Honestly so much can be done with good comping. This style of VFX has always reminded me of the type of kitbashing done creating physical effects on old movies like Star wars.

An incredible recreation of a scene I was sure had to have been done in full 3D entirely. The VFX Artists on the show probably had to do it in 3D tho, considering how often Directors want different versions of a shot, so if they got the call to change the camera position it would have been a pretty big hassle redoing all that 2D comping

There's a lot of really good, condensed info in this video, well done! My ONLY nitpick is to please turn down the chromatic aberration a bit; You did so well to sell the realism of this scene, but I was slightly pulled out of it from the not so realistic amount of aberration lol
