We really need to talk about the chat. 

In case you are wondering how many warnings, chat bans and/or suspensions I got in the making of this video, the answer is... ZERO. I expected my alt to get flooded with warning from star stable, because I was testing the system by spamming the chat, using illegal words, writing mean things and mentioning other platforms, all for an extended period of time, and yet, there was not a single word. No suspension, no chat ban, and not even a warning. And yet there are players getting suspended from accidentally misspelling everyday words... Yeah, I really don't think this is working out 🙃

The fact that this is a online game where you can't even have a normal conversation.

I'm actually kinda scared if the report feature comes out, there are so many mean ppl that are just reporting other players because they're bored (like in other games) and yeah i know that star stable is checking the reasons of reporting but if there are to many reports thats hard to manage.. im also kinda scared that i get banned or even kicked out the game for asking someones discord or other media accounts.. oh yeah and second: Soo Maybe it sounds kinda weird but it would actually be really nice (for me and my friends at least) to have new servers but for 13+ players, so then (i dont know how) u have to verify yourself to get acces to a server like that where is more freedom to talk (and of course not all words). Yeah it sounds kinda weird but im also getting triggered by those 7yo players that are doin stoopid things in the game (yah not all but in my country they're cringey as hell lmao) Edit: oh and yeah maybe star stable can create smth like this: Imagine me using a edited swear word that sso didn't covered already, then there is a player reporting me and typing the wrong words i used in a special box. Then thats sending to star stable and they can remove it from the white board?? btw i loove your channel so keep going!!

Star Stable thinks that only little kids play this game, they are wrong acctually

I absolutely agree with you. In Germany, the chat is also very bad, even completely harmless words that just are kinda long get censored, but if you split some words up in two, you can write them. Doesn’t make sense, right? You can barely even communicate. I think the chat filter system SSO uses is called CrispThinking. I think you can see this if you look up the informations for parents on SSOs website.

It's so ridiculous. This morning, I went on SSO, didn't say a word, and logged off. I barely got tagged the night before. An hour later, I logged back on and had MAIL FROM SSO SAYING I HAD A CHAT WARNING!

This video is a really good topic. In the Swedish servers you can't write normal things and the worst part is that you can write swear words with extra letters and such things. I hope sso fix this soon.

About that article, I'm from sweden and it was such a big thing during the time, everyone talked about it. He is accused of everything from virtual rapes to sexual posing. Starstable has marketed themselves with high security ambitions and shown pictures from when Queen Silvia visited the company. But the childrens' sites protection from pedofiles seems to be hollow.

The fact that you can’t write numbers really gets me. I understand that maybe they don’t want you to say your age, but that’s not really too harmful. But when you can’t even write the time of an event on the club calendar, you know it’s gone too far.

Star Stable: the only game I have encountered which has a chat filter that you cannot manually turn off. The only game in which you cannot type a number, not even spell it out You cannot ask "where are.." "how many.." "is that your.." without getting warned and filtered. Where favorism goes around, but the team manipulates the younger players into thinking its ok Where support wont answer your questions, and barely gives you service in english Where instead of accepting criticism, they'd rather sponsor you so you shut up I've played over 100 mmorpg's. This is the only game I have ever had these kind of encounters with.

They only need the chat filter because they can't afford (or they don't want to "waste" money on) chat moderators. I've only seen a mod in chat once in 6 years of playing with SSO. A machine will never understand the intention, but a human will.

