Lol looks like I made it as the highlight of the day :D Thanks for the treat iChang. Glad to have a celebrity just staying a few streets from me. When I posted the story on my FB, my fellow Malaysian's pointed out who you both were and looks like you are very popular in Malaysia. You gained an additional fan here ;)
Waaa.. uncle bicycle is here🤩. Thank you for making iChang n jimmy feel the Malaysian vibe 👍. You represent our usual friendly Malaysian uncle aunty ❤️. Good job n Take care uncle bicycle 😁
A true Malaysian celebrates all races’ celebrations like their own. Doesn’t matter if it’s Hari Raya, Diwali, Hari Gawai, Chinese New Year or even Christmas. We have a whole year looking forward to everyone’s celebration, year after year… that’s something we’re truly proud of and passed down from generations to generations. Thanks for embracing our true culture and identity. Happy Ramadan everyone ❤️
How amazing that this Japanese couple living in Hong Kong are busy cooking and distributing Malaysian food to the Malaysians there you guys are great 👍🏼😊❤️
Tourism Malaysia? Do they bother? Baba's has done its part. Thanks Baba's. Maggi has done its part by sending a box of goodies to Travelgramers in Portugal. Jetlag Warriors, Travelgramers and few other foreign tourists who were stranded in Malaysia 2021 MCO became Malaysia's unofficial Tourism Ambassadors. Thanks to them and off course Ichang.
Abang basikal, you had showcased the Malaysian hospitality, warm & friendly. We are proud of you ! You are so lucky to be able to enjoy IChang's cooking. She is well known among the Malaysians. Anywhere you stay safe & healthy in Hong Kong.
I have not seen foreigners so appreciative of our food and culture the way both of you did it...Malaysia will always be welcoming you both. My respect to both of you
Both of you should be the Malaysian Food Ambassador in Hong Kong! Bringing people together as well as promoting Malaysian food and for that "Terima Kasih"!!
This is the true spirit of Ramadhan, it's about being benevolent and generous in giving and sharing what you have with others. It's mind blowing that Malaysians got to enjoy our national meal Nasi Lemak brought to them by Japanese! This is so great IChang and Jimmy, well done, keep it up!
tengoklah bagaimana hidangan nasi lemak iChang ni....segalanya cukup...kacang, ikan bilis yg banyak. Giving Nasi Lemak is one thing, but giving happiness to other people was the big things. Salute!
@@t.a.p4554 mana blh judge sambal tu dgn tgk gmbar je..ko blh rasa ke smbil tgk gmbar?hebat ko ni bang..bak kata pepatah don't judge a book by it's cover..jgn menilai mkanan tu dgn hnya melihat..tau nk komplen je..dh cukup brsyukur org luar tlg promote nasi lemak kita.padu ke x padu tu blkg cite..yg penting apa niat yg nk disampaikn melalui perbuatan.jadilh manusia yg mmbina.
Since I watched your “good-bye” video recently, which is why I started watching all of your RU-vid videos just to find out why you've both become so well-known in Malaysia. I find this one to be particularly moving. It just reminds me of the Kumar family since they are doing the same thing, but Kumar himself is a Malaysian, so he undoubtedly feels a connection to his homeland, but both of you are Japanese. As a result, you make us all incredibly proud by promoting our country without charge. I'm hoping that one day our local TV will run a story about your travels and experiences in Malaysia. ❤❤❤
The fact that they bothered to make a 2nd batch shows how committed, dedicated and genuine this couple is in what they were doing...from the❤❤them both🤗🤗🤗
"Bothered" is a direct translation from B.Malaysia. eg kisah 😆 It should be they were so commitment/energetic to spread their kindness and love for this Malaysian dish 👍
This is "Crazy".... Japanese Couple (Durian Queen ichang & Jimmy) living in Hong Kong, celebrate Muslim Ramadan, cooked Malaysian dish nasi lemak to be offered to Malaysian Chinese living in Hong Kong 😜💖..
This is such a wholesome video. Seeing the Malaysian people quickly grab the nasi lemak because they are craving for it makes me feel like everywhere you go, u still miss where are you from
While some Malaysians not happy being Malaysian, this couple and few other more try so hard to put Malaysia on the map. They appreciate our diversity, our generousity and our culture and food. Thank you for representing us Malaysian. We would like to welcome you once again to our beloved Malaysia, please come home family..
Actually we are very proud to be a Malaysian. Everywhere I went I proudly mentioned I'm a Malaysian. I'm so proud to showed my Malaysian passport over the immigration counter and I always ask people to come and experience our Malaysian hospitality. The only thing we don't like are those politician trying manipulate us.
Hope Mamee should give them more of those mamee chef becoz they are so kind for giving their own limited stock to others ,good job for spreading happiness and care to others in this ramadan 😊
i love how the malaysian there still have that accent, so cuteeeee! and even after staying there for like 10-20 years, some of their malay words still sounds great ❤️
ahh the malaysian authorities need to recognized your guys both, jimmy-san and ai-chan... You have already become the ambassador of Malaysia... thank you! dont know why, but i felt goosebumps and proud...
