Whats the point in rushing to th14 if u only have lvl 1 defences, its not like everything just turns in 14 days upgrades once your there.n+ rushing takes away so much fun of the game. Learning new strategies for each town hall level is the fun part. Not mindlessly spamming e-dragons at th14

Depends whether it's a main account for casual player or an alr account for a rusher / competitive player trying to max new accounts as soon as possible. There is a different use case for both but I'm with you, I never saved magic items at lower levels

Wasting money? It's like $6 a month. You get a gold/elixir and a dark elixir gem, multiple hero books, fighting/spell books, troop time and cost reductions, resources, potions etc.. Sure, the items many not be perfectly efficient, but you will build you base and level troops/heroes WAY faster with the gold pass. Much better value than the specials they sell.

@@UNITED_STATES._______________8 i work 40 hours job..live with my parents though..im just got to TH 9 and upgraded the first walls of the 2 completely..all 250 to level 9..had to dump my treasury a couple times to get it all complete..then went into finishing my final 2 storages..storages maxed and sitting at 8 mil a piece and 105k dark..never have an issue..and cannot even fathom buying the pass from day one..id literally would have no idea what id even do with it..i think once i get to th 11..maybee th 10..ill start using them strategically..mostly for a wall induction..but ill probably just manage it after the end of the month when ill have like 38 million to dump into it.. not to mention once i upgrade my camps and spells and racks..ill probably go into upgrading the new buildings..so ill be throwin in a 10 or 20 million while i upgrade the small stuff..so really not needed th 9 or lower..I may however get it for TH 10..just one..just to help with the walls..cuz i imagine that is gonna be a slog without it..just one though..then i go back to normal play.. game subscriptions arent really my thing lol..and i dont need any of the books..as upgrades are still too short..id want at least a week or so..7 8 days..and the potions dont help in the lab no more really..maybe some builder potions for new buildings..but most of the new buildings are like hours now..and the pass only gives a piddly one potion..so yeah ehhh..sparingly in strategic manners.

Yeah but lab is easy to max anyways except if you're rushed then it's going to be hell of a pain upgrading heroes and maxing de troops for an example

I bought the gold pass th6 and maxed out the banks and was able to go th9 with max walls, max army because of the loot. Now I understand the argument of "efficiency", but I felt like this really boosted me past the boring parts and got me to upgrading my heroes instead of being stuck with max dark elixir 24/7. I do admit I'm not buying it right now simply cause I'm th10 and only got like 4d upgrades and the event got me covered in the sense of builder potions so about to go th11 max army. For those who are thinking about it on a lower TH level, this was my benefit (yes my base is now rushed though)

If someone is lets say a th10 because he likes the cosmetics of it and wants to push for a world record kr something the magic item offers jim maximum effiency for his/her curent situation. I also feel rhat regardless of the fact that a book of building is best used in a building that has more than 14 days supercell somerimes have events where you get these books sk I say dont think ahead rather think in your current situation and use that book of building for a upgrade that is slowing you down from getting to the next townhall rather than leaving it. The game is not built jjst for someone to be effeicien but for everykne to have fun

I'm TH11 and buy the gold pass, even though it wouldn't be "useful" to use some books/hamers I still use them. You can't stack them and here and there you'll be getting some. Not using them just to wait for months if not years to use them if I ever get to TH14 seems more useful to me. For me the game is supposed to be fun, so if I can skip a week for the barrack to upgrade immediately I will definitely use one.

That is quite true to some extent,but even if you rush to th14,you will not get to reap the Goldpass benefit in the early days especially book of building since most of your building upgrade are below than 14 days due to rushing,the most you can do is getting full storage of magic item from goldpass and then skip buying the next goldpass until you certain that you will have couples of building/lab upgrade that are gonna take more than 14 days,which is still gonna take you 1-2 month to be able to use it

You can easily counteract that by doing army camps or one of the many pet shop levels. Granted it still isnt the 16 day ones but its better use than the 4 to 7 days you skip at below TH11 or 12.

Yeah so to counteract this you just ensure that you have atleast 1 defense or offensive upgrade that is ready to use with your magic item per month. This doesn't take 1-2 month, since you only need it for 1 or 2 building max per month, its actually very easy to achieve! (:

@@bdlegendcoc that is one of the way,to prioritize one builder for one offense/defense building and one lab upgrade(technically it should already be included since the planned lab upgrade would be your main offense.Most people rushing just prioritize all the offense and when it comes to higher level TH,they do not have certain building worthy enough for the book.

