We're really glad to have such an awesome and supportive community 😊 We really appreciate it! 💚 Jimmy and I took the next few days off taking it easy and honestly feel so much better now! The first few days were definitely the worst, but I think that's behind us now!

If you make it inland of California. I'm in the central valley. Where all the Oranges grow. My mom & I have a nice driveway to park in, water to fill your tank up & electricity to charge up if needed. Also a clean shower. I would suggest the monumental giant redwoods just up the mountain from us, but there is snow. Might be able to get up there.

it may be too late, but if you're in the Napa Sonoma area...there's a great Museum in Santa Rosa the Charles M Shultz museum ( of Charley Brown Fame). WELL worth the visit! Also Bodega Bay on the coast is where the movie THE BIRDS was made! and there's a great research Lab there as well (My daughter did her Phd work there) that's worth a visit and the views of the Pacific are AWESOME

Catalina a must. Morrow Bay. Hurst Castle, Solvang, Any and all Missions along the coast. Alvera Street, Alcatraz just to name a few.

Best get well tip, is Sleep & Rest. It's healing just to walk barefoot, along the beaches. Breathing in the Ocean air.Your on the west coast, so take advantage of the many Farmer Markets out there. A great quick recipe "Peanut Butter Ramen Bowl 🍜 ", (you can make it basic or add additional ingredients). Buy those Ramen Noodles packs. Throw away the chemical process spice /flavoring packets inside. Instead, Use chicken / beef broth, or Ramen / Pho broth. There are so many RU-vid recipes out there. Many Vanlifer vloggers has done a version of this recipe as well. There are many places to visit around outside San Francisco Area, without need for wine tasting.

The overlook you stayed at in Sausalito, overlooking the houseboats on the bay is awesome! FYI, the old classic Otis Redding song Sitting on the dock of the Bay was written on one of those houseboats when Otis visited way back when. Glad you enjoyed yourselves, even while sick. ❤.

never drink any water from the mountains, ull never know there is residential or dump site nearby. also boil and filter it 1st if decided for drinking.

Glad your both feeling better ...no need to apologize ....at all Your spot next to the GG bridge ...I'm totally a local (75 yrs. young) I go there to take a break sometimes ...and watch the tourists marveling at the bridge... I'm recognizing all your shots ...I know it's not possible ...but I'd love to show you all the cool places to check out .that you'd never find on your own ...can you name the towns or beaches etc where you are or planning on going to ...it's funny to watch your channel and see my stomping grounds on my phone Try driving through some of the local towns... Mill valley Corta Madera Larkspur San Anselmo Fairfax Anyway have fun take your time Oh ..in Fairfax there is a van building and repair place in case you need any repairs or anything ❤️🙏

Hi Jimmy/Natalie, the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge view point, you could stay there overnight for free at the parking lot. The only drawback is you have to drive from south end across the bridge to the overlook area.

Glad you are feeling better. Onward and upward! I had a little sinus thing before Thanksgiving, didn’t feel bad at all. I took a Covid test because we had family visiting and it was positive. I was shocked! I had none of the standard symptoms. No idea where I picked it up from and thank God none of the family caught it. There’s just so much going around. Looking forward to your next CA installment.

Just discovered this channel so I’m watching some of the older ones. It’s scary being sick when you’re in a strange place, but at least you had each other. A few years ago I spent the night in front of that Coast Guard station at the foot of the bridge. I’m a lot less stealthy than you and no one bothered me. Things change fast!

Sorry you kids got sick.😭 We're fighting the same "bug" I think.🤧 Enjoy CA and just be aware of your surroundings. We've "vanned" around S. Cal. over the years. It has become much more "RV Unfriendly" over the past few years. IF you get to San Diego check iOverlander for the spots near the Airport and on the Bay...."Harbor Island Street Parking" 🤗

Jimmy and Natalie sorry your first 48 hours in Ca. you didn't feel good. Glad you are feeling better. Have to say you two are very considerate saying you are not going wine tasting because of being potentially contagious. The flu is going around the bay area. We live in the area and lots of people have had the flu. The coast is very pretty and if in San Francisco you should find some fresh crab as I saw your list that had imitation crab written on it. Not while by the coast 🙂 Don't know if you have been along the Oregon coast but that is beautiful also. Wish we would have been able to meet you two in person. We are retired and love watching you kids as we call you. Yes you are kids to us. We hope you both feel back to 100% real soon. Take care and enjoy the views along the coast. Are you guys going to travel the coast to Monterey and then down towards Pismo Beach? Safe travels and enjoy the coastal areas..

When you head to Napa, make sure you visit St Helena , and Calistoga also.....And get you a GOTTS BURGER....You will pass right by it on Hwy 29 and it will be packed !!! Take the tram at Sterling Vineyards winery and make sure you visit Berringer also....I never do not hit these places when we go to Napa....Travel safe, be well...
