t want to buy division games - why did the majority of D2 purchasers even not finish the campaign and left (according to MarcoStyle) - why do a lot players leave quickly after the campaign, after few hours in endgame only (my experience with the clans I where in) In the answer to these questions lies the economic potential for a potential Division 3. If they continue with their focus in Division 3 development, the sales will be below D2.
If they bailed out on heartland & mobile game then division 3 is next. They should've stayed with division 2 from the start then things wouldn't be as bad now.
Their is no excuse they should have supported the game that had the most dedicated community, but they wanted to get greedy and now that are screwed. Not sad at all they didn't respect the player base and now they are witnessing the power or the consumer.
@grumpyoldman6503 yes especially seeding in the agenda. Either this is the end of Ubi and the Division franchise or they will put all their money on Div 3 but still I won't pre order until I see the reviews coz I don't trust them anymore.
Is very sad... I coming from THE DIVISION ONE played 7 / 16 and sometimes no stop for 3 days , and now see ROY in the corner shop , FAYE LAU gone , I tell you was is the problem ,they are lazy WOKES after many years of silence they destroyed the game with WALMART " sorry " countdown the RAID, SUMMIT, LEGENDARY MISSION , and now the game is NERFS, more CLOTHING, SHOES , COSMETICS, etc,etc
With D3 they have go back to the beginning..D1....dark...snow...one big DZ...incursions...etc... But a pandemic or a system like the original DZ is not wished in these woke days. Meaning D3 will be a fail...don't listen to the community...underwhelming pvp. And with all the things that's going right now. ...who knows if d3 is ready happen. Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪
Sir I understand what u are saying but what about Grand theft auto that game is almost 19 years old and they bring new Contant to the game and then making billions if that company can do it how come this company can’t do it with division twoMy opinion that they just don’t wanna do it just laziness just to get by on nothing that they bring to this game keep up the good work thank you
“Why is this game failing?” Because you say it is. RU-vidrs hold the power and need to be more positive. It’s just a game, it’s fun to play, just play it.
If this were true then there wouldn’t have been a huge player exodus when the bigger Div RU-vidrs tried shilling the seasonal characters when that was announced
hardly the case. it's because there is nothing going on, if you are a vet, you'd know this. just draggging out the same crap- drip feeding and recycling and adding at best some shitty loot that doesn't change how the game is played on the same content we have all ground 100000 times. and then they push an update that nerfs expertise on popular items, which was about the only thing we had to do in the content drought, and *that* was supposed to bring us back or exciting to keep playing?
@@grumpyoldman6503 I am a vet, I’ve played since day one, the game is fun as it is. Just give me new weapons and gear sets and I’m happy because I’m not a diva like every other player at SHD lvl 5000
