Having watched the two of you since your first video, I can honestly say how much both of you have developed your own personalities and come in to your own. so nice to see the growth your channel has become. many kudos to you, and welcome back safe and sound!
Thank you Susan! That's so cool that you say that; we feel like we've both grown so much since we started our journey! We're super grateful for our time on the road, and are already itching to get back out and travel again! 😄 Thanks for being part of the adventure for all this time! 💚
Welcome Home! Not only was it good to see the two of you, but it was good to see Brian! Glad you had an amazing experience at the zoo! It's cool you got to see the panda before she went back to China. 🐼 🐘🦏🦩😁🐢
This video made me so warm and fuzzy inside.. watching you guys trek back home, visiting the place in which you spent your first night in the bus, and visiting jimmy's brother... such happy feelings. So excited to find out what is next for you guys!! (Hope it's heading north for the summer!)
You two are living the dream! I enjoy how intuitive you both are in your approach to your traveling. Always good to have a plan but half the fun with traveling is allowing yourself the freedom to call an audible and simply be in the moment. Thanks for allowing us to share in your journey and live vicariously through your experiences on the road and in the van. Many thanks!
Dang!! You guys made some progress on your trip!! I was curious what your next adventures were going to be after we went our separate ways. It was awesome seeing Jimmys brother! I’m glad you were able to make it back to South Carolina!!
Thanks Cory!! It's been really nice getting back to our home state for the first time in a while. 😄 Thanks for helping us break up the super long drive, we can't wait for your next video to see what you've been up to! 💚
Aww thank you!! 🥰 I’m really enjoying it too, to be honest 😄 It’s been a lot of fun to hang out with family again. It really has been too long! (also, Jimmy says thank you! 😊)
I always find it Fuzzy inside when watching your videos. "You 2 just rock my socks". Just keep on believing and staying positive. Regards with love from South Africa 🇿🇦.
We moved to SC from Massachusetts exactly a year ago. We have a van but mostly weekend trips as we’re both working full time. If you have any ideas or tips for weekend trips in the SC area let us know.
When my wife and visited Memphis we spent the day at Graceland. The zoo was the better choice but we grew up singing “Stay Off My Blue Surde Shoes”😀. Great video guys 👏
Hi guys really nice video i loved the journey in pancake and guess what i,'m all caught up. I have really enjoyed your journey from the start and i look forward to what comes next. Have a nice rest guys.
I've been thinking about the whole time change thing. I'll be heading from the west coast back to VT in late April/early May, and not looking forward to losing an hour every couple days. I'm thinking Jimmy's body is sore from driving because the Promaster seats are not well suited for tall people. It's been one of the VERY few advantages of being as short as I am. 😄 Welcome home!!
So cool. I can feel you heading this way. We’re up a few mile in blythewood. Our truck is about out of the shop and we’re planning a trip out west within the next month or so. We hope your time here goes well.
Thank you for taking us to the zoo with you!!! That was so fun! It was really fun to see all the places that you stayed in your bus, when you first started out.
Thanks for bringing us along. You two always do so many amazing things. My old dog kind of looks like that lion and the bear together. A collar would slip right off so he wears a light weight harness when we go for a walk. I love zoos. Nice brother. See you on your next visit. From Central Oklahoma.
Thank you for your video of Ya Ya. I wanted to go see her but we live in San Antonio. I read she may leave by April 7th or sooner. So very unlikely we can make it out there. You happen to catch an historic cross of paths in your lives with Ya Ya. Embrace the moment.
That's what it's all about You're supposed to have fun guys You're not supposed to have a time limit There is no time limit You're supposed to just drive and when you get there you get there
I 💯% agree with the Flamingo smell comment as the stink overrides their beauty... in every zoo I've ever been to. Glad to see y'all so happy to be back in SC too! ❤🚐☮
Couldnt have gone through Memphis without visiting Beale St....Upon retirement BB Kings on Beale St and NOLA was my retirement vacation in our new motorhome....
