@JerryRigEverything awesome work, have loved and watched your channel for years. I especially love the work you did for providing a much needed library in Africa. Love seeing you work with @CaseyLaDelle, and my best friend @BruceCookFMX. So amazing! Keep being awesome!!! (Scratches at level 6, with deeper groves at level 7).
Thank you for doing all what you do to help wheelchair users. I am recently started using a wheelchair due to having a tethered spinal cord. What you said about manual wheelchair price and how expensive they are is very true. I appreciate that you are trying to make it more affordable. I can't wait to see your new product. I definitely miss being able to go out on trails. Keep up the good work Zack!!!
This channel is the only one I have whitelisted for sponsor ads in sponsorblock specifically because the money generated from the ads you do and the products you pitch goes towards helping people
This one touches close to home for me as my sister is a quadrapalegic. Thankyou for taking your patreon earnings and doing this for all disabled people worldwide
HEY, HEY! I live in Rhode Island!!! Seriously, this state has a few strange laws. So I'm not surprised these great off road wheelchairs can't be sold here.
Such a fantastic and great human Zack is! His company is so inventive and going all the way with it. It's great to see these young men at this business doing such good work for people with disabilities. Casey great video and whoever ends up with these off-road wheelchairs will be so thankful for the mobility. The technology in that building is so cool!
Very cool Casey! My wife and I do some work with Oregon Adaptive Sports here in Bend. They help get all sorts of people back out into the woods, skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. The biggest barrier to getting people on bikes is the cost of buying a custom rig. Grab a bike and come out to watch some of these folks ride. Some of them absolutely rip on the downhills and the smiles are non-stop.
Very nice. Casey, you're going to be within about 350 miles of where I live. I hope you have a safe, uneventful trip. You and Zach are much appreciated. Thank you. Oh yes, thank you Grumpy as well.
@CaseyLaDelle I fully support your cameraman. I have Cerebral Palsy and have always wanted to work out in an accessible gym. Unfortunately, I had to stop going to physical therapy to take care of my grandfather. When I tried to resume, they wouldn't accept my insurance, and the cost of going twice a week was between $50-$100. It's disheartening how limited the assistance options are here. On a related note, I paid out of pocket for an Electra HD7 wheelchair, costing $4,000, so I could have a portable chair for work.
When you gave the car to Grumpy, I thought that was going to be a really hard act to follow. Then this happens - not only happens, but with Grumpy doing his own version of giving back to your goal. Looking forward to seeing you drop these off at Bruce's and the doors they will open. Zack - you found an area with a shortage in it, and you not only came up with a solution, you created a solution that's life changing. Kudos to the both of you doesn't even BEGIN to express it.
Thank you Casey. Thank you Grumpy. Thank you Bruce. Thank you David. Thank you Zach. Thank you Aura. Thank you fellow patreons. (I can barely see through these wets eyes.)
Having engineers right next to manufacturing is the absolute most efficient way to run a plant. I’m a retired electrical engineer. My office had a large window that faced the manufacturing area. That was soo nice. The communication between the two groups was awesome. It allowed us to make some really cool equipment.
I’m a mechanical engineer and so is my dad, we run our family business which is a steel construction factory here in Beirut. Our office is right above the factory and it’s all glass so we can see through what’s going on down there. It works out great.
This is so cool, channel sponsors really working for good solid heartwarming causes. Casey, Grumpy, Zach, Aura, Bruce and David you all rock. The Patreons on here too. Wouldn't it be great if this went viral and Casey went to 500K subscribers.
This is exactly why I watch and donate. It is projects like these that are truly life changing. It was great to get to see Zack's vision fur the future of Not A Wheelchair. I am looking forward to part 2 with Bruce. Kudos to everyone involved, and a special thanks to Grumpy.
Awesome video. I've been wheelchair bound for 5 yrs now (CIDP) and a lot of new designs are coming out. It was a big blow. I was always outside unless the weather was to bad. I was an avid backpacker, fisherman, and all around outdoors man and hope maybe someday to get back out there, maybe even the beach. He's right about the prices. The only two models that would accomplish my goals, a tracked one or a six wheeler, and are the price of a car. I appreciate him AND David for their knowledge and big hearts. You guys are going to change lives in a BIG WAY!
