I’m hoping the perk info change is a sign that randomised perks are coming, as the biggest downside of that option in tome challenges is loading into a game and being unsure what a few of your perks even do.
Them making this a thing but still not letting you see what perks and items your team brings is just mind boggling, it's the same level of crap of when survivor is interacting with a totem you don't know what exactly they are doing to what kind of totem even though a simple recolor for each type would do the trick once and for all. The game unnecessary constantly trying to hide crucial information from you that is easily accessible ANYWAY through SWF is unacceptable in today's standarts
@@AnadronDZH I’ve heard that the coding is more complex at the lobby loading screen, probably because it would have to show live changes if people switch perks etc.
@@danowen79 that shouldn't be an issue if you get to see the perks only after the match starts. They can make a scoreboard like in shooter games to see the perks, it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
@@mikeoxsmall6061SWF has that information for free. The Game is not Survivor Sided. It’s pretty balanced actually. More Survivor Sided if you play with more friends. More Killer Sided in SoloQ But Overall pretty balanced
with the perk info, it'd be great if the perks of the other survivors were displayed as well. If survivors could see their teammates perks as well they could receive some insight before the match begins and have a glimmer of an idea of that player's playstyle, strengths, weaknesses, and therefor be able to make plays themselves based on that

@@shikigami1633 that's not what was asked. what was asked was a rework on older moris, not new moris locked behind a paywall or grinding. There's older ones that look REALLY BAD when compared to what DBD looks like nowdays. Those NEED to be updated.
it's already a feature on dbd mobile, you can see everything your teammates are using while the time is counting down, they definitely should add it to console and PC aswell
So, I’m being optimistic here and assuming BeHaviour knows this, but if they added that feature, playing killer would become absolute h3ll! Information is everything in this game and Survivors get more than enough of it at base kit while Killers get very little. Allowing survivors to see each other’s perks to synergize with randoms allowing for things like (for example) 4-stacks of Breakout or Background Player + Saboteur with RANDOMS would make it impossible to win as killer unless you’re up against noobs who haven’t unlocked any extra survivors or their perks. DBD can’t go on without survivor players, but it also can’t survive without killer players.
@@diamondblue907how about only being able to see your Teammates Perks once you’re in a Trial. That solves that issue. Also, there is the Chat Option in the Lobby for PC Players. You can already try to make everyone bring something annoying for the Killer. And it rarely works. I don’t think seeing Perk would change much.

Since they got the in game perk info, let us click on other teammate’s name and see what they got. Also seeing the Archive challenge you have while in a match would be awesome too.
You think this would be good, but this is terrible. If people see their randoms with not optimal builds for how they wanna play, people will dodge lobbies. It's not healthy for the game.
How about only being able to see it while in a Match. And if People still kill themselves on hook or DC, then they are the same People who would have done it once they saw someone was using Selfcare. So nothing would really change.
@@hawluchador8754if it works in-game then I don’t mind that. People aren’t gonna dodge in-game to get a locked Matchmaking. I would love to see what teammates bring or at least more indicators what a teammate brought somehow. Especially for deliverances
Add post game chat to console. I killed a Jake and wanted to apologize to him so bad lol I wanna be able to congratulate ppl and say sorry when I mess up and stuff! Either add it or give us full cross progression!

it sucks so much. it's unbearably bad. i can't swap between characters with one press while perusing. i can't select individual cosmetics from an outfit, nor can i select an outfit from its individual pieces. i can no longer see how many cosmetic pieces i have for each character out of how many available. they inexplicably took the perks off the bio page. almost everything about it is worse. the collections page is an actual joke if i can't interact with the individual cosmetics from there. if they put back everything they removed, i'm fine with the changes, but they removed so much stuff in the process. this is a bad change and i can't see myself using the store anymore. it's too clunky and hard to use.
And lastly, no one can't normally plays this game, because of you switched to a new engine (although no one asked you to) and we got rubberbanding. Pretty good job so far.
I kinda moved on to other stuff because i really miss the esthetic of the old maps the really dark and gritty style. Dont miss how broken they where with all the infinity loops. Just that feeling. All maps are super bright now and even tho there are lots of killers in game at one point you are only facing the strongest because the others have a hard time keeping up agains good teams
Forgot to mention the new upgrade to unreal engine 5, that drops my fps to a console experience at anything but low. (doesnt happen on 7.6.2 (AMD RX7600 + R5 5600 32gb)(Dunno if anyone else is experiencing this))
@@crowchant9917bro im playing 2070s at lowest settings 1440p 120fps. only very few effects can drop some frames and ptb with 5.2 engine was fine. same graphics and expirience for low settings
@@YourDevil54 ya, I can pull over 100fps on medium, but it'll drop 30fps on lots of effects. Sad I have to play low settings now. Seems like just yesterday I bought the GPU lol
Estou com o mesmo problema, depois dessa nova engine 5 ficou impossivel jogar, trnho as configurações minimas mostradas na pagina do jogo, mas mesmo assim esta horrivel de se jogar, meu joga sofre pra pegar 30 fps. Antes de vir essa atualização eu rodava o jogo tranquilo no médio, agora é tudo no baixo resolução e graficos tudo no minimo, uma pena..
Great patch ! For those that don't follow DBD news in detail, this short did not mention the biggest change of all : with this patch, DBD was updated to Unreal Engine 5 !
It's buggy rn, but I have a feeling that subsequent patches will be much better and that dbd will run better overall moving forward. Whenever they implement Nanite, it'll be a great day for performance across all platforms

