I love your enthusiasm for what seems like mass chaos. But it's normal for those like you both , it's all part of the charm of Hanoi. It's good to revisit some of your favorites spot. I love those fried donuts, especially the bigger balls. You are right, that Banh Mi should have pate, butter or mayonaise, soy sauce. I hope Michele recovers from her illness. 🙏

It's hard to Believe isn't it.. There are some but people are very aware of the space around them, but you can barely relax your mind on these streets.. I'm just heading back out.. :o)

never been to Hanoi but I've been to Saigon a few years ago. I cannot get used to the toddler sized stools. I suppose it isn't a big problem for the Vietnamese because they are all so petit.