I grew up with a tetraplegic uncle and now have CIDP myself after a lifetime of activity, including being a Veteran. I'm not in a chair yet, but it's great to know people like Zack and Casey are out there.
HUGE thank you to all the Patreon supporters who made this happen!! If you’d like to join in the lowest price is only a dollar a month. Click the link here to check it out! www.patreon.com/user?u=67485120
Just did after reading the comment by @simon-pierregrenon2938 . A few dollars isn't much but it's something. Keep doing amazing things Casey. You, Zack, and those trying to achieve the goal of making the world a better place, you all stand as an example of what people should really be working towards. Not profits, not shiny everything, but helping your neighbor, be that up the street or across a border.
@@davidbreaux5989 Yup, they are considered medical equipment so they get to charge extra for it, and then insurance needs to cover it so they try to get a discount on it, so they charge even more! 🙄
Hi Casey when you two was talking about the price of wheelchairs my last wheelchair cost 34K. I am glad you are taking them upto Bruce he reminds me of of me just because we are disabled doesn't stop us from doing anything. I really appreciate your content and everything you do.
Those donation numbers are mind boggling. It just goes to show how much good small amounts can do in the right hands. My $12.00 per year is nearly nothing, really. It’s just the same as me not eating out for lunch ONLY ONE DAY in the entire year. It wouldn’t make hardly any difference to any cause I want to support. BUT, add it to >300k people giving $12.00 per year and… WOW!
Casey, Grumpy, David, Bruce, Zack, Aura and all the Patreon subscribers you are a great team. David has a wonderful future planned for himself and future patients.
Damnit Casey . . . You're making it hard to keep hating you! But until Bruce says he doesn't hate you anymore, it's only right to stick to it . . . for now Keep doing what you're doing sir, restoring faith in humanity one RU-vid video at a time! 😉
@@BruceCookfmx . . . I, like many I'm sure, will try . . . Just remember, make Casey do a recovery just like you did in your response short . . . THEN maybe we can all hate BOTH of you 😆😉
It feels like when Casey meets up with Bruce they should do a recovery and CASEY should do it the same way Bruce has to . . . with Bruce "coaching" him Wonder what that would look like 🤔 😆
I remember watching Zac's videos by accident, thinking how cool that was. Now here is one of my most favorite RU-vidrs Casey LaDelle doing this with Zac. How FREAKING AWESOME. Gotta L❤️VE what these wonderful people are doing. Thanks to all who donated and thanks to Grumpy. Also to Grumpy, enjoy your car.
Thank you for letting us help! This is a great video! I just subscribed to Zack's channel. Thank you for sharing it with us, and for your collaboration with him! I have a personal interest there.
As a 64 year old who's been in a wheelchair since I broke my back when I was 20, I can only imagine how much the kids and other lucky young people who get these off road electric wheelchairs will love those chairs and you and the sponsors for making this possible. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You All for being so generous, caring and kind. The world needs more people like you.
I love that I can contribute to this cause. I really wish I had the money to afford one of these chairs for my mom so she could get out and enjoy nature with the grandbabies and family. Thank you for helping out people like this Casey. Amazing guy.
The prices of power chairs really is terribly high but if you keep watch on Marketplace, you'll be able to find a chair that will fit your mom's needs for a reasonable price. Used chairs are fairly hard to sell and a lot of them are being sold because the person using it has passed away.
Casey this is so amazing. I love to get outside and hike. I’m mostly healed after surgery last year following a knee injury, but I have a new appreciation for mobility issues. I’m happy to contribute to Patreon.
Awesome project Casey. You may want to check into import requirements before coming to Canada to avoid being held up. Looking forward to having you north of the border. Cheers
No good deed goes unpunished. :( I wonder if you can declare yourself a charity of some sort and avoid import fees for times like this ? I dunno, any lawyers watching ?
Casey, damn dude. You keep doing awesome stuff for other people. A lot of the bigger RU-vidrs could really take some lessons from ya. What an awesome trip.
Damn, David. I didn't see that coming at all. 👍🏼. To everyone involved in these awesome projects, ❤❤❤. Finally Casey, if you insist in posting videos like this, then you should seriously consider supplying your Patreon supporters with discount coupons for tissue. Once again you have caused me to leak tears into my cornflakes. GREAT JOB!
