Deep lore folks here know this wasn’t their first time doing a Metronome only battle, but I definitely love seeing it again.

Yeah in Gen VIII they changed Lunar Dance so it becomes "pending" until you switch in a Pokémon that lost either HP or PPs and only activates once such Pokémon is switched in, so that was actually a clutch play.

I love how insane Metronome battles can get and this is no different lmao

For the Metronome at 2:20, Grassy Terrain halves the power of Earthquake which is why it did so little.

Flower Trick is Meowscarada's signature move. It's a base 70 power physical grass move that never misses and always crits

Lunar Dance can come into play whenever, it doesn’t need to be directly on the next turn. So since both of Quick’s Pokémon were full, the lunar dance didn’t activate until it had to. I was waiting for it to happen cause I knew they would freak out

Yes if you use Lunar Dance and the next Pokemon sent out has full HP, PP, and no status condition, it won't activate until you make another switch to a different Pokemon, assuming those Pokemon don't have full HP, PP, etc Lunar Dance can also technically stack with Healing Wish One difference between the two is Lunar Dance is exclusive to Cresselia and does everything Healing Wish does plus restore PP

Love your vids along with Chillin Here's an idea for you both: Roll a D6 Whatever the number you must random encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and random encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails). Random encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Roll 6 sided die to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

@QuickGG, with Lunar Dance that is exactly what happened, If the Pokémon sent out to replace the user already has full health, no status condition, and full PP, Lunar Dance's effect will not activate until a Pokémon is placed in that position Also, that RNGG lol
