I've been finding Earth-like paradise planets like crazy lately - no storms, minimal Sentinels - even found one in an abandoned system, so no Sentinels and no space station. Some of them have very odd/cute critters running around on them too.
Me!!! After a month long search I get lucky & find found two contenders back to back. One is paradise earth but has no water. Super beautiful though. The next is earth with water but it does have a mild storm & is a bit foggy when looking towards the horizons.
Omg did you build a first Babylon tower?? I was just thinking last night about building the tower of Babylon because I thought no one had ever done it before, it would be cool if I could help you out building it😅
It's sad... the actual solar system probably generated for some random kid on a throwaway save on their Switch, and we'll never find it or know the address.
Correct, but only when you warp! The planets themselves are not stored anywhere. Just the seed of the location. With that seed number, the game can regenerate the exact same planets in the same location every time
I had a base on a planet that got ruin through subsequent updates (went from paradise green grass and purple trees to a bug-infested swamp with purple dirt and dead trees, which were now growing inside my base). It wasn't anything special, mostly using prefab parts introduced in Update 1.1, but it was my base. And now, I moved it brick by brick to Effigy IV.
I wouldn't get to attached to it. Worlds part 1 turned my Paradise planet that was Blue sky green grass blue water... Into purple sky green water green grass. That being said worlds part 2 may change things even more drastically.
Nowadays i just embrace it, I will build something large, I'll carve a mountain, and if the world is changing, I'll just use it as a post to find another paradise planet. I personally play this game to explore the universe anyway.
@@fandhusatya Good point, every time I try to settle on a planet, I feel like I'm wasting the game potential of trillions of planets (might as well play Subnautica and choose to stay) and get bored when I fully explore a planet, learned every native mineral, and documented all the flora and fauna. Settling is great but planet hopping lets me appreciate it even more and the thrill of stepping into the unknown.
I'm one of the chief advisors of bot search operation on the creative and sharing hub. I usually use region info exports when I'm trying to find a particular planet with the exact attributes that I want. Exploring is fun but can get kind of boring quick. At least for me. Once you visit enough planets and you see enough of the fauna you can basically get a good idea of what all the game has to offer. It's a really fun game it just really needs more points of interest such as giant cities, and more story-driven quests.
@@fandhusatya beware there is a 16,000 parts per save building limit. And any terrain that you change has a high likelihood of reverting back to the way it was after you've completed so many terrain manipulations.
@@krookedliptv9852each individual save has a max of 20,000 individual parts not 16 bro. And yeah there's a maximum terrain complexity so you only have a finite amount of terrain edits in base you can made that save. I have mine taken up by seed banks I've built into mountains that have in mountain storage. I wish both had a higher cap. But I'm glad it's per save. I have multiple saves specifically for building now. Hit the 20k max I jump to the next save file and continue
Did the voters actually visited the planet?, seou is definitely the more earth like planet. The trees are more earth like, it actually have big continent not potted with many water/lakes. It also have rainbow. The night sky actually bluish black just like earth and not crimson RED
Most of us are from the Discord as we like effigy for its uniqueness and its community. It’s also a very cool planet story wise, it’s a very rare kind of Carnivorous Paradise planet. We love Effigy IV.
What's the definition of a capital planet? A paradise planet that brings a bunch of people together? Is there a definition of what it is somewhere? Otherwise I found a great paradise planet myself, which is a dissonant paradise with a LOT of underground and underwater exploration potential. Never rains, never storms, deep waters and sometimes mountainous. I find it includes all that I like about NMS. I did post a video about it on my chanel and the coordinates are at the end.
The capital planet is dictated by vote for capital of a galactic hub, that’s all. They’ve been searching for a new planet for a while now that has the most idyllic parameters.
Well I found a system that has 3 paradisiacal planets, 2 of them are green and only 1 has water. It is in the Eissentam galaxy, the nicknames of the planets are the best :) Glyphs: 4 / 1 / 9 / 14 / 16 / 6 / 10 / 16 / 6 / 13 / 16 / 2
Gg everyone! As Effigys founder, I'm happy that we won, but I encourage you guys to visit and create bases on the other contenders' planets and give them the love and care they deserve. I'm definitely building bases on the other planets. Thank you for this opportunity to be a part of this amazing community. GLORY TO THE REPUBLIC!😁🫡😎
Found around 5 or so paradise planets near my system I play in. I personally liked the one with the wave of lights that appear at night but I settled for the one with the nice waters. I plan to scrap an old base so I can develop another one on that one paradise planet
I tried to use a portal to teleport to Effigy IV but it keeps making my game crash, does anyone have the coordinates to a neighboring planet or something so I could get there?
I've yet to find any earthlike planets that aren't toxic or barren or whatever. The desert planets are really neat though I'm a huge fan. But I've found some really beautiful weirdly colored planets that I'm pretty happy about.
With all the possible beautiful unearthly combinations out there, why is “earth-like” considered a high priority? We already have a real earth, this should have been something amazing but completely alien instead. Earth-like is just so boring when you have a whole universe to explore. :(
well cause earth like is hard to get again irl so i assume in nms its like earth like with a small twist and people will enjoy that. i know some planets hurt my eyes if my brightness is too high
Exactly use code for portal, I landed on paradise planet, but the name is different. Its not effigy 4, but jimmeria hogak. The grass, the sky etc pretty much same
I should've submitted some of the Earthlikes I've found. I feel like the ones I've found are all better than these. They're paradise/bountiful and don't have blue/purple trees.
@@Johnthanglang I thought the point of finding Earthlikes was it had to look as much like Earth as possible. Maybe the community can go on a deforestation campaign to exterminate all the blue and purple trees or something.
@nolopada oh that's nice I'll try to make my way there then so I can finally build something good because I always wanted to get a good planet and somme peoples
Nms is just one of those games it's hard to explain. There's so much to do it can be overwhelming and boring. I'm finally getting back into it but its definitely hard to get a direction
I have claimed a stake on your planet and soon Voresap Beach Bar & Lounge 2 will be established. I have a blob egg in it for you if you feature it when finished
You need to find a portal to put in the glyphs! Or easier would be joining the discord, there you can get help or even a taxi there 🔥 discord.gg/9NWjeK4ash
Heya! I'm sure this gets asked a lot. I googled it but couldn't find any info on it. How do you read those coordinates? Apparently I don't have the official decoder ring. Thank you.
Havent played since the living ships first dropped. Just got a ps5 (im late af i know) and started a new save. Looking forward to building a base on a planet with a big community. See you all soon!
@nolopada yeah I bounced between expedition and my main, I found people around the planet on my main, but on the expedition it's pretty quite but there are alot more bases in expedition, can't wait to see them all transfer over when the expedition ends.
Survival makes many many paradise planets into agressive sentinel planets , you could try lowering combat severity setting while keeping all else equal!
