I literally screamed when you said 4 YEARS! I still remember you moving there 😮 I can't wait to get along with both of you on this new journey ❤ So happy for you ❤
As someone who wouldnt eat or sleep until I had packed everything up, at least 6 months in advance for fear i would run out of time... watching you procrastinating so much and talking instead of packing was making me panic 😆
Tip for anyone moving!! Get a floor plan of your new place, and make a scaled drawing of it. Measure all your furniture and such, scale and draw them, and then cut them out and place them onto your scaled floor plan. Genuinely so helpful for determining the best arrangement for rooms! Made our life so much easier moving in as we knew where everything was going!
It’s not a shock you got emotional! You’ve been there for 4 years and so much has happened in that time and in that house! Congratulations on your new home! 🎉 I’m sure you’ll be making new memories there in no time and will have it feeling more homely and cosy again 🙂
I'm so excited for you and Nick, but moving out of any space is always bitter sweet. It's more the memories you made and saying goodbye to an era that makes it so emotional. Ive been following you since the flat and I'm so excited to see this next chapter in your life.
I’m sure this is so bitter sweet for you and Nick..I know it’s been a good and bad 4 years, with a lot of highs and lows..and I know how much a house can hold those memories but just remember that those memories and moments are WITH you! The house doesn’t make the memories..the ones who are in it do! Congratulations that y’all found a place that you both love and can call home. And I pray for all the good blessings in this new home to come your way Jazz! You and Nick deserve it all! ❤
It is lovely to see you so happy and excited. I hope your new home will be a happy one. I hope you and Nick will make many happy memories. I hope you will have plenty of space to put your pole back up.
OMG, this couldn't have come at a better time😍 I'm moving myself in two weeks and love to have moving vlogs on in the background while I'm packing. So perfect, and I am very happy for you guys🥰
I've followed you for soooo long! I've loved watching all the stages of your growth. I'm so proud of you. I hope this is house embraces you and Nick with all love and luck you both deserve.❤
Omg, I remember when yall moved in there & then you deciding to decorate because your house building didn't work out and yall were going to be there a little while longer. I remember you hanging up the plants in your bedroom. I totally just cried with you when you got emotional. I'm so very excited to see your new place and see how you decorate it. Congrats on your new place! 💕
I think I'd try to leave the bedroom wallpaper. It looks so nice, it might be appreciated by the next person. If you tell the homeowner it is peel and stick, they might agree to leaving it.
So excited for you! I know it’s random but I saw you at my workplace a few weeks ago 🍔 and all I could do was take your plates, I was too anxious to say hi even though I was excited to see you 🤣🤍
Jazzy… I understand it’s emotional, BUT you’re getting what could be your long-term-maybe-forever home! You can paint and do as you wish! Now that’s enough to dry up those tears and get excited! I’m proud of both of you and super happy for both of you! 🩷🩵
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so excited for you and Nick!! I know though that even though that space was to be temporary but you still have a ton of memories!!! I hate packing, moving and unpacking!! I had to do it once during a snowstorm that turned into a blizzard and we had no power in our new place for 5 days because of the snow!! So anything short of that should be a breeze for you guys!!! Again congrats!! Love ya!
I’ve recently bought a flat and I get the keys on the 24th of May. I’ve lived with my parents for about 29 years so I know it’s a big change but I’m so excited. I’m still packing things and I’m just thinking to myself “How on earth do I have so much stuff?” 🙈😂 I’m determined for my flat not to be cluttered though😅
Pack each room individually have bin bags declutter as you go and don’t buy massive boxes or over fill them or they are too heavy , any screws put in zip lock bags with labels and all the tools you used to dismantle in that bag and put in a moving box with kettle mugs tooth brush etc and pack a 3 day over night bag with all your essentials and buy a few things you can eat without cooking snacks drinks cutlery are essential and a cleaning box toilet roll bleach cleaning spray wipes tea towel
We are relocating on 15th june, i started packing boxes last week - i have already cried twice at the amount to do, so I have much respect for this last min packing! And i get it, it doesnt matter how exciting where you're going to is, it's still saying goodbye to a chunk of your life!
