Georgia could have changed the kit, but they decided to keep it because qualification was historic and they wanted to continue with same one as they qualified with.
@@Diogo85 my example just proved that there is. Just because you have a certain taste, it doesn't mean that it's not absolute shit. For example, if someone says that in their opinion Freddie Mercury wasn't a good singer, that's their taste, they are allowed to have it, but it doesn't make it any less objectively shit, since it's objectively accepted that Freddie was an amazing singer. You get the drift?
The France and Dutch jerseys are so much better than the Italian jersey 😂 I don't think people have realised but he's put Nike kits at the bottom of the ranks because he's sponsored/worked with Adidas.. bless him
I like all of them mentioned but I definitely prefer Italy’s kit. He definitely underrated France and Netherlands is average. Italy’s is really good and deserves to be ranked higher than the France and the Netherlands
Dear Thogden and Thogdad I just want to tell you that the mountain in Slovenia's shirt represents mountain Triglav ( the highest mountain in Slovenia which we Slovenians are very proud of)
I was thinking the same when I saw pictures of Croatia new home kit, but when I saw players first time wearing them, they actually look really nice and the second blue one is dopeee. 😊
17:25 i believe that that this barbed wire should be „Edelweiss“ flowers. It is inspired by the „Sennenhemd“ a classic Swiss shirt traditionally worn by farmers.
5:09: It's a callback to the 1966 training kit England used, with the purple being a combination of the red and blue. It's a homage to the England team that won them their only World Cup thus far and people are mad because they didn't actually put the effort in to find any genuine material on why this is? This isn't me pulling stuff out of me butt, this was what was said by an FA spokesperson. If Nike were indeed actually catering to these kinds of audience, they wouldn't be vague about it, they would come forward and say that, that's how the world works. When you're a company trying something daring, you can't be vague during the release otherwise only backlash follows.
I agree with "Dad" - that France Trikot looks super "Royal" - Fitting for a proud nation and a World-Cup Winner. Somehow it reminds of "medieval Nobility" - the Designers did a great job, here!
@@JeewithGodschildhe said he agreed being 7th but because ronaldo is in there he put it in 17th? If this isn't being a salty fanboy than i dont know what it. Reverse the roles and you would say the exact same thing
You’ve missed a very important part of the Danish shirt. On the backside of the fabric the names of every football club - even the smallest ones- are woven into the fabric. It’s pretty cool! Besides, as our flag is the oldest in the world, we definitely have dibs on the red and white! 😂🇩🇰
Putting the name of every team in your country on your EURO 2024 shirt is a great touch ... sadly my country won't have space to put all of them I don't think
@@ZebraMan74 We have 1535 football clubs in Denmark. But every club isn’t on every shirt, it depends on which part of the fabric is used in the shirts. 😊
Fun Fact: The German home kit had almost identical pattern from the 2006 World Cup kit, when they also hosted the tournament, at that time. They also recently modified the design of shirt numbers due to the controversial number "44", whose numerical design bears the similar Nazi symbol (SS).
The Romania Shirt reminds on the Shirts, they wore 1990 in Italy. That was the strongest Romania, ever, with Hagi and Co. I like that this actual Shirt is a modern Version of that Decade - I like it.
Thogdad rocking a rage against the machine or mayber a smashing pumpinks zero era tee or who knows a north vietnam thing? (I don't think he's THAT old)... anyways I dig it. Respect from Madrid guys.
The England flag was just a blend of the red, white and blue cuff design from the 1966 training kit (also see the purple between the red and blue stripes on the cuffs this year). The multi-coloured flags on our 2011 shirt were there to signify the different cultures and communities within England, nobody seemed to care then. This year's is literally just a blend of colours with no deeper meaning and it caused a kick-off over nothing!
Definitely! Nike manages to get worse and worse, this kit is a valid reason to end the contract with Nike and change to Adidas. The worst part is that someone somewhere thought this design is the best out of all proposals, I'd like to see other proposals if this one was the best.
The only thing that is still relevant here are the places from 2 to 24, Italy's jersey is “above everything” as the Germans sing in their anthem! Hands off !!!
People complain so much and even write off the England shirt completely because of that one little element, but ironically, it's actually one of the most traditional, classic, iconic England shirt designs anybody could ever ask for overall. Those people have completely lost their minds.
Chelsea have agreed personal terms with France Under-21 winger Michael Olise, 22, and are set to discuss scheduling payments to meet his release clause at Crystal Palace
I'm Croatian and I agree that Nike did a terrible job on the home kit for Croatia. I wish they stopped messing around with the size of the checkerboard pattern, find a reasonable size and stick with it, no wavy squares (like 1998 WC kit, some poeple love it, I hate the design of that kit), for me Euro 96 kit had the perfect size of the squares, not too big, not too small. Why do they always have to fiddle around with our kit, Nike, get your act together!
