I legit was going to say Casey passed the vibe check before seeing your comment- she definitely fit in with them super well and it made the flow of the video really nice
They definitely picked the right person to show them how things work. Casey got along with Courtney and Damien and didn't take herself too seriously, while still remaining professional.
This was so fun, and Casey matched your energy so well! It didn't feel awkward like it usually does when I watch RU-vidrs interact with everyday people lmaO
@@Dudeman9339 Sure, but that wouldn't really work if they were with someone who took themselves too seriously or didn't vibe at all with the Smosh brand of comedy. I'm sure there are plenty of peanut farmers who would partake in a video like this but not all of them are gonna be comfortable with the amount of goofiness.
Farmers are the true backbone of society as a whole. Both sides of my family have come from long lines of farming and it just makes me appreciate them so much more.
@@UCeagle79 remember when they were working in donut factory and their "supervisor" was so pissed off at their goofiness, that everyone cringed so hard watching it
Seeing a new ep of this series is proof to me that Smosh is getting back to normal in terms of content. A lot of fav series were obviously stopped due to COVID, and while we're still dealing with it 18 months later, its cool to see that we may be getting more of our fav Smosh content in the near future!
I'm pretty sure Twitch is the real cause tbh, they could have done so much more if they didn't need to spend half the week streaming and preparing for it.
Same!!! I was so sad when they ended it after 4 episodes. Hopefully, they keep I going. I wanna see them do a "day jobs" where they go to a tattoo shop 😂😬
As the descendant of generational farmers who still live on the land to this day, there is a lot of reverence for peanuts and their restorative properties for depleted soil. Super cool video, thanks for choosing to work with not only an ethical sponsor, but one that is pretty damn cool over all.
I genuinely mean this as one of my best friends was a farmer for close to 50 years before finding she had cancer and needed to sell as she didn’t want to be more than a small private provider to local restaurants... thank you for you and your family for one of the most under appreciated and essential traditions our country thrives to this day on the back of. Farmers have my whole respect. Blessings to you and yours!
I love this new direction for day jobs. Less of a competition and more of a celebration of actual day jobs that help make the world go around. Great job Damien and Courtney!
Court and Damien are amazing interviewers/show hosts in this vid, energy's just flowing and so is their chemistry with their subject. Also loving the update in the format + incorporation of a gaming segment! 💙💙💙
Love the angle of smosh out in the field bringing their brand of fun to everyday lives and sharing an informative fun look at the world they live in. More please 🙏
Courtney's childlike awe of everything is the"old" Courtney I love, and her grunting "YEEEEE" while attempting to pull up the peanut roots is pure Courtney". The number of comments should convince you to give us more!
I never put a thought into how peanuts grow! This was cool! I pictured them dangling from a little bush and not grown in the ground like potatoes but it makes sense since they're not in the same family as tree nuts! Cool!
Casey absolutely made this video. This would be such a boring random idea for a video but Casey's energy and sense of humor worked well with Damien and Courtney to made this work
Never did I think my job and this channel would collide but here we are. Now when I teach my students about peanut farming I can use a Smosh video. Thank you Smosh for your educational video
Really glad to see Smosh bring this back & we learn from these vids too. Ever looking forward to more of these. Seemed more intimate with only 2 members participating too. Less chaos as in past episodes of Day Jobs. Very well done Smosh Team!!! ❤️✌🏻
This reminded me of shows from when I was a kid, like Reading Rainbow and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, where the hosts would go to a factory or somewhere and teach us how things are made. So wholesome, educational, and adorable. I would definitely watch more of this. 💜
The way this episode has been filmed, edited and all put together is Awesome! If there would have been a segment where cooking with peanuts was involved this show straight up could be on any cooking channel on telivision!
This was a really fun video to enjoy!!! Casey really enjoy working with Courtney and Damien. They learned about how peanuts are made. Damien got to go back home and Courtney found the pursuit in peanut happiness!!! Need to do more day jobs in the future!!!
Damien and Courtney just being straight into it is so awesome. This is some next level educational stuff. I could totally see a Smosh and Emily’s wonder lab colab for some kids content.
This was so wholesome, I love Damien and Courtney together. Damien rolling in the peanut pile I instantly was like “yup would also do that” lol please do more
Court is such a good teacher and is so patient with the game, Damien is clearly so interested in learning whatever he can and having the best time, and Casey is just here for a good time, and is grateful to teach them about her farm and her passion. This is a good trio 🥰
I'm so happy Day Jobs is back!!! I loved these, but I hope they have more people next episode, because I loved having everyone compete for who's the best at that job.
Courtney looks so cute when she is demonstrating her farm in SV. Meanwhile Casey and Damien look a lot like parents who are trying to be proud of their daughter lol
It’s so awesome to see this! I was born and raised in georgia and this is literally all you see for the most part is farms! Y’all did awesome and seemed like y’all had such a good time!!
I lived in Georgia for 25ish years, just moved this year to a different state. Makes me miss it a little 🙂 i didn't know Damien lived their, too! I loved this episode of Day Jobs!! 😃
this was great! i hope you guys do more stuff like this, it reminds me of the show 'dirty jobs', i would love to see more smosh members go learn about different jobs and whatnot!
Love Day Jobs! Great to see it back! More please! Thank you Smosh for making my day everytime you post! I appreciate all of you and respect/love all of the workers in front the camera/behind the scenes!
Yes. Day Jobs is Back! This is literally one of my 2 favorite shows on this channel, the other being Field Trip. I hope that someday that would be revived as well, after this pandemic
Reminds me when I helped my farmer buddy harvesting corn. He had me hop in his custom trailer, with an augers at the bottom, and a 2x4 that I stood on when unloading.
I’m so glad Day Jobs is back! I honestly LOVEDDDDDDDDD this series and was upset with the lost potential when the show just stopped…. But now it’s back!! Can’t wait to see what else you guys are down to try out! 💜💜
