Nik Nocturnal had the whole band on his Twitch stream last night. Chris said that this song was actually started in 2016 for Graveyard Shift but didn’t make the album. Then they changed up/added some stuff but then it didn’t make it to Disguise either. So they gave the parts to Mick to see what he could do with it, and he rearranged it and added a lot of stuff and this is what he came up with. It’s the closing track on the new album.

Rick Olson’s (guitarist) voice complements Chris’s so well and I love that he’s heavily featured throughout this track. The chorus is Justin’s (the bassist) arrangement. It’s such a hopeful, uplifting track.

chris is really flexing his vocal capability for this album, i can not wait for it to drop in only days!! from future techno cyberhex, to making us all cry in master piece, then to be destroyed in slaughterhouse. I dont know how popular this may be but i would love to see a MIW ft Ronnie or the other way around, two leading vocalists in music, i think it would be amazing to get a song from both of them.

I definitely don’t think Ronnie deserves to work with MiW. We already knew he’s a shit person but hes proving more and more to be a bad music professional too between his handling of concert issues and his just failure to release more music then like 1 or 2 new songs a year and a cover/remake let alone how he treats his fans.

At 4:41 are y'all talking about an octave slide in vocal range here possibly? Ik it's not a clear cut slide but he does go up and down in octave pretty consistently in that bridge which is basically what a slide is. Just found your videos and this song and figured I'd chime in here lol. I had to fact check myself but I'm pretty sure that's the answer to your questions here. You gotta hear this song live, that final chorus goes so hard with chris and ricky. Saw them at the final dark horizon tour date and it was my 2nd time seeing MIW and they openned up with this and it was just legendary

Somewhat unrelated, but MIW is touring with another amazing band called Ice Nine Kills. Not sure if you guys know them but it'd be great if you checked them out. They did a whole album with a story behind it called The Silver Scream. Given the Michael Myers in the background, Stabbing In The Dark might be one of their songs to listen to in specific

I love your reactions. Very entertaining. But one question? When are you checking out Some Indian Street/ folk metal. Bloodywood realeaset their first album couple of months ago and it is amasing! If you like a pretty damn good flute solo, rap, metal and meaningful lyrics I probably would start with Ajj. But all the songs are great. I think you both will e pleasantly surprised if you havent heard them before ;)