TWICE. It’s actually pretty crazy, I used to play the game more solo, but I joined a club, and I’ve made so many new friends, which means I have to talk and I’m SHOCKED by the filter. In one month, I’ve gotten two warnings and three chat bans. I’m literally waiting for a suspension from the game. It’s got to the point players are afraid to speak, and to be fair, so am I. I’ve had my star stable account for 8 and a half years, and am not prepared to lose all the money and time I’ve spent on the game, just because I’ve wrote a simple word. It would be such a life saver if star stable made a chat where players who have confirmed birthdays can see more mature languages and younger players can see the tags over the ‘inappropriate’ words (aka simple words 🙄) but this would be so much help. But all I want is a simple conversation with my friends. The chat filter is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to words that shouldn’t even be whitelisted/blacklisted. My biggest issue with it at the moment is that it censors certain horse breeds, despite having spelled all of them correctly (even after double checking just in case). How can a horse game that is based almost entirely off of new horse breeds being added censor actual names of horse breeds? It makes no sense whatsoever. Plus I’ve recently seen players openly bully others or use derogatory words in both the global and say chat without any of it being censored. Yet when I type in “doggo” I get a damn chat ban for 3 days. Which is why I’ve resorted to using outside chat systems such as Discord and Instagram. I imagine, as you stated in the vid, that many other players are doing the same, rather than risking a chat ban or suspension for either misspelled words or just common words that are used by everyone. LET ME SAY DOGGO IN THE CHAT, THEN I’LL DIE A HAPPY PERSON lol

Star Stable is an outlet for many of us. It helps us feel happy. I like chatting to my club, having fun with them. With chat ban for 1 day, its not the worst thing ever but quite boring. I got 1 day chat ban for no reason: I said nothing wrong. An hour after that chat ban was done, I had no warnings at all and it told me I had a 5 day chat ban. Luckily, it ends tomorrow. It is honestly pure torture for when we have said nothing wrong to not be able to read the drama in global or to catch up with your club. With the little icon in the corner bleeping. Just why? We cannot even read the chat. I have lost a few friends and even a club in the past for "being rude" when I was in the middle of the event "randomly dismounting and rearing". I was trying to tell them I had chat ban. Some people have gotten SUSPENDED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME from getting too many chat bans. Honestly, at this point I am scared to chat on SSO. It is no longer a happy place.

I sent an email about this to sso a while ago, maybe 4 months ago? Probably a couple hours after, I sent another about a ‘good’ idea I had for the game. I got a reply from the second email the next day, yet I have still had no reply to the first one, and I bet you it’s because they don’t like taking constructive criticism (although I think they’re getting better at it now). Granted, when they replied to my idea, they didn’t really directly talk about it, just said some bs like ‘we love taking your ideas’ bla bla bla, but they still replied to it before replying to my email where I gave them constructive criticism, which I sent hours before! They tell us that they put our emails in queue, but I can’t really believe that after this. It’s almost as if they throw the emails with the subject ‘I have a problem with the game’ in the trash and forget about it. I mean, just look at their instagram comments, half of them are complaining about how sso haven’t replied to their email about something they’re having a problem with. The developers are honestly getting on my nerves.

I’ve received a month suspension a few days ago, and I have NEVER been so angry with an online game. I’ve gotten two warnings, Five chat bans, one day suspension, and now a month suspension. All because I misspelt the word where. I play Alicia online so for the time being I’ll be taking a break from star stable to play games that don’t have chat filters like star stables. And trust me, I think that breaks going to be veryyyy long. People on this game can write the inappropriate things and get away with it, but honestly I think Star stable is just being mean to players like me now. Because a chat ban I had on my fifth (I think) was something like ‘I love that horse xD’ was probably because I said love. What the actual heck Star stable..

The chat is disappointed... Recently, I said “hi” to a friend and I got 1 day chat ban. I wrote to SSO about it and they told me that they can’t do something about it. 😡 And there’s 2 months ago, I logged on and I was training. I didn’t open my chat of all my time (30 min) and I got chat ban for 7 days. But why is the chat so dangerous. I understand completely why we are using social media to communicate. The thing with chatban is... You dont get to see/hear/know what you did wrong and becuase of that you can get countless times chat ban becuase of that fact. I mean i got chat ban after saying tree in my own language and id ont think that is a cuss word... right?

I once misspelled a word (I can’t remember what it was, it was a while ago), and then a few minutes later I had a chatban pop up saying it was banned for 2 days. I was pretty annoyed and was trying to get the point across to my friend that I had a chat ban, when suddenly I got ANOTHER chat ban! This time for 7 days. I have no idea how it happened. I got two chat bans a few minutes after eachother. And what made it even worse, I was chat banned for 9 days because I guess the days stacked. I have never been so angry at a video game. I even tried to contact the SSO team, but got no response.