Congratulations!! But omg I’m 7 mins in and the amount of stuff you’re saying you have to do in three days is STRESSING me outtttt lmaoooo , like when you started talking about the paint I had to pause and write this to recover haha 😅😂😂
@@jazzybvlogsI’ve reached the end now haha and it looked like you managed do quite a bit so well done! And as you said you’ll be staying in the house for a little bit after, so at least if anything is left you can always bring a little in the car! Excited to see the progress goes on the other days ❤
So happy for you both, new memories to make, as for packing you will do it, I was 6 months pregnant and had a 2 year old when we moved over 20 years ago, we moved ourselves too, moved from a 3 bed house to a 2 bed house, but we did it, when pushed in to a corner you do it, as for the drawers taken out and put in van as is was a game changer for us, make things as easy as possible, xx
The longer you live in a space, the more you accrue. We have lived in our house for 25 years and plan to move from the Left coast in the US to pretty close to the East coast. I dread packing up our house, but the fact is, we have outgrown it and need more space. I love seeing your process and any tips you may have found. Congratulations!
Aw jas! You’ve had so many memories in that house and you can always look back on it if you feel like you need to. You’re going to create so many more memories in your new home too though 🥰🩷
Moving into a new place is so strange and the weird excitement/sadness combo is real. But it’s exciting times for you! Also I have never been so stressed watching a video 😂. I’m also a procrastinator so I get it but I was willing you to just get it done 😂😂.
My husband and I just moved into a new house… he took care of everything like finding movers, maids, telling me what docs to sign, etc. I took care of packing because I moved around as a child and can pack in my sleep.. I started packing a room a day 5 days before we moved and I got it done. He packed his crap so that helped too lol 😂 have Nick pack anything that is his (clothes, technology items, etc)
I'm beyond happy for you both, but Omg!! I yelled at my phone quite a few times to stop procrastinating! 😂😂.... Though if I'm honest, I procrastinated too when I moved from Arizona to Texas. 😂😂
Awww I’m sorry jazzy it’s hard to let go of the place you have now because of all the memories and everything but there will be better days and this moment will feel bittersweet for you once your in your new home. Let your tears rolls it’s okay I’ve done it with every move I’ve had, it’s part of the journey.❤
Awww I’m so happy for you and nick jazz, I as well have been subscribed and watching your videos since you lived in your flat, and you never fail to make anyone laugh or smile, good luck in your new home, and don’t worry about being emotional it’s completely understandable 🫶🏻xx
Hi Jazzy & Nick Hope your move goes ok. Don't worry about getting emotional, it happens to me, especially when you think of your special moments. When your in your new home, be making more happy memories. Patricia ❤
I know this is super late, but maybe it will help someone. A good way to pack a mirror or fairly flat pictures is to leave a box flat and tape up one end. Slide your mirror in between what is now a box envelope and tape the other end.
Happy to see you found a new home! I hope you had all the stuff in boxes in time. No wonder you were emotional, you had that place while having one of your happiest and saddest time of your life with your little one ❤ That makes that flat to be always a special one for you. Looking forward to watch you decorate the new home in the future. Ps. Packing your fragile knick-knacks with your towels and linens shortens your packing time a lot.
Congrats! I have used the mismatched socks to wrap around things that are breakable. I am like you and procrastinate when it comes to things like this.
