I feel like almost every time I come down here to comment it starts with something like "this is one of my favorites". I can't with him, NF is just SO good. I love you guys! 100% my favorite reactors when it comes to NF❤ I don't usually watch reaction videos unless it's her Ren or NF Oddly, I have never heard this song before and I love it. Thank you for introducing me to older songs I've never heard from him. I genuinely don't think I've heard one that I don't like or love. i fully understand this qoute BUT i also think its an easy cop out.. because everyone learns to judge somewhere.. media, tv, school, church.. its everywhere.. mainstream judges churches .. churches judge sinners.. etc,etc .. i feel like its an easy cop out to say that as if you wouldn't judge if it wasnt for church

Question for Kyle&Eric: when the lyrics come up "staring down at an empty cup like, Ima fill it up", do you think it's talking about addiction and drowning in sorrow and booze? Or do you think it could be a metaphor for relying on yourself for good feelings? As in, "you can't pour from an empty cup", energy, allowing others to rely on you when you feel drained etc?

I think it's a reference to his last few lines in Remember This which is later in the same album: "Don't believe what you believe just 'cause that's how they raised you Think your own thoughts, don't let them do it for you Say you want a drink, don't wait for people to pour it on you Cut out the lies, stay close to the people you know are loyal Grab your own glass and fill it, don't let your fear destroy you, woo!" In that light, I think the chorus is talking about how you have to be the catalyst for change in your own life. If you don't want to stay trapped in a hole (10 feet down), you need to fill up your own cup (whether that's an issue of energy, passion or hope as we see in his latest album).