I once got suspended for a week for nothing. I was standing near Jorvik Stables on Wind Star I believe, (And keep in mind that I had JUST logged on in the morning to start training) and BOOM- Suspension for No fricken reason. It also angers me a lot as a person who does a lot of realistic roleplays and roleplays in general. I was doing a wild role once and I got chat banned for saying "I heard hoof beats coming closer to me..." and I had no idea why! And I completely agree Elanor that the SSO Chat should be fixed to Dyslectic/ mentally challenged people. I actually have Dyslexia myself and the SSO chat has actually kinda helped my spelling but it's almost like learning a new language! People have to get creative with coming up with how to say numbers and things like that. (Tree, for, hhive, ETC) I really hope SSO will fix their chat filter and at least explain when you do get suspended or Chat banned for what you did to deserve that. -Thank you for listening to me.

Hey! I'm from Rainbow Valley, the Brazilian server. We used to be able to chat in Portugese normally, of course, because this is our native language. But it has been 10 months since we are no longer able to chat in our language or it will get hashtags, the only language our chat supports is English. Which is pretty upsetting, because we can't chat in any way, not all people (especially the kids) don't speak nor understand English and they are loosing a lot of players, because no one wants to play a game they can't chat in their native language and everytime me and my friends questioned sso about it or requested them to give our chat an attention they never answered us properly. :/

Yes! The chat system is absolutely ridiculous! I'm on a UK server and the chat here is horrible. I wrote a sentence saying. "Yass!, I won the Firgrove championship!" And it censored out the words."Yass!" and Firgrove". There was also a time where I was speaking about the red roan Connemara, and giving my opinions on it. But when I said "Red roan" It censored out the word RoAN. LIke we can't even say horse breeds. AnD yOu cANt EvEN Say BUCKSkiN. LiKe This is getting out of hand. Ive had four warnings in the last week and its making me scared to even use the chat. Im a teenager so what I would like from sso is maybe to add like 13+ servers or something? So we could have like EvEN MORE fReeDom to Actually HAvE A Conversation. The way I do speak to my friends is using discord and Instagram. I was just thinking about this. I think Star Stable should make servers for different types of players. EXAMPLES: A rolep lay server: This server is made for role players, and role-play clubs. The chat will be open to descriptive words. A adult server: This server is for players older than 16, the chat has barely any limits, and you have to have parent permission to be here (by email). Younger Kids Server: This server is for kids younger than 13, the chat has its limits. Server for RU-vidrs: You have to be a youtuber to be here, it's quite and not many people are here it's great for filming videos! Then they could have servers for anyone younger then 15 who just like to run around and do whatever xD Then could also have servers for adults like 20 - 30s) I liek to roleplay, and i don't talk to people online, and I am about 12 so I don't like the negativity in global sometimes, and so i would like to be with other kids my age.

It's always interesting to see people be able to write "NI GGA" in the chat without bans or warnings and then not be able to write things like marmelade, Goldspur, buckskin, knabstrupper and stuff like that

My friend told me that you get a chat ban after a certain amount of chat warnings (5 or 6 (I can't remember)) but if you get a warning it doesn't even say how many you have until you get a chat ban like sso how are we supposed to know how close we are to getting a chat ban if you don't tell us??? I am VERY forgetful and I don't know how many warnings I have gotten and that brings up other questions like: If I got a warning a year ago does it still count or do they go away bc sso believes you have matured? How long is the banning you do receive if you have gotten the amount of warnings required? (I can't think of anything else) I'm always in conflict whenever I think about the chat because I'm like: Well I think we should have numbers and be able to say them in the chat without coding them, but then I realize even MORE personal information would probably be given out my the younger players of the game if we could say numbers. I think star stable needs to think about the chat a LOT and brainstorm countless ideas and maybe put one in action through every server, kinda like the global store where one region could test out a feature not in-game yet and tell the team what it thinks about it, then you would have the players' opinions too, maybe there could also be a player that we could message and tell them problems like glitches or bugs with an update or just tell them ideas we have (personally i would love this because I have over 100 ideas on my list) I know a rambled a lot but I hope this makes since :)

This is SUCH a good point! I myself as a roller have never (somehow) been chat banned..BUT I get chat warnings like no tomorrow. It’s amazing what I can’t say because of the chat filter.

