Financially kinda risky, not so much money from their president, in some saves in the 3rd or 4th year they are getting relegated. Bad academies. This should be a challenge

Awesome video like always! NEW VIDEO IDEA: Have your Dad continue the journey, let him spend the money and count the seasons till he dethrones Bayern and makes Schalke as a best team in Germany. Would 10/10 watch, as this has a nice narrative of fighting Bayern (maybe one of the challenges would be to rebuy Ouedraogo?) that snatched two best players AND to finally let your Dad loose in the transfer market after being restricted for 5 years in the rebuild.

Love the rebuild videos, maybe when you are both in the same league but not the top league the person who wins the league should get a bonus point. It’s a bit like stopping the other person winning a trophy

Hi guys, on 7mins 48secs you can see a screen full of Transfer Clauses that unless I'm mistaken can be sold off early. Given you have nothing to play with I'm wondering why you didn't generate any cash by selling these on?

Hmmm... To balance out the rebuilds, maybe you could add a single point for European qualification. It will cancel out if both do so, but the differentiator of finishing above the other will already be there to separate it. That way the h2h does matter, but the rebuild portion of it still counts. Just a suggestion tho, if ya think it don't work, it's all good

I started own guys save with Man Utd. Trusting only youth intakes and former utd juniors. After one season I already regret as there is not their own guys who really can play big part in Premier League. So I am so gonna get sacked. Now when I see Schalke I think that might be better option for that kind of save. Maybe I try it when I get sacked.

Enjoyed as always. But this particular rebuild showed flaws in the scoring system. How dad has consistently finished higher, won a cup and delivered European football but loses due to head to head is a farce 😂😂 Luke is more corrupt than the EPL

Luke, please can you do a Youth To Gold with Wolves and bring some glory back to the Black Country! Oh and aso on these vids can you just show us briefly the tactics instructions (the purple boxes) so we can see what sort of mentality and instructions you go for in these season long sims. Do you tweak the player roles yourself or do you just choose their best role?

An idea for next battle, maybe rebuild the two vienna clubs (SK Rapid and Austria Wien) and get them back to glory and to destroy RB Salzbrug

I think this video shows that the points system needs to be readjusted at least a little. Maybe add 1 point for qualifying for Europa or Conference League and 2 points for UCL?

you should at least introduce 2 points for a promotion cos whats the point of the lower league re builds? you gain nothing for winning the league. Especially when Omega Dad has won the two original promotions?!?!? is this to protect Luke??

If goal is best rebuild imo finishing higher and winning a league (even if lower league) should score higher than a 1 off game against each other. First 2 seasons win 2nd league and European football and same points. Doesn't really make sense

Omega Dad was the winner!!! He never got the points for the league win in the first season.... I get the whole not getting it if someone gets relegated but if you both start the game in the same divison what difference does it make, best team/tatics win and all that... So by default as omega luke doesnt like losing omega dad is your winner!! 🏆🏆🥇

Doesn’t make sense that in season 1 OmegaDad wins the league by 9 points but finishes 2-1 down on points… he would have still gotten a trophy for 1st place so I think points need reviewed again

If I were dad, I would've sold all players I'd never use in the first season, despite not receiving anything in my transfer budget. At least the player would be of my books and it would clear wage budget to get free signings or loan players I would otherwise not be able to pay

i think anytime your in the same division the poinst system of 4 points for winning league should apply, if your in seperate divisions then the higher league position should apply unless the higher division player wins league

I think you need to give out more points for finishing higher than beating each other, that's the main achievement I reckon in these battles. Schalke was probably the better rebuild (Bar the loss of Quedraogo as that was tragic to loss a quality player), the points system doesn't show it (posted this before the end haha). Either way, love the rebuild battles and looking forward to the next one. Sunderland vs Newcastle maybe?
