Friends! This is episode 3 of me and @iiTzDrako playing 100 days of the new Scorched Earth in Ark Survival Ascended.
This time around we do a lot of house and prep work as we move closer to being able to run caves.

isyzen you will be happy to learn that the thyla "nerf" is actually a bug and wildcard is trying to figure out why it happened. the bug only started happening when scorched dropped

In normal sitting is an hour, but you can speed it and make it even one second. It depends on the sitting you do it. But these guys is doing it normal so they have to play 100 hours real life to finish the challenge

It’s more fun this way. Of course you can beat the map in 3 days but that doesn’t really show too much progression :)

There's a line in the config that allow the cryos to function the old way. DisableCryopodFridgeRequirement=True

@@isyzen Interesting? Painful, you mean. A cryofridge takes 5 minutes to "activate" before you can actually use cryos in its range. And the range is so small you need multiple in a single cave to cover it. P.S. Terrorbirds, as weird as it sounds, became a prime cave mount after the thyla nerf. Their jump and glide lets them easily navigate difficult terrain, they have better HP than raptors and sabers, and they don't take extra headshot damage. Their base damage is bad, and so is their weight, so those are the drawbacks.

Put some preserving bins in the kitchen and make jerkey in one wns prime jerkey in another. It stacks high, gives food and it spoiles slower.

Idk if they fixed it or not, but the thyla is jumping normal now. Im on console though, idk if PC version is fixed too. Fun Fact: The thyla can bunny hop like the old ark (hitting the jump button right after you hit the ground to build up speed). Very useful for traversing the map🤙🏾