In our Hungarian servers, we can’t even write one word down without it being filtered. So we are currently trying to communicate in English, which is barely possible, since it’s being filtered too. We can’t really express ourselves, so I also would love it if sso would fix this issue, and I’m sure the other players too. Thanks for making this video!

Here in the Brazilian servers, we need to find ways to talk, some people already gave up and use other apps like Discord or Skype. Not everyone can speak English too SSO :( We tried all of us sending them a lot of mails with vídeos and explanation of why we need the chat back. Thank you for talking about this topic ❤️

I totally agree with this, in the beginning I quit SSO because of the lack of quests and horses- now when I came back- I see the problem of lack of quests and sso "ignoring" there fanbase. I HATE the chat right now, I got so many warnings- on my alt I was roleplaying with a group of buds and then I got chat suspended for saying "The horse Whinnies back" for an entire MONTH. Luckily- it was my alt and not my main, which I never talk on anymore because the chat is so dumb and i'm quiet scared to get banned or even suspended.

Okso I'm rewatching some of your videos, just as usual, and I actually remember that back when he chat system was this bad, I got chat banned BC I wanted to tell my friend that my home stable is in Mistfall, so therefore, I typed "I live in Mistfall". I do understand that the " I live" part is reasonal, but like... I literally contacted Customer Support and all they said was something about how I should read the rules carefully or something along those lines. I got cut banned, for 3 whole days.. For wording my sentence in a way that I didn't think anything could happen... Yea.. I'm really glad that the chat system is much better now..

Yes, finally, somebody who made a video about this. You know, its not the only problem that the chat censors everything. I can't write anything in my language at all. (I am not on an english server) I have to write in english,and the others too. I mean, not a problem for me, or for players who know how to speak english. (btw, it censors english too, so a lot of players just stopped to communicate) But for the younger players, it's difficult. Yesterday, I logged in to see in the chat, that a young little starter is trying to write something in my language, but it's impossible because of the chat filter. And of course they logged off after that, because they were annoyed. I really wish that sso could fix this, but they are focusing on to create more horses, and more useless updates, so i don't think that this mess will ever stop. 😞 (sorry if it's not really understandable, I tried to formulate good, but there could be mistakes)

Eleanor this is a really good video with a really good meaning 👏👏 I’m quite grumpy with sso chat because I am Dutch and am on a English server and I miss spell words quite a lot and get alooooooot of chat bans I’m so fed up 😭

It's so annoying when I try to talk to my friend while were trying to have a normal conversation and the chat is constantly turning into hashtags over the simplest things. I've seen people say very inappropriate things and they don't get chat banned,while others who misspell a word and get chat bann or a warning. This isn't right and hopefully sso does do something about it, because it's getting ridiculous.

At here, hungary, chat was completely abolished a year ago, we were told that it was not safe enough for children. Therefore, we cannot write a hungarian word, only in English. Some were banned for weeks for "inappropriate behaviour on chat" and only innocent souls could not write in their native language. And the worst part is, it's been a year. Not only me, but a lot of my friends have written to the SSO team several times asking when they're going to do it, but we've all been told, "we're sorry, we'll let you know as soon as we can."" A year ago, they were replying to the copied, pasted part. That's the worst part...

This is so true. The SSO Team definitely needs to watch this video and make a change. You dont wanna KNOW how many times Ive gotten chat banned when I was younger and mispelling words. It used to scare me a lot. The repoet feature is a good option, but yet Some people may report people for no reason. Star stable, this issue is getting out of hand.

And this is the reason why I don't use chat all. I'm scared of getting chat banned or even suspended every time I say something that isn't wrong. I barely play SSO now because of how ridiculous their chat filter is. No one can have a decent conversation and are practically forced to talk off of star stable and on their social medias, yet that is also hard to do. I would love it if they fixed their filters for the chat, innocent people get banned / suspended and it's not fair. Like you said in the video, they need to fix it and fast, they'll end up losing players because of the chat.