Oh wow!! Little Rock is where I was born and raised! If that Wal-Mart is the one I'm thinking of, the house I lived in is just a few blocks away from there. Also, y'all drove right past my house now, on your way across AR to Memphis. I wished I'd known, would've loved to say hi in person. 😊
Yay!!! I wish y'all would do a meet-up sometime while you're home! Any plans on where you're going after spending some time at home??? Glad y'all are back this side of the Mississippi!!!! Much love from SC, Jane❤🙏 Loved the zoo stop! ❤ Natalie looked extra pretty in this one! 🐼
Thanks Jane! We're happy to be back home for a bit! We usually try to follow the nice weather so we might head up north next! (but that could always change! 😂) Thanks so much for the love and support! 💚😄
When I first seen the title of this video my first thought was “They are going home to plan a wedding”! 😂 if so don’t forget we want to see the wedding!
Isn't the whole point of your expedition, to travel and see the country?? So whyyy be hard on yourselves for stopping to see a zoo or whatever you want to see? I mean if you just drive straight through to whatever your end destination is, what's the point?? Might as well just stay in So. Carolina and drive around and around the block??? Right? Take time to smell the roses in this life bby's!!! To notice all of the wonder and beauty that this world has to offer and rushing through life, only serves to miss all of the good stuff!!! Thats my fifty cents worth and I'm sticking to it!!! Safe and fruitful travels, sweethearts!!!! Sending much love and big fat hugs!!! 🍃😍🤗🍃👁👁🍃🤔🤓🍃
When I saw the title, all I could think about was when forest Gump said " Im tired I think I'm gonna go home"😂 y'all inspire me to get out and blow like leaf.. good luck with all your up and coming adventures
You really covered some ground in a short time is there an agenda. Nice to see Brian again pretty sure last time we saw him during the Texas Wedding Week! Have Fun seeing Friends in S/C & recharging the batteries for your next Adventure! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Thank you!! Good memory, I think you're right about seeing Brian in Texas 😄 We're thankful to have the chance to visit family; we'll be back on the road soon enough! 💚
Wow, a lot of miles. You were making me tired watching. The Memphis Zoo was cool, then you got to Atlanta Georgia and I think I told you I was stationed at Ft. Gordon in Augusta for lineman school and then to Columbus for Jump School for 2 weeks. Then on to North Carolina to the 82nd Airborne Division in 1972. Thanks for the ride and enjoy your stay with your family. As always, "Enjoy The Adventure." 🤠👍✌Oh, I forgot I went to Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta and Underground Atlanta. It's closed off now but it was cool.
I just came across y’all’s channel! Love it!! (But did y’all say you worked for the Home Depot SSC??? Cuz I work in a store in Greenville, SC) keep up the awesome videos!
I just found your channel! We have the same exact van, I love your layout, making us rethink a few things! I was wondering where you got the front Windshield, driver and passenger window covers? I went through your build videos but couldn’t find it. Are they magnet? Thank you!
Hola 👋 from New Mexico 🌶️😊...Thanks for sharing....Love the zoo...Is some one pressuring you to have you drive so much in a day? It's like I watch people who live in vans or bus that do you tube video s are pressured to hurry to get thru 50 states the fastest, all you get to see is road and really don't get to know the state or the people that live there. Just wondering because I love your videos and if you want to spend 2 or 3 days at a zoo you should be able to.
I see Shelly's nest in the comment. But, technically, Jimmy, did you take Natalie home? Shelly's nest is mobile. Then boom, your brother cooked you two a delicious meal. Love Tofu.
I LOVED this video because I too am a zoo freak and this did NOT disappoint …..a lion with a paw as big my head….LOL….as you got closer and we saw the cartoon Pancake making it’s way to your home I started getting butterflies…..”if only there was someone who could take over driving” 😂😂😂…your brother is AWESOME….and he cooks!….great job guys and WELCOME HOME♥️♥️♥️♥️
I love zoos and I don’t get to go very often. I used to live near one and my ex husband and I would go all the time. It is a great lazy day, stroll and relaxing day. I’m glad that you two spend some good quality time there. It will be a stop to remember for a long time.
I have made that drive from Memphis to central South Carolina (Sumter) many many times...best time was under 9 hours....My parents retired to S.C. after my dad retired from the Air Force. SC is too HOT for me too humid and too dang many gnats! I've lived there twice and am much happier in the great northwest!