Alright, here is my answer, as someone who is incredibly active: Maximizing walls and building together is simple. You just want to put all your builders down and then max your storages, waiting until your next upgrade finishes in order to go to zero gold and elixir (walls and the next upgrade). You can take this process one step further and have all long upgrade except one builder so you can repeat the filling-up of your storages more often with more raiding, using your training potions to a much higher level. I hope this helps!

Since playing at the end of 2013, around townhall 14 is when I started buying gold pass for the first time knowing townhall 15 was coming around the corner very soon and wanted to catch right back up. I have made HUGE progress up in 2 years. The pass is definitely worth every penny at higher townhalls. The lower the townhalls we are the more waisted money we are putting to waste. Awesome video by the way to actually make more people understand.

could you imagine having like 30 mil gold/elix and 300k dark..at 7 or 8 with just a barb king to upgrade..i been playing since mid may..got my first 5 million..was at the end of th 8..couldnt attack anything cuz i was trying to spare my 125k over 80k dark and so on..i couldnt even imagine getting 30 mill that low lol

not accurate. The value in the goldpass is multidimensional. TH11 and above, 100% wroth it - For builder base, you get very valuable runes and farming in builder base is far harder than normal base. -You get a skin -it makes it easier to go to higher TH. -you get 1 gem donation, and I am the main donater to my clan. -Not only it makes the upgrades shorter, it makes them CHEAPER. So, for 5$ that is truly a ton of value. I don't spend money on games almost at all. But I buy GP because there is truly a value for a gamer. I think of it as buying my time. The value is even much higher in the haloween event. I think saying that GP is a waste of money is nonsense. If you play COC, buying GP on your main account is simply logical. Could you get more value for higher TH? sure. Is there still a value for TH 11-13? YES. I don't think getting it is worth it if you are below TH11 or maybe 10.

buying goldpass will reduce your time upgrading ( walls , heroes as well as builder base ) do not look at the days calculation , look at the resource reduction . now calculate how many attacks non gp users have to make to upgrade a building VS GP user , thank you

I always agree with you but I don't get the problem with the pass. You DON'T have to wait on your magic items for the 14 days. If you're th 13 or lower, you will never get the chance to use them if we follow your rule. So just use your books on your maximum time upgrades and just play. You'll save time no matter what with your gold pass. It doesn't have to always be THE MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY thing. I feel it's a terrible advice you're giving this time. Nobody should rush, just enjoy the game and use your magic items to the maximum value on your th level. You DON'T have to always use an item for it's maximum efficiency. It's not all math

Man in 134 days WITH GOLDPASS youre very slow tbh i think fully rushing to th 14/15 and then fixing it is better than strategic mumbo jumbo🤔 the idea here is to ALWAYS kepp the townhall down and USE BOBs on long th upgrades (>=10days)

I am th14 will be th15 in 11 days and yes i am fully rushed and my main buildings are close to max like cc max for th14 also lab and have a book of building and everything for them both as soon as i get 15 also army camp maxed for th14 just 4 important things to focus on heroes, lab, pethouse and pets and yeah my defence are all th10 level except eagle is lvl 5 and i will do defense after my heroes and offense coz I don’t care about defense and attack is more important

@@shahangilani that is called strategic rushing, prioritizing some upgrades over other upgrades, like normal rushing is just placing down buildings without upgrading them and only upgrading your town hall. Strategic rushing is prioritizing major defenses (inferno, X-bow, eagle artillery, double canon, geared up archer tower, multimortar, air defense, monolith and scattershot) rushing your th so you can get better value out of your magic items, maxing cc, maxing the units you use in the lab, maxing the lab itself, maxing the storages, upgrading the mines and pumps and keeping your heroes down at all time so you can get the best magic item value out of them

the gold pass doesn't skip 30.6 days skipped per month. It gives you a 20% reduction in builder times and thus a 25% increase in overall progress boost, thus it speeds up total progress by 25% (not including magic items from it).

