Em is the master of multisyllabic rhyme schemes, slant rhymes, and double and triple entendres. There's a ton to this song. You catch more each time you listen. Elvis died on a toilet and Em references that he's $hi!**!ng on the competition, "I'm hitting The John, like Grey Poupon" (Dijon mustard). Also, that bar about his father was a double entendre with wordplay: "Marshall, I be leaving you" ("stupid" then chuckles). It sounds like, "Marshall, I believe in you." Considering how his father left when he was a baby, this hits hard.

The music is a sample from jailhouse rock but they change the pitch so it’s not the same chord over and over. All you have to do is listen to Jailhouse Rock for 15 secs and you’ll get it.

In one of those interesting interviews Baz expressed he wanted the soundtracks of the film were inspired in Elvis songs but that should match the modern time, the new generation.
