When I heard about it, I was so shocked. Didn't know what to feel. Then I couldn't stop bawling my eyes out. This is the first celebrity death that has hit me this hard. Found her on youtube back in 2010. Always would watch her videos and she was the one who inspired me to play the piano again. I never met her but you could really tell she cared a lot about her fans. She didn't deserve this at all, gone too soon. :(

My friend new Christina. She was one of her "frands" as she would say. She had met her 3 times, and one of those times was when she won a competition to be in her Shrug music video. She was even good friends with Christina's best friends. When I found out she was shot, I texted her immediately cause I thought it was fake when I first heard it. And then she told me she was true. Then, I actually knew she was dead before the police released their statement about her death. I was about to go to bed, and she texts me back and told me she's dead. She had found out through one of her best friends, and I went to bed just not knowing what to feel. I'm not phased by celebrity deaths, but this one truly hit home with me, and I'm still in a state of shock cause it.

What the fuck how can someone just walk in a place with a gun and kill someone that's so missed up

My sister and I used to watch her singing videos and thought they were amazing. I can't fathom that she's gone.

I fucking remember when I was subbed on her second year. she started when she was fucking sixteen and her career was just starting to really take off. I wish her family the best, I hope they get to grieve peacefully and I'm not even religious in the slightest but they are in my heart and I pray for them. I've been watching her videos for 7-8 years and Following her success through all of that. I'm so heartbroken, she was such an amazingly talented person and so genuine with her fans. This one hurt so much for me, and fucking hell is makes me angry. She didn't deserve this.

I wonder when in this country (which is supposed to be the greatest country in the world). When these horrible and senseless killing will end. We must put a stop to this right away and right now. The government should get very strict on gun control. I just recently heard about her death. I did not know about her before the incident and I wish I knew about her before it. It's sad to see someone with so much talent and potential leave us. She had a long way ahead of her and could have pursued her dreams. The murderer deserves some kind of punishment other than leaving this world by his own hands.

Rest in Peace, Christina. We all felt like we knew you. I got married last year in May, and we fell in love with her cover of I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. It was the song in our wedding that a lady in our church sang for us during the ceremony. This was senseless that she was here and then just gone like that. Still praying for the family and thinking of them and her.

As Tina(Christina's mother) had been Mother to Team Grimmie, so Marcus and Bud remain Brother and Father to all those young frands. In remembrance of his time as Grimmie's mentor on season 6 of The Voice, Adam Levine said this: "There are certain people in this world who; you know, won't allow you to stay the sort of status quo per person that you usually are. I wanted to be better around her(Christina), for her." So say us all.

I remember the first time I saw Christina on RU-vid and thought Wow, she is so amazing and talented. I was hooked and would watch all of her videos. You could just tell how down to earth and how special she was, and I found myself rooting for her, saying I truly hope she makes it in the music business. When I found out she was going to be on The Voice I couldn't believe it, and I was so happy for her, and when I heard her rendition of Wrecking Ball, I was amazed and thought for sure she was going to win. I supported and rooted for her every week and even though she came in third, she truly was a winner. The world not only saw what an amazing talented singer she was, but an even better person on the inside. She was so real as a person, down to earth, super talented, funny, honest, humble and you could tell anyone who knew her personally loved her so much. I never knew Christina personally, but I definitely felt a connection to her and was a big fan and will always be. I have felt this overwhelming feeling of sadness inside ever since I heard about this tragic news. I will keep Christina and her entire family in my thoughts and prayers, Heaven truly gained an angel RIP Christina
