Hi Francine, thank you for being an advocate and Chris's voice in reading this for us. I've watched many documentaries as I can locate on Dying With Dignity and found this article spot on with those who face this situation. I live in a very conservative State which I doubt will ever have it on the ballot. Right now I know of two people who will take matters in their own hands which will leave their families devastated and traumatized. Because they are dying, no autopsies will be done. Those in extreme, chronic pain do not deserve such despair. This may be to much for many to read or understand. As a caretaker for my loved ones and friends I have witnessed each passing in their unique diseases. My wish is that everyone keep an open mind and heart. Much love, Francine and Chris. ❤🌻🫂
Interesting article, and your husband definitely has the voice to narrate audio books. I'm going to research this topic a bit, as I don't feel qualified to comment intelligently. I wouldn't want you to lose the right to choose your time and way of death if that gives you comfort. You've mentioned you have more fear of the process of dying than actual death. 💕
That is true Karen. I find dying to be very scary, but I feel confident about what awaits us. I think most of us want to pass in our sleep, right? Maybe it will be that easy. ❣️
Hello Francine! I too have been dealing with OC for years. Original diagnosis was in 2017 with recurrence after four years. I now have scattered peritoneal metastasis. After many chemo treatments and hipec surgery, am now in a clinical trial. My question: are you currently in treatment and are you not a candidate for clinical trial or other options?
