I've also not larped since before the plague and it hurts. I've been a larper for more then half my life and it sucks when part of your soul has been diminished. I've recently felt the creative itch and call from my shop, cleaned it up and now I'm making boffer/latex weapons, props, clothing, etc. again. Thank you for putting words to something I've also felt but only could internalized. Cheers.
I’m excited for you!! Definitely don’t pigeonhole yourself, one of my favorite things about Larp in the first place is it’s basically a communal platform to do ~SO~ many different types of artistic things, without needing a reason to justify its existence. Make what you love and your audience will love it too 💖
Recently found your channel and was sad to see it inactive, this is an absolutely lovely surprise! Stoked to see where your channel goes and how it grows!
Glad you're doing well. I'll be honest while I live the stuff you've done I always was a little concerned that you were limiting yourself by being thrift store larper. Can't wait to see even more from you now!
I definitely share those same feelings. I really don't feel safe in going to big events, but I hate that feeling of being stuck. So many friends jumped from in-person costumed gatherings to tiktok, but the platform just isn't for me. Still crafting, but trying to find that nitch.