I got a chat ban for A DAY for misspelling about. I was trying to say about, but then I accidentally type bouty. I get why the chat banned me but like if I try to say the actual thing and not something slightly different, then you should chat ban me or give me a warning. But I didn’t, so what’s the point? Also one time, I was playing truth or dare with one of my friends. One of my friends asked the other friend where they lived. SHE LITERALLY SAID WHERE!! She put periods and Xs in between, but it still gives away personal information. The girl who asked where she lived did NOT get chat banned! I’m on Night Star, one of the more popular servers, and here’s something that annoys me- you can say daddy, but you can’t say “Do you want to go to the Disco with me?” And I’m talking about the one in fort. Wth SSO?! You can also get around cuss words really easily with the new chat update. For instance, you can say “bitty” or “bit” for the B word. You can say “Sh-“ for the S word. You can say “buck” for the F word. You can say “as” for the A word. (Which I know isn’t as bad, but for kids it is) I literally saw someone say “you as hole!” In chat but I am pretty sure they didn’t get chatbanned. There are other words too, but I am too lazy to type. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my little rant. I love your videos Eleanor!

A lot of the time you’re only allowed to write slang words that are more common than the real word but the real one is banned, at least in Swedish, so yeah I 100% believe they’re using a whitelist for the chat

In England, there was about four months when we literally couldn’t say see. WE HAD TO SAY SEA. AND WE COULD LITERALLY SAY: ‘this game sucks.’ BUT YOU COULDNT SAY ‘I see with my own eyes.’

Yes please star stable , listen to her! I’m a kid, and I can’t even talk to my irl friend, tell her my time in games, how long I can play, or have a normal child’s conversation! We should be able to say normal words, and say numbers!

As a regular SSO player, I totally agree that the chat needs to change. For about 6 months now I cannot see players (It's not lucky, really. It gets super boring and annoying.), so I didn't chat much. My club being dead doesn't help either tbh- The social medias being censored is kind of okay though(?), since in the rules it says to not mention other apps. Not like anyone follows the rules though-

Im danish, on the danish serve there are no ways what so ever to write in English and you can’t say “rip” but you can say “rest in peace” like how does that even make sense!? And even horse names like lusitano and andalusien is banned from the chat both in english and danish, so even the clubs that try to include the most ppl will have to have some kind of social media, or they’ll have to choose a new club horse, that isn’t fair? And I know so many ppl who gets chat banned on a weekly basis just for trying to communicate, I’m personally much of an introvert so it doesn’t rly affect me. And let me tell you, there has been so much talk about the chat system, every new person I meet and start talking with through discord, we always talk about the chat filter at one point, everyone HATES it.. and I’ve even tried multiple times where my friends that don’t play star stable have been playing with me on my computer and have opened the chat and not understood a single thing, cause we use code names for almost everything, not to talk about how many hearts we use in the middle of words because or else the most simple messages will just turn into “##### ####### ######”. I hope this message makes sense but there is just so much that I think needs to be done. And there is so many clever ppl working for the star stable team that it doesn’t make sense to me they haven’t done anything yet, personally I think the best way to do it is just to have a thing where you type your birthday, and it tells you very clearly that every age can play the game, but if you’re over the age of maybe 13 you will be able to at own risk turn off the chat filter.

This having affected me, I am very triggered. Just the other day I had bought a horse, and the game glitched out during an open house race. So I re-logged and started to go quest. I was trying to level up so of course I wasn’t talking to anyone, not even my club. I was doing a quest with Mrs. Drake and I got a chat warning. I literally hadn’t said anything since I re-logged which had been over 30 minutes.I have emailed star stable about this problem countless times and the only thing they sent me is we are working on improving the chat filter please read this article about what is right and wrong to say. I actually read the article just to see what they had to say about it, and when translating into English,It would only go to Swedish. I think it was because they had the general article language set to Swedish so when translated to English, it did nothing. Seriously?! Most of their players are English from what I understand and so even if they wanted to read the article and correct their mistakes, they can’t. Maybe this is just a me problem ,but most people don’t have other languages that they can speak other than their native language. And for most of the players, that is English. So,I emailed star stable about my thoughts on the article and after months of waiting, no reply. I wouldn’t be as mad about this if they had emailed me and confirmed what had happened by a real person or even just asked me what happened. But this is a serious problem that needs to be addressed and people need to understand that it affects a lot of lives.👏🏻😭🤦‍♀️

