Probably overboosting does it fix itself when you turn off and on the car

Thanks very much!! You should usually have supporting mods, especially when pushing much more power. I’d recommend searching for a turbo kit or conversion kit. Or, you could just call the turbo company and ask fitment questions. I do that all the time

Nothing yet for me, minor fender bender has it in the garage and I got a 335 to drive around

@@2JJays Vargas are one of the top turbos recommended, but pure turbos is better I think!

This looks like a 2013 due to the headlights not being upgraded to lci.

To be honest everybody says n63 sucks & the N63TU is better but my experience with the regular N63 I haven’t had any issues only had to do a tune up I brought it used with 51k now @ 56k I’ll go on a limb and say just like any other car it’s about how it was cared for before it got to you & yea 14 is when the TU was introduced but I believe there are some 13’s with the TU that was made in that year

No. You have the n63. This car has the n63tu. Turbos are different. There are upgraded turbos for yours though. Look up Pure Turbo n63

Right now I think he’s having some injector issues, apparently it’s a common issue with bmw

Yo i might try that out. Cause my drivetrain malfunction is driving me crazy.

I had this after installing catless downpipes and it ended up being a bad turbo seal.

I’ve had to use the O2 ones for my Mustang before

I've seen this from a lean condition. I had a vacuum leak that resolved it for me.

mine has been popping up on my n63 750 too

All u need is Tune and catless downpipes really. U can do intake as well. More mods after that u will end up having to replace the clutch pack in the ZF Trans, it will start to slip I've heard

@@ragingking1424 shoot I went thru and did vsfr turbos and down pipes and got it tuned and dynoed at a local shop I'm 575 wheel been driving it for the last 6 months no issues

B58, faster and more reliable

@@hardtoobtain2936 well for one the F10 N63tu doesn’t make 650whp unless it’s on upgraded turbos, a B58 makes 500whp on stock snails. A N63 is about 500-900 pounds heavier then B58 depending on what chasis. You can build a 540i and a M550i (Hybrid turbos, Fuel upgraded, ect) and the B58 will put down the better numbers. Also the biggest factor for most, the B58 is a closed deck more reliable engine, suited for power and abuse. The N63 is known to be the most unreliable Bmw engine.

Ive heard the 2014-2017 N63TU version of these engines are ok. If the N63 is from 2011-13 then those have a ton of issues

@@2w0nGranTurismo pre lci 2013 I also had an 07. Now i gotta charger. Going to change the displacement to 6.5l, the 397 cubic inch boy and add forced induction. Bmws are too expensive to fix lol.

Lol no it won’t the original n63 is no where near that tunable even the tu is not going to see numbers like that unless they’re running meth

Plus he is only running Alpina turbos, a little improvement but not a huge 700hp number. He would need stage 2 turbos and a good tune to get 700hp. He might be close to 600whp with a awesome tune, downpipes, alpina turbos, CAI wont do anything thats just for looks.