Much appreciation to you, Zack and Grumpy for your kindness to a segment of our population that deal with the serious issue of mobility. 'MERICA. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲🇺🇲
Despite all the hate and turmoil, there are more good than bad people in the world. Heartfull thank you to Casey, Bruce (and his backers), Grumpy, David and all the patreons of this channel!!👏👏👏
I am sorry, Casey, but I had to skip the last two advertisements because one was a 37 minute run time. How does you tube think we will last that long? Anyway, thank you for all the good you add to this crazy world.
I was curious what the standard retail price for those is so went to the website…the adult model is $5,099 and the kids is $2,499 so the four without any discounts would have been $15,200+-.
Yet another reason to hate Casey LaDelle. Can't believe Grumpy is still talking to him, much less helping. Grumpy is fantastic for overcoming his disdain of Casey to help others. Thank you Grumpy.
G'day Casey and family. I am Australian and I live in a wheelchair. This is working out to be a little longwinded, but I have good reason. Please be patient. I don't know know about the American market for anything related to this industry. Here in Australia as soon as you mention physical disabled and the various bits we need for everyday life, the dollar sounds start cha-chinging. I'm currently working on a project for My own use. I have a car with a tray back that is known locally as a utility. I also have an electric mobility scooter, which is pretty good for mild off-road applications. I am going to Go camping using this combination. I'm putting a small crane on my ute so that I can lift my scooter into and out of the back. I would include some pictures, but I have none at this stage. Any how, I am NOT asking for ANYTHING. I have watched your story about the wheelchair factory. I watch All of your RU-vid content as soon as it is available. Love what you are doing with the wheelchairs. They WILL CHANGE someone's life. Great video!!!!!
OK, now I get it...just as I thought. The "there's this lazy guy up in Canada doing recoveries" and the the "lazy guy" turns out to be a paraplegic who "hates Casey LaDelle" was all just an elaborate "schtik" . That is so cool and entertaining! And gave Bruce more views (including mine), and will support those who need the wheel chairs. Can't wait to see Part 2. Casey, you are are a RU-vid genius and a wonderful human being!
I would like to thank you Casey for restoring my faith in humanity. With all the crazy stuff that is going on around the world, I was starting to sink into a level of despair for the future of civility. It is so refreshing to discover the fact that there are still many very fine people like yourself, Zack, David and, of course Grumpy (not forgetting Mrs Grumpy too) that give me faith that we will survive the craziness and come out the other side, all the better, thanks to people like you. Cheers from Australia.
much better content in this video than the " short" RU-vid video with heavy d at heavy D's location that took almost 3 hours to make a short RU-vid video forTik Tok moving big tires around.
Yeah, wonderful 👍. You did say you were taking them to Canada, you may need paperwork to get them across the border . To avoid problems I'd make a few calls. Personally I think they should be allowed if they are donated, but that's my opinion. You do good work you guys and gals.
This is such a wholesome, worthy and pleasing video, and it's clear that is your whole ethos. Much more watchable than the HeavyD colab that I lasted a few minutes with. I get you need to boost views - hence the colabs, and you need income - hence sponsorships, not a problem if it's all for good reasons.
My current subscripton to another anti-virus company ends in a couple of months. I have already decided to give Aura a try. It will cost a little bit more, but I will receive much more and that has value. Especially when a company like Aura cares about people and uses someone like you to spread their caring for others. Thank both you and Aura for what you do as a team.
Nice vehicles Zach! Can you build them with a hydraulic/electric scissor wheelbase so the rider can adjust the seat height and shorten the wheelbase for different scenarios such as a bus or an office counter...just a thought. Many Blessings to all.
Casey you have done it again. Great work. Watching you're videos has become a heart warming experience, I have even started reading some of the comments.
OMG that mandrel bender! 🤤🤤🤤 I first wondered why they went the tube plug route and not just bending the axle in the middle and then I realised that the more complicated way is also camber adjustable.
Good for Zack making more affordable wheelchairs!! Hearing from friends who use wheelchairs (especially powered ones), it’s just absurd how much the companies charge, and then don’t even handle it with proper urgency when the chair breaks down. About time for some competition!
Casey just a thought since Bruce Cook has a very strong mind that he can visualize things, it might be a good idea to bring him along on your return trip for the next visit !
To all that contributed not only to what Casey is doing here; but to all that work with Zack - and the Contributors - What an awesome company. This is wonderful. ❤
