@joshuahietala5174 ehhhhhhhhh I cover my scattershots with multi infernos to keep that from happening, 2 multis and 1 single target near my TH within its own 5 space compartment to keep most ranged troops from hitting it without it melting them first
He was just comparing with air sweeper, air defence does nothing if eternal tome is active but air sweeper still pushes the troops, so that's why air sweeper got 1 extra point over air defence in that category
Disagree with eagle impact tbh... When I was th12 ans 13 my whole strategy was based on taking out eagle, cc and enemy queen first... Either with queen charge, blimp or starting my main army charge from that side when all those key targets are close to the outskirts... So I'd say eagle has a pretty good impact... Higher yes, monolith, spell towers are more impactful but 12 and 13 desoite th weapon and scattershot, it's important
Literally all the way until th16 in most cases, the eagle and the town hall dictates where you send your army. That's why a lot of bases put them on the opposite side of each other so you can't take both out that easily. How it didn't get at least an 8 in impact is beyond me
I disagree with a lot in this video He makes the point about a defense being zapped away/blimped multiple times makes it seem like a negative But imo that is the best showing of why said defense is good, you're making the attacker invest spells/cc troops/queencharge to get that defense out of the way because otherwise it would pose a big problem to the main attack.
Yea cuz its a negative you as the defender would want something more reliable not something that is strong but can't be used ik you are talking about air defense most probably And about blimped away the things blimped away are usually more valuable than the th itself you would not blimp away a th if its only surrounded with canons but one with a eagle or inferno around it ,it differs on th 15 and 16 as those inferno deal some very heavy damage Blimped away and zapped away are different
So true. I personally think it's because we, the attacker, tend to focus on taking down the eagle first as it is pretty dangerous. That said, we often paid too much attention to it that we neglect other defenses such as Inferno Tower.
Most of the time, the eagle artillerie is what you focus on taking out first, i would say it is the strongest, if you dont target it in the beginning, your entire army gets wrecked
I always hit a base with inferno towers upgrading, and when i make layouts i prioritize placement, its a game changer since i use golems and queen walk
I’d switch the Eagle with them Inferno Towers… I mean, you only get 1 Eagle but 3 Inferno… that gotta have some meaning. But with the rest, I pretty much agree.
i watched the vid and i understand where he's coming from. However, if he rlly wanted to find out whats the best defence, he shouldve used TH1-16, which would include defences like the Monolith, Spell Towers, Ricochet Cannon and Multi-archer Tower.
@@julesampo1607The thing though, is that the Best defense does in part depend on your current th level. Mortar is good at the lower levels, and garbage at the higher levels.
Eagle artillery impact should have been 10/10 It shapes your entire attack because of how much damage it deals and how much range it has Side note: I thought that the last category would be about how useful the upgrades are
shouldve considered attack priority more, like how screwed you are if you dont take it out, town hall not getting a high ranking because people target it is just stupid because people wouldnt target it if it was bad town hall 12 and above the main strategy for every attack is how you take out the town hall and then deal with that town halls defence while infernos impact can be minimised by just attacking with a different army
personally i think the scattershot is the best defense. My bias is due to running queen charge miners. It is my go to attack, th 10-14, and will most likely be using it when i get to th 15.
I think scatter shot is underestimated here. They don't have continuous dmg but there burst capacity is very good. If ur attacking with hogs or loons scattershot can one shot these troops unless they are in 100% hp. And ask any queen walker how many times their queen died without using there ability to a scattershot.
That depends entirely on the troops in it if it has 40 barbs in it its getting a 1 on everything but if it has some super troops and drags in it then it gets a higher score
I think the sweeper should be way lower the only time its useful is when your going against e drags because airsweepers often make it harder for e drags to lock on to target long enough to attack but other then that the air sweeper is probabbly the stupidest defense in coc
How is the scattershot an 8 in versatility ? You literally said its good against everything. Thats the entire point of versatility rating. It doesnt need modes because u dont have to decide what to use it againts, its good against everything...
Still hidden tesla much better than ad why? Cause tesla only need to be a good position i hated tesla so much cause whenever someone put in right way it'll cause some trouble to your attack especially your heroes move it you do some qc/qw/ sui hero only because 1 tesla your hero will get trouble to funnel, but i'm agree anyone else that's correct except ad

@@divyanshuthakur595 you not noticing it doesnt make it a useless defenses, i have seen pros taking infernos as one of their top priority Its just the most underrated defense in the game, eagle and scatter are the most overrated
You get the feeling that the creator of this video mostly does air spam attacks by his ratings 😅 also x-bow is so underrated, it gets so strong at higher level.
But it does miss a lot. Not just because the troops come in the no attack range. They also might die before and it has to reload for another target for a long time
The meta is currently put eagle artillery outside bcz of the blizzard /blimparcher that otherwise would destroy the core of the base. With this in mind eagle deserves 5-6, because it has the POTENTIAL to be 9 in damage, but more often than not will be taken down with high priority so he has less oppurtunity to inflict his high damage, that's a problem unique with eagle
The best defence in my opinion is the town hall, it deals the most damage along the hole attack and you have to spent the warden ability, a siege machine or do a queen charge (depending of the strategy) to take it off, thing that only happend with this defense. So, being the principal thing the attacker need to think before attaking I think is a reasonable reason to thinks is the best defense and most important
By how your videos are, you look like someone Who has been playing for a long time and knows the Game, but is still on de middle levels and lacks experience. Your videos hold valuable knowledge, but i would sugest pairing with a higher, more experienced player when writing the scripts, so you can go deeper and better into some topics
I think a category you should've covered is how common it is for the defenses to be spelled out. A lot of my defenses are against air armies that zap out air defenses or air sweepers. A few ground armies zap/earthquake inferno towers. The impact of a defense must be huge for attackers to use ALL of their spell slots on one defense.
Scattershot quite literally is the best defence at th13, maybe the eagle can get a shout. Multi infernos are only good against bats, sceletons or balloons, so any of the popular th13 attacks can easily desregard them.
