Had to lookup the details of the sidecar cocktail: "As most cocktail origin tales go, there are a few stories about who mixed up the first sidecar and where it was made. One common story is found in The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks (1948) by David Embury. It says that the drink was developed in a Parisian bistro-likely Harry's New York Bar-during World War I. Another claim attributes the drink to Frank Meier, who worked at the Paris Ritz Hotel around the same time. 2 ounces brandy, cognac, Armagnac, or bourbon 1 ounce premium triple sec 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice Lemon or orange twist, for garnish"

Reginald Denny was a WW1 fighter pilot and later a stunt flyer. He had a very successful business selling airplane models and also radio controlled airplane drones for the US air force.

Magnacolor was an underrated 2 color process that in many ways was superior to the early 2 strip Technicolor. What killed it was that 3 strip, color Technicolor came out in 1934, so Magnicolor died out quickly as an alternative. One of the chief drawbacks of any color photography in the 1930s was that the black and white film stock that received light after being split into separate colors by filters was too insensitive to normal amounts of light. Therefore, up to seven times the amount of light was required for photography boosting movie set temperatures well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit; and consuming utterly vast amounts of energy to power the lighting. Thanks for this rare gem!