Dear i-Chang & Jimmy; we Malaysians miss you. We hope you'll come back here once the condition there is okay. We can't wait for you both to make some new videos & learn some new cuisines here. Kouji Jepun, NobuShun World & Kaz In KL (they're all lovely Japanese RU-vidrs like you both that's been promoting Malaysian food & cultures & lifestyles) are all here now. And another favorite channel of mine by Kinjo of Wasabi Laksa is now back in Japan until April. It would be fun if all these channels collaborating together to make a video. You guys are the best Japanese in RU-vid & the most amazing ambassador for Malaysia; a bridge for Malaysia & Japan to get to know each other better. I love you Jimmy & i-Chang ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
I don't know why but I'm tearing up a little. The joy you guys brought to other people just by sharing a piece of home. You guys are unofficial ambassador for Malaysia. The sambal looks soo good! Just a little tip that my mum gave me when making sambal for nasi lemak. Add a dash of soy sauce to darken the color. It would look and taste better!
Me too, feel touched with the sincerity of both of you, all the hard work and the happiness spread from the effort. 🧡🙏 love from Malaysia p/s: impressed to see the very malaysian apron, and ichang looks lovely in kebaya!
That nasi lemak looks legit! siap dengan daun pisang! food does bring people together, and i can feel the warmth through this video. keep up the good work!
MashaAllah. Alhamdulillah. I'm so proud of you both. You've introduced our authentic delicacy, the Nasi Lemak to your neighbours in Hong Kong! Our million thanks to you both. Salam Ramadhan Kareem. From Malaysia with lots respect and love. 😍🤲❤️🙌👍
Hi guys. Very happy to see what both of you are doing . In Malaysia we called this as sedekah. You guys are doing a good deed . May God bless both of you well. Take good care pls ok. Love from one of your fans from Malaysia (KL/Penang)
I'm touched and happy at the same time. 'Nasi Lemak' is the food that all Malaysians know. During ramadhan, muslims are encouraged to make sedekah by giving and sharing what we have to others, including foods. TQ gais..
I smile myself watching to this video. Full of Malaysian spirit in this event, really love it so much. Now we know that when we are abroad & suddenly stumbled upon with other Malaysian people is like having close relative come together even though we don't even know each other previously. Looking more for this kind of event from you guys
Such a nice gesture from both of you! Nasi Lemak is definitely enjoyed by everyone in Malaysia regardless of race so yes! It does bring Malaysian together, when you talk about food in Malaysia, it brings everyone together, sometimes into quarrel with our neighboring country also to claim the food...hahaha
Jimmy and IChang, you're so warm and generous, lovely people. Many people have suggested for you to take orders. If that's not possible, run a small class teaching the lady interested in making sambal (and her friends). That could include making the whole nasi lemak. That would be fun, right?
Dear iChang and Jimmy, Thanks for giving and sharing so much of joys to so many people with your kind gestures. It’s always a fun enjoying time watching you both preparing your food and I hoped you continue to keep up with this super awesome videos of yours. God bless you always 😊
I lost it when you guys made a second batch. You guys are so dedicated and amazing, my jaw actually dropped at that. Nasi Lemak is one of my favourite food to eat, so it’s nice that you’re spreading it!! (I’m Malaysian, yes) Gosh, thank you. Even if i’m really late on this, that was actually so amazing.
I teared up watching this and I dont know why haha. Thank you iChang and Jimmy for celebrating Ramadhan in a very best way that you can. May your good deeds be blessed, and hope that you guys can come back visiting Malaysia soon. And Im so happy that there are so many nice Malaysians living near you too especially abg basikal haha!
Great couples with great heart. Delivering great meaning of Malaysian cultures by cooking Malaysian food. The willingness of providing free food giveaway during Ramadan is surely a touched moment. We should be thankful of what both of you had did. Well done.
So great, ichang and husband, I personally thank you for bringing Malaysian food (nasi lemak) to the international. Thank you. May this RU-vid channel keep on growing, so you can keep sharing Malaysian food to the world.

Pleasantly surprised that you both are embracing Ramadan in HONG KONG and are giving out free nasi lemak to help people understand more about Malaysia's culture and food. I am actually from Singapore 🇸🇬 and now that the borders are open between our 2 countries..am delighted for it !
pro tips for frying extra crispy ikan bilis : after soak, clean and dry a bit of the ikan bilis, put several spoonful of corn flour n mix evenly, then fried it. guarantee you'll experience new super level of crispiness for the ikan bilis.

You both are angels to to bring this amazing home town food to outside of Malaysia for those who really homesick and can't find the local food is the happiness that money can't buy. You both are inspired me to try to cook it and share with others. Keep it up, now you have just gain another follower. Btw, I love Japanese culture and had learnt Japanese and worked in Kyoto

hello iChang & Jimmy, it is really heartwarming for me to watch this video. It takes a lot of efforts to cook Nasi Lemak. And to share it with neighbours, is such pleasing and wonderful thing. I also loved your last year's givings of kuihs (if i remember correctly) & very delighted when I see you continue doing so, during Fasting Month. Thank you so much for sharing.