So let's do some quick math: Normally in 1 month you get 180 days of build time with 6 builders Gold pass gives you a realistic boost of 17%. 17% is just over 1 in 6, so you get an "extra 6th" of build time per month. 1/6 of 180 days is 30 days

True true but saying 30 days is misleading imo cause it sounds like "in one month you get 30 extra days of progress aka +100% progress" but in reality it is 30 days TOTAL build time but you have to divide by 6 builders which is where you get roughly 20-25% increase in overall progress from the gold pass@@bdlegendcoc

I like your videos but this one is too tunnel visioned. There are many ways to waste money in life and this game is just one of them. I don't think anyone who buys a gold pass every month is going to care about how many days they would save if they bought the pass at TH14 instead of TH12 or TH11. If someone buys a gold pass every 3 months by saving up for it then they probably shouldn't be buying it anyways.

It’s taken me 2 years this month to almost max my th15. And I still have 3 cannons, 10 lvls on heroes, and 257 walls left. Not counting lab and pets. I’m half way in those.

Sometimes being "efficient" isn't fun, I tried playing without gold pass one month and it was so depressing, imagine having to train troops slow af and then someone else fills the cc with like 2-3 gems 💀 While you're there waiting for troops to cook. That alone is enough reason to buy gold pass. Unless you're broke, I recommend getting a job 😅

Fixing the value to magic items would solve this issue for example 1 rune is 1 million (or 10k if dark elixir) so 5 runes would give you 5 mill but if you have 7 mill storage space left, to fill it up you'll need 7 runes or fill up additional 2 million then use 5 runes 3 books would skip 3 days so if you have only 2 books and upgrade time is 6 days, then you'd wait 4 days and use the 2 books or acquire 4 more books then use them. Now with the hammer, it gets tricky cuz not every upgrade is 1 mill per 1 day so whichever is higher(maybe). Now of course this would mean that magic items would have FIXED value and we would need more housing space than just 1. But personally, I think it's intentional that coc have kept it that way. Cuz if they make books and runes and hammers have fixed value, you'd get extremely EXTREMELY high value for the money paid for gold pass and for the cwl medals. Just my opinion.

How the hell are you recommending that supercell reduces the value of magic items? If you're recommending for 1 BoH is to reduce hero upgrades by only 1 day, I'm gonna have to stop you there chief.

@@PixBobCat if you read fully, I essentially wrote decrease value and increase total number. Net effect will remain the same. So instead of using 1 book of hero to skip 8 days(maximum), you'd use 8 books(if you have. If you have let's say 4 books, then you'd wait 4 days and use 4 books. That way, the magic item's value isn't lost. For eg, you can use book of everything on a 10 sec cannon and a 20 day eagle artillery. There's no consistency. Here, 1 book would mean 1 day, so you wouldn't lose out on value.

@always_incognito0710 How would you then balance the amount given? They give a free BoH for the silver pass every month. If I were a TH10, and I got 5 BoH (5 days) vs a TH14 that got 5 BoH, wouldn't it be a worse trade for them? No matter what, a flat rate of just being able to complete the upgrade with a Book is the most consistently fair throughout all THs. Otherwise, you go into a worse balancing issue of figuring how much books to give each player based on TH lvls.

@@PixBobCat I don't know. But I for one don't want to be using a book of building on a 2, 3 day upgrade knowing that it's full value is 20 days. Same reason why I don't use runes. Th 7 rune only gives 4 mill or something whereas th 15 player would get 22 mill. So tell me, should the th 7 player buy the gold pass? Knowing the money being paid is not fully being utilized?

@always_incognito0710 But that's the main point of having a resource that has unlimited potential. You will always see waste if you're comparing using these resources at low TH against higher level THs since that's just the nature of progression. Your main comparisons should be with your own progression. If you don't have these resources, you will be set 4 days back or have 5 million gold les. We should be glad that we have additional resources for faster progression like the books etc, and not less. If a TH7 doesn't feel the need to get gold pass because they feel that they can progress fast enough without spending money, then that's great and should be the case to encourage progression. But we should never reduce the options we have to progress faster by nerfing the book's timing or resources gained.

They should add levels to magic times for eg lvl 1 book will only skip 1 day and to skip a 10 day upgrade, you'd need 10, level 1, books. Something like that. Then players who take efficiency seriously (especially given they spend money on it) will be left feeling satisfied, I think.
