Hey everyone welcome back to another video today. I am super excited to announce that General Rv will now be a storyteller class B dealership… Now I am not sure the exact dealerships that will be carrying them… But all I do know is that this is another brand of class B motorhomes to add to our selection!

Storyteller has been around for years. The reason for that is people who Overland or go deep off road/off grid pay for these vehicles - just like Earth Roamer, ROA Off Road and many others. They don't need to sell their brand in a dealership - they sell themselves. Are they for the average RVer? No. They are for the Adventurer who wants to be out where 'Bigfoot', mountain goats roam, abandoned mines, ghost towns and Jeeps go to roll.

Rossmönster (American company) has been doing this for years. Both B vans and these type of truck campers. Custom on any chassis.

On that Patagonia and the other one. They need to make the cab be able to convert into a bed so you could close it off for privacy especially if you are traveling with a people who snore. All of these are beautiful but way too expensive especially in this economy.

that is probably the best class B van set up i ever seen....even though did not see a toilet of any kind, that is perfectly fine, chances i or anyone else who would buy that would have no problem doing those things outside, or get your own portable type.... put it on top of the shower when need it. drop shower curtain for that too lol.

Love the idea of their campers but not practical for how we travel at all. Would like to see manufacturers make some Bs and Cs with automotive quality passenger seats beyond the cockpit and some cargo space. The whole industry always seems geared toward couples everything and people full-timing.

The Hilt is cool. 400k is ridiculous of course, but it's a mainstream version of a GXV or...I forget their NA competitors name. But the point is something like the Hilt used to cost almost a million dollars.

I cant stop laughing, $250G for that dinky van, $540G for that class c 😂. Talk about excessive over pricing ! 😱. Go order yourself a beautiful dually with ALL the bells n whistles, and a full fibreglass truck camper with all the bells n whistles, and you got several hundred thousands $$ left over to travel for the rest of your life! 🍻

Now Europe comes to America 🇺🇸 and brings you all the best experiences possible. Drive virtually anywhere as this little beast really can deliver. It’s about half the price of the European models so when you’re done just ship it back and sell it for what you paid 😉 Personally I’d like the special build with my own ideas. Not a plastic toilet but the best possible one 😊

You cant import stuff and sell it cheep between US and Europe. US love to protect its own market from competition. A used vehicle has to be 25years old to import. A new one has to be tested in US and part has to be changed. then they put the infamous chicken tax on European trucks thats 25% extra on the price. Thats why you never see European trucks in USA. Thats why Fiat Ducato is built in USA and rebaged as A Ram promaster. (with a different engine and gearbox) Importing to EU is almost the same accept they dont have the 25 year rule and we have around 10% import duty instead of 25% chicken tax. Then VAT depending on country lights and other stuff has to be changed to comply with EU or local laws. You can make a temporary import to US for maximum 12 moths then it has to leave the country again. To EU its 6 months and you can not sell the vehicle or rent it out.

@@KristoferOlsson I brought an American Jeep Safari in Florida and exported it to the United Kingdom. It was brand new and had about 700 miles before shipping it to Southampton. I engaged a import specialist to do all the paperwork and I just entered the docks and drove it away. I did sale it about 11 months later where it was purchased by a family who took it to Cyprus. No taxes or duty. It’s possible. As far as trucks and RVS are concerned they are far too big for English roads and thus have limitations.

@@lorrieleaver2447 Dont know about UK import laws. Cyprus is a tax haven but a real pain to import to atleast the greek part. In my country in EU you cant sell a car on a temp import and if you do a permanent import you have to pay 10% import duty then 25% VAT, then the cost of changing parts to EU specs and do a couple of inspections. So if you import a car that cost 100k usd it will cost atleast 130-150k dollars before you can use it. Then you have all shipping insurance (normaly around 2% of the cars Value.) 1 exampel is the RAM TRX will cost 155 000 dollars in my country. In US you can get one bellow 100 000 dollars.

The big reason why storyteller is expensive is the fact that the company has not been to scale the production of it's offerings. If a farmer produces one gallon of milk a day in today's economy obviously that is going to be an expensive gallon of milk. But 500 gallons of milk in the same time period you can sell cheaper.

I feel like Ford is missing the boat by not having a diesel transit van. I sure would like to ditch the propane and have oil heating and electric cooking like in these vans. I can imagine a Winnebago Ekko with a Diesel engine and all wheel drive and it would be much cheaper than these.

I've been a Storyteller fan for a few years. They make a simple layout but functional for off-road - mountain biking, skiing, hiking or your life long dream vacation driving to Alaska. Earthroamer is $550,000 so $300,000 isn't bad.