Just a suggestion. Maybe you guys could place a character image by perks to see what perks go to who? Would help reduce time when looking for a specific perk
search by wording so if you’re for example looking for one specific perk about hooking or unhooking search “hook/unhook” etc & all the perks with hook affects will show up that’s the easiest way or just search by characters name
@@heavy0119 ye same, tho at least they were already strong and this patch seems to address the actual main issues of miserable switching and bugs. If only they kept the Charlotte haste or gave Victor a way to apply hook states tho, that would just tie it together and maybe actually prevent the slugs
Please bring the function to randomize builds, both in public matches and in custom matches with bots. I was thinking that when randomizing, the build would be hidden, and only at the beginning of the match could we see it. It would be an interesting challenge, both for training and for fun.
for years i’ve been saying people don’t change builds because they forget the affects & timings of unfamiliar perks mid-game. better late than never I suppose
I used to love this game so much before your dev team took the soul out of my experience. Haven't played since about 2 weeks after you destroyed the last good perk spine chill.
improved collision detection is behavior speak for blight will now bounce off of everything from rearview mirrors that he was a good meter or 2 away from to a floating book on eyrie of crows. not only that, but behavior didn't remove hug teching by making it so that it just ends the power then and there. hope all of the blight mains who get fucked over by this change find a work around soon.
GOT DAMN! How much more can Decisive Strike be nerfed? That perk literally got gang raped by behavioral. Each worker had an idea and they stacked it all on 1 update at a time.
Hugtech Blight had to go as it was not intended and it was also a bug all along. Glad to see it has finally been taken care of 👍 However Blight is still a big threat and could need a longer cooldown since he catches up to survivors way too quick.

All in all great changes, especially the Twins QoL and Haddonfield. Ultimate Weapon getting gutted was a no-brainer tbh, even if I did like using the perk.
I hate Ultimate Weapon but i do think the nerf wasn't ideal. What bothered me the most against it was that it could be spread around the map for too long, it felt like it could be used all the time, like as soon as the effects were over it was back, and on top of that it deals blindness which is the worst. I wish it would instead just stop being spread around and stop dealing blindness or have a longer cooldown while also not dealing blindness anymore
Ultimate weapon got gutted so bad tough. Not sure why we're are killing a perk that encourages chases and active playstyles. Instead on hiding or just slapping slowdowns
Because everyone complains about everything if they kept it the same and just removed the weirdo blindness it inflicts it would have been alot healthier
My biggest gripe with ultimate weapon was killers would hook a survivor, open a locker next to them and proceed to cut off the other 3 survivors from attempting a save. In which case it was being used less as a chase perk and more as a perk to make proxy camping easier to do.
@@hewmanbeingyeah but now that everyone can run the distortion killers are forced to proxy camp and tunnel even harder: why would they go searching for survivors on a big map if they can just stay not far from the hook and tunnel the survivor out?
@@chrisd.6291 I’m not sure, I mean distortion has been in the game for years, back when gens took 80 seconds and commodious toolboxes had 180 charges, DS was at full power because conspicuous actions weren’t a thing yet, dead hard for distance existed, I could probably go on. Killers aren’t forced to proxy camp at all. Sure if you want an easier time, it’s the logical thing to do. But it isn’t very skilful IMO and it’s boring on the survivor side because the best counter is to just do gens, which is why killers tunnel because gens go too fast, so we end up stuck in a repeating cycle of gens go too fast, tunnel, proxy camp and so on.
The artist's second ancient book task can't be done. In the game, the task process can't be completed. In addition, when will the nurse and the hell friar's perspective bug be fixed? All butchers have visual jerks when they cross the window.
I still feel like Charlotte getting a speed boost being removed kind of removes a bunch from the changes because holding w is once again 100% viable against twins.
Well I can’t say I hate this update like others in the past, hopefully things go smoothly and don’t add more bugs and problems to the game like the self care bug that’s still going on along with other bugs people have mentioned in the comments

I mean soul chemical is fair but who out there asked for the summoning stone change? You keep changing things that nobody is conplaining about. Gold Job with thr twins though and the new Shop looks great:)
I just looked through the list of known and fixed issues and did not see the one I was looking for. Wesker can no longer vault East Office Window closest to hole in the wall which leads to main lobby when using his Virulent Bound. (RPD both variations) He can vault normally, but will not work with his power. Please fix this.