I can second the kitchen taking a while to pack up. It took 3 people (myself, my mother and her bestie) about 6 hrs to pack our kitchen last week. We're using a temp kitchen in the garage at the moment (fortunatly we've had a Belfast sink put in the garage with a shower head tap for washing the dogs so we've got water and somewhere to plumb in the washing machine. My Mum is a careworker and needs access to the washing machine due to how often her uniforms need washing, especially in warm weather and when some clients have less than clean floors.) because we're getting a new kitchen and packing the kitchen up was STRESSFUL. We're renovating the whole house (including rewiring, sub floors, plastering in most rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, new window glass, new interior doors,, skirting and architraves, new floors, fireplace putting in, new radiators+ immersion heater, ceilings down and redone in at least 5 rooms etc) and I am not looking forward to packing the rest of the house. I refuse to use the adhesive from command hooks and instead use gorilla mounting tape and have found it comes off kitchen cupboards, fridge etc much easier and a butter knife works great to jimmy them off. I've never used them on walls bc most of our walls are presently papered and thus they don't stick, but on non plaster surfaces it does seem to work. Gorilla tape also works better on a wood grain effect surface like some kitchens. Tip for anybody in the UK needing to move. B&M and Home Bargins will give you boxes if you say you're moving (0r at least our local stores will). So will Lidl and potentially pets at home if I heard my mother's bestie right. Tesco (or at least my local store) do not. That's who we've used so far.
Congratulations! Me and my family have moved house from my childhood home. We moved back in October but are finally having a house warming tomorrow. So happy for you yet so glad I’ve moved from that tiny house 🏠 😅
So happy you've found a house you love. About 20 yrs ago I moved, my sister moved, then my Mum moved one after the other. The thought of moving again scares me alot lol
Awesome congrats on the new house..Moving what a nightmare ,all the packing etc, though very much worth it in the end ,when you get to unpack it all in your new home.. xx
from being in you bedroom at home to your 3rd place thats your own home ..good luck to you both cant wait to see the new place all the best love and hugs xxx
Congratulations on getting your house. I remember you being heartbroken that you were not able to build. Moving is a pain. My last move was 6 years ago and that was after 5 years of being in the place......somehow I have a lot more stuff now. Possibly one move left when we finally buy/build our house.....but that is a distance future. Looking forward to your new journey in your home xxxxx
We moved house in the middle of the summer holidays, and had to throw a party for our 2 year old the 2 days after we got the keys, had to pack the whole house and had 5 days to get out of our old house. We hired movers and they had to pull-out. So really hope this goes to plan, but it definitely can be done.
My husband and I moved a couple years ago, and I must have PTSD from the ordeal, because your procrastination was giving me anxiety!!!! Nonetheless, congratulations on your new house! Can’t wait to see how you make it into your home!
It’s crazy to think that I’ve been following your life through at least 3 places. I remember us decorating this one! I moved last month while having covid so I feel for ya. Moving sucks!!! I broke down and hired movers. Unfortunately the things they packed didn’t get labeled so I still don’t know where quite a few things are - like my command strips! I have a whole bag of them somewhere. Hopefully I’ve found a new home for everything within the next few weeks. I’m very sick of living out of boxes.
Congratulations! I’m so excited for you and Nick! However, from a real Type A person, I’m 8 minutes in and almost had to skip forward because that list of things to do in 2.5 days was stressing me!! Love you and good luck in your new home!! Edit: Ok, coming back after I’ve finished the video to say I feel much better now that I know you’re staying in the house after the 3 days! Hahaha love it!
We just moved house a month ago and while I packed bits and pieces over a week or two, the majority of it was done the day before and the day of. Moves are always going to be stressful, whether you've got weeks to prepare or not. Hope the new place works out well for you both!
First, Congratulations on you getting a house. That's awesome! I can't believe you've been there for 4 years, time really flew by! I'm in the U.S. and absolutely love command strips. 😊 Cannot wait for the next vlog, hang in there on moving, it can be pretty emotional, but exciting as well. Love your videos. ❤❤🫂
I only ever wear mismatched socks. I mean they always kinda fit together, like I buy sets of socks similar in colour and pattern and then switch them up. So if one goes missing there's always enough to find a "match". :D Drove my boyfriend nuts the first few months of living together, since he's always doing the laundry. But I told him I'd fold my clothes myself, so now he's just a tad confused sometimes. :D
Omg…. Ur procrastination has me panicking! 😂😂talking instead of packing and I feel myself about to pass out! 😳😳😳😂 I’m like you have no time to talk to us just pack!!!!
Great news about your new house you two. I know it is hard to leave the one you're in at the moment luv. That will disappear when you are in your new home and you start decorating it.