As a person that joined all the way back in November 2013 when the game was completely new Norwegian, I got used to typing in my dialect and things that make me type faster. (Like me instead of meg) as all my friends were fast typers. And now I am getting chatbanned left and right because after 6+ years of typing faster I can't Get used to writing bokmål(wich is also limited) and I just cringe whenever I have to do that. I used to rp QUITE often and sometimes other people got quite out of hand(I just want to say I always left and felt uncomfortable when it did) and they NEVER got consequences, but now I am getting chatbanned every week for writing words as ”me, gud bedre, sfm." etc. IT IS RIDICULOUS and a big factor to why I lost contact with almost everyone I was friends with.

Honestly, I barely even use chat because I'm that type of person that just roleplays with myself or ride and do quests, but I feel bad for other people cause a friend of mine got chat banned because of a little bit longer message that was literally normal.. It's kinda annoying. :/

You point out the fact that.. I use to have a lot of sso friends. But I’ve noticed that it dipped from maybe over 20 down to 2 about to be 1.. I Ligit just gave up on making friends. Out of the entire time I played I got chat ban like hell towards these years, and I watch what I say when I’m on star stable. For example: I got Chat Ban for a WEEK because I said “a snake?” Cuz my friend said something about a snake. :/ I’ve had friends say goodbye to starstable cuz it got lonely cuz it’s impossible to make friends, and what do you mainly do once you have no more quest? Train horses? Or stop playing at this point.

I hate the sso chat. I've gotten quite a few warnings these past weeks for saying nothing wrong, nothing inappropriate whatsoever and it makes me really mad because I'm worried any day now I'll become chat banned when I've done nothing wrong. It is so difficult to have a conversation with your friends because your words are constantly censured and you have to find other ways to explain what you mean like you said in your video :/ so frustrating! Sso also doesn't just have children playing. I'm 25 years old and I love it because I grew up with the old starshine legacy games.

ive just came out from a five day chat ban, all because i mistyped one of my club members nicknames so instead of west i wrote wet. After i said "NO", but still I got five days, all for a typo that i did not intentionally write. What is even more frustrating is the club member said it after me, then said tehe, and nothing happened to her. SSO is more dirty minded than a lot of players are. They NEED to actually review the chat, and not just chat ban people because of typos

thank you for making this video! i just got chat banned for a couple of days for trying to have a normal conversation. its so annoying, and my grammer sucks so i am always misspelling words, and i get chat warnings for it. like really sso?!? sso please fix the chat filter

I really hope they will do something about it. Also, a blacklist seems much better than a whitelist and I think they had it in the beginning, but got fed up with people getting creative about bad words so they made it into a whitelist... which was the worst decision ever 😅 Also, we got two new club members we couldn't reach out of game and we were trying to explain to them what discord is... it failed epically, haha. But trying to communicate in the game is so tiring and time-consuming that I just stopped using the chat at all 😅

I agree 100% and one time I was talking with my friend and said nothing bad, but it got tags and I ended up getting chat ban. That friend ended up ignoring me bc I had no way of saying "I have ban" But I really don't want a report players update bc then everyone will be reporting everyone and ppl who didn't do something bad would get ban for no reason, but do need some way to call out ppl.

I play starstable on the swedish server marshmallow clouds and I heard about that article too. This chat filter was released right after the article came. I saw some players blame sso for what happened. I think this chat filter was an easy sollution for sso to decrease cases like this one. But I agree with every word you say. They have to fix the chat filter. I barely even use the chat anymore.

I once got a WEEK ban, Not a chat ban, a ban from SSO entirely, JUSt because I was playing hide and seek with my friend in sso, it said ''you've used inappropriate words'' WTH?! I was COUNTING, I don't have many friends in real life and so SSO is basically my only way to socialize with people, now I can't because of the God damn CHAT!!!

