From a purely gameplay-orriented perspective, this is my favorite map in all of my campaigns! I really like that it teaches the player a mechanic that even I didn't think about until I made it: Stealing wards with Control Magic. Not having Priests, makes stealing Healing Wards very important It also encourages you to juggle mana between your Blood Mage and your other units. Especially since 2 of them have powerful abilities, but they don't regenerate any mana on their own It introduces the Shadow Hunter hero and features the Big Bad Voodoo ultimate, that is not seen in the official campaigns at all. In the original map, there were supposed to be some enemy Priestesses of the Moon, but they were cut for some reason. That's why I added the Shadow Hunter And this version changes the resource you need to collect and has a unique Shredder replacement to help you collect it
Its a nice touch how you've switched from the vanilla races for this campaign. I think the Priestesses were cut because they'd be indistinguishable from Tyrande. Even skin swapping wouldn't do much since the model is 90% white tiger
@@mullerpotgieter I did think of that, but that can't be it since Liches and Kel'Thuzad would also have that problem since they have the exact same model. Or Mountain Kings and Muradin
@@xetanth87 i had a thought, inst tyrande the only priestess of the moon that appears in the campaign, similar to illian being the only demon hunter and mieav being the only warden, maybe thats why?

@@epicfail3167 Cenarius is after all a Keeper, so I wanted him to be replaced by a hero that embodies one of the Warcraft III hero classes while also being a "demigod"
Seeing a Great Hall Swordsman: "Boss the building is spiky" Grom: "Just tear it down, boi" Swordsman: *Knowing Grom isn't a melee attacker* "Yeah, sure..." (Dunno man I think "Let my flame and our archers handle this" would be a better respond for Grom lol) Encounter with Furbolgs Grom: "They'd be a good source for mana" Also Grom: *Entire mana nearly depleted and doesn't even cast Siphon Mana* Zarramoth's sword! The gnome extractor's voice caught me off guard!
I put the hint there to tell the player of the mana they can steal. One funny thing I realized while watching people's playthroughs of my campaigns is that 80% of the time, they don't listen to the hints
Grom, Thrall and the other orcs had some voice effect applied to their lines to make them sound deeper before being put into the game Because of this, it's harder for the AI to replicate their voices
@@xetanth87 True, but it's not like the AI has done a perfect job up to now either. But I actually meant that it has its own kind of gritty nastiness to it that I really like. Was pleased to note that all of the AI lines for Grom have the same menace
It would be fun if furbolgs were tuskars or magnataurs, or perhaps even ogres, but still its very nice to watch. I may even play this campaign In future
Now, here's an interesting thought-experiment: what would happen if Kael'thas found out that phase smith Karax was made of mana, and likewise, Karax discovered that Kael'thas was comprised of solarite?
Smh, Nral, if they are *high* elves, they shouldn't have spellbreakers and siphon mana: blood elves had to learn these abilities after the destruction of the sunwell to sate their thirst for magic 🤓
First of all, Nral didn't make it, so you can't be mad at him. You need to be mad at me 😎 This is a completely different universe. Blood Elves don't exist, High Elven Spellbreakers exist, and who's to say a High Elven mage can't siphon mana? This universe doesn't play by the rules of the original universe
Having used Elevenlabs I understand why the creator hasn't, but I almost wish they redubbed all the spoken lines for the game, both for consistency and because the AI output actually sounds pretty good and unique.
I did use 11ai for Exodus and Path. Just didn't get to add lines to Overgrowth and Colonization and Nral made them for his videos, and he agreed to let me use them when I updafe the campaigns
