Dylan and I randomized our starter pokemon in Scarlet and Violet but theres a twist! We wont be able to see our starters! We will be choosing our starters by only knowing their Japanese names! A convoluted idea for one of these videos: Both participants look at their randomized starters at the same time. One person then spins a wheel full of "prerequisites." Whichever prerequisite is landed on will determine which starter both participants have to take for that roll. Both participants re-randomize their starters, see what they get, and then spin again for a new prerequisite. Prerequisite Examples: -Heaviest Pokemon -Tallest Pokemon -Pokemon with the most different colors on its body -Pokemon with the highest Pokedex number -Players get to choose -Pokemon with the longest cry -The first Pokemon you'd get if naming them in alphabetical order (If by some chance two Pokemon meet the same prerequisite, then the player can choose between them)

I can't with some of these names lol Like, Skeledirges Japanese name is generally romanized/read as "Loudbone", Gardevoir is famously "Sirknight" (and yeah, this is taking into account that making the names more unintelligable to make it harder for your opponent to guess what Pokemon it is), and then fire names like Braviarys name "Wargle" (war eagle) or Ceruledges "Soulblaze". And I also get english written in Japanese can be hard to recognize if you only read the Japanese spelling, but... it's still so cursed it's funny.

@@leonannaves9273 Well, Gallade probably wasn't a concept yet when Gardevoir was named, and Gardevoir itself still has some very knightly aspects to it, just not the usual "dude with sword and armor"-part.