Got in the span of 5 minutes, 4 3day suspensions and 1 7day suspension for singing "No No Square" in a group with my friend who was also singing it xD

The chat is literally the only reason why I don’t talk much and don’t have many sso friends xD

I’m a bit late, but one good way to stop spammers could be to put a cool down for how many things you can say at a time. Roblox has a feature in which if you begin to start spamming words, the system detects this and starts giving a cool down for when you can type anything else. It will say something such as: “You need to wait 5 seconds before sending another message!” And this works.

I personally think the chat filter bot situation should flag what you say that is actually triggering the filter. I have gotten chatbans countless times without actually knowing why- Usually I dont say anything that would break rules. Simply quoting what I wrote could help me, as a player, understand what I even did. I email sso about this and their only reply is “oh well” and they never lift bans. Its aggravating- I’m not necessarily a child anymore and I like to play this game for nostalgia. I like to buy virtual ponies and ride around with my friends. Getting a red warning and 10 days chat ban without reason at this point just makes me sad. If theyre going to keep the chat as strict as it is, they should be more specific so players can “learn” (half of them arent even doing anything wrong) from their mistakes.

I have dyslexia, I struggle to use the chat without getting Censored it’s really frustrating. You can’t even say you have dyslexia to explain to others who I’m talking too because the the word is on there white list

There’s some english players in my spanish server, and they can’t talk because of the chat filter. One of my friends speaks English and we’ve been trying to talk to each other but it’s impossible... so we finally found a way to say our instagrams.

I made a comment earlier, but as someone who was groomed when I was young, the first step (in my experience) is to move them on a different platform, one where it’s easier to communicate (and sink their claws and start slowly grooming) I think SSO need to rework the chat system, the word filter in general. I’ve only heard stories on SSO of what things have happened but these frustrations with chatting on the game, is what makes it easier for sick people to get in the minds of younger players. Sorry if my sentences are a little disjointed, sort of got a bit triggered! Hope anyone reading this comment is well!

Everyone's figured out ways of getting round not being able to say numbers, general words (such as piaffe, we can't even say piaffe on my server :,) ) and even swear words. Since a lot of people like to rp, me included in that, it's frustrating that when we're introducing our character you can't say 'my name is' or say pretty regular words like in most conversations. Mostly it amuses me that you can name a horse 'sugarfather' or 'hotkiss' but not say a misspell a word in chat. One thing I think tho when you were talking about people giving their social medias away is that most people have alternate social medias created for their SSO characters and clubs and stuff so normally when that happens it isnt really personal information being given away, but yeah. If I have them a recommendation for their chat filter it would be too make it sort of like Roblox and have separate filters for people under and over 13. So that all the slightly older children can at least say numbers, the alphabet and not have such a strict filter. Idk tho since they have too follow safe guarding procedures. Hopefully they can figure out a way to change it, thank you for reading my essay lol

I totally agree and can I add, CAN WE GET THE COPY AND PASTE FUNCTION BACK. It is so much more difficult for clubs to advertise when they have to type up their paragraph EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Yesterday I was just talking with my friend in the sso chat, I said “follow me” because I was going to show her how to get up on a cliff. All of a sudden I got chat banned for 10 DAYS. The chat really needs to be fixed :/

agreed they need to sensor properly not normal words. also though i feel we reallllly need either a new pasture you can walk into and see your horses(could be instanced like the stable is or more spots in the stables.

I once got a chat ban for FIVE DAYS!! It was also my first ever chat ban and they made it that long. It was only because my club was making a website and we needed photos. I was asked to tell the people to take a photo of their sso character. That was the reason sso? THAT????

I got two times chat banned for 3 days for saying "Hitler" and "gay" I kinda understand why Hitler, but gay? I didn't even said it as a mean joke like "you gay" or "you mom gay" but said "I'm gay" as meme reference

i hate it when you get chat banned for no reason, once i was roleplaying with this girl and it was like a farm roleplay and i said "wow that's a cute pig" and got chatbanned few minutes afterwards, i have got, i think like 10 or more chatbans while roleplaying 🤧
