Just wanted to say i have been lowkey following this series for a while and have been greatly inspired by this build. I am actually doing a military themed Suzuki savage bobber build very similar to this style. This is my 3rd bobber but i think this one is gonna be my favorite
Looks good man! I have the same bike and alot of the same parts you're using. Its cool to watch you do this because i am getting some pointers from ya.
You need to get longer hose for the crank case filter and run it do to bottom on frame it going get very oily and dirty . Why I had to do on my Road Star
I got an 06 savage that been wanting to play with. Did you reduce the OEM wiring for keep it stock? I cut a bunch or wiring out and am working on making my own wiring to a bare minimum
on the forums i was reading after you change the muffler and air cleaner the bike should take a 150 main jet... (forgot what the pilot jet should be) in the next video i'll talk more about the kit i ordered.. kind of excited to see how well or poor it does lol
RayRay3866 ..... I ride a stock Yamaha Roadliner, and a stock Harley Sportster. Both bikes look good, and definitely are not boring. Your bike looks like a theft recovery.lmao
Oooohhhhh you’re a Harley guy... well that just explains everything. Harley’s are pretty boring in my opinion. Everyone and their mother has a Harley, way to stand out from the crowd and be different. I don’t know why you’d pay so much for something so slow with such antiquated technology. Hell, I’ve been looking into other bikes to turn into a bobber and the Yamaha Bolt was whooping on the sportster. So much cheaper too 🤷♂️ meh, I guess it’s a Harley thing.
