Love this! Always great info that y'all give! How long did it take you by golf cart to get to Lake Sumter Landing, Brownwood, etc., from your home? We have our first lifestyle visit coming up in mid-May and so far, we love the homes in Dabney, just not sure it's truly drivable via golf cart to all the squares. We'd love to mostly use the golf cart to get around when we move there. How close to Dabney will Eastport be, do you know? We will try to get more info and a feel for everything when we get there, of course. Thanks for all the info!!!

Happy Easter! I will try the golf cart when I am there for my lifestyle visit but I'm not convinced I would get one. Not going to be easy or convenient with my Mom. It will probably be non stop complaining. LOL. Don't tell her I said that.

Hello Michael and Tiffany. Glad you're enjoying your golf car. I rented a golf car the last time I was in The Villages and drove from Brownwood to Spanish Springs. For me, it was too far by golf car, took too long and I don't think I would do that again. Than being said, it was an adventure and I would recommend trying it at least once. I like the electric model but it's more expensive so I'm not sure if I would buy gas or electric. Have fun whatever you decide. And congratulations on winning a free week. What a great way to try it out. Enjoy.

Great video and you two look so happy. The electric golf car sounds so much quieter than a gas. I’d be curious about how far you can go before charging. That would make me nervous. Also, are their places to charge when out and about?

We use a golf car to go all the way up north to Lopez and all the way south to Denham or The new area by the school and not very many places to charge. It's gas all the way for us. We go 350-450 in 7 days on it and never have to fill up. The golf car life is the best way. Can't wait until we can be there for a visit again in June! Hope to see you! Happy Easter 🐰!

We have electric golf cart we bought it at Atomic cool karts. It has 75 mile range. It has AC/ heat actually it looks like a small car. With AC on 60 mile range.

Another great video! Still curious to see how you're holding up as relatively young Villagers, as it just seems like there are many people that are just older. But the number of things to do there during the day are just so hard to find anywhere else. My wife and I (also early 50s) are heading down next week on a lifestyle visit, so I guess we will find out soon enough! If we see you you can count on us walking up to say hello, so apologize in advance!!!

We are renting a gas Yamaha and the fumes come in our patio villa lanai. Plus the fumes when you stop and go is just too much. Electric is the way to go. Less parts to maintain.

Hi guys. We moved to Cason Hammock 2 years ago and have had a Star Sirius since we moved in. We absolutely love it. No problem at all with range. No problem getting 75 to 80 miles on a single charge.

We have 2 lithium battery golf carts… no problem going to SP and back down south! Even golfing up there too. We have both EZGo and Atomic carts. Love both but prefer the EZ go when golfing. No doors to keep opening and shutting. But Atomic carts are great when cooler weather and rainy days. Have fun!

Ok Michael and Tiffany, I'm counting on you to drive that golf cart from north to south. Since we bought just north of 466, I'd love to know if an electric can go from there to Eastport area and back. During our lifestyle visit, we took the gas cart from Mickey Lee Pitch and Putt to First Responders and back to the lifestyle villa in Atwood Bungalows. We drove the cart nearly all week, all over, on one tank of gas. It wasn't full when they gave it to us, and 2nd to the last day, it got to 1/4 tank so they picked it up and filled up the tank for us.

We recommend the EV Golf Cars smooth, fast , quite & ours will go 90 -100 miles on a charge, The also charge quickly !

One way to identify a row of Veranda Homes is to notice the street. Designer homes have a concrete curb with water runoff drains built into the curbs. For all others (including Verandas) the street drains are in the center of the road. If the Veranda Homes are considered "Designer Homes with a fence for pets/privacy" then it is surprising Verandas don't have concrete curbs?

Simple enough. What kind of battery does the electric golf cart have? I have a lithium battery and my golf cart will get me about 60 miles per charge. Getting to SS and back should be a piece of cake...unless you go by way of Ocala A golf cart with the typical electric battery will probably not make the round trip.

Hope you’ll a segment on where you are with selling the RV and the Casita coach house lot and the other lot. If the RV is sold, we’d like to hear about your selling experience. We still have our Tiffin Class A and, although we are not ready to sell yet, things could change depending on a variety of factors. We stayed with you because we are interested in the villages, too. Also, my sister and hubby are planning on purchasing down there later this year. Look forward to your videos.

Most of the homes in the Villages clearly have been designed for a married couple, with lots of stuff, and with children and grandchildren expected to visit. There do not appear to be any homes for a single person (that just wants to play golf), with not a lot of stuff, and no children or grandchildren.

There are currently numerous 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom homes for sale on The Villages site, in the low to mid $200k range, and even more on MLS sites (Zillow, Trulia, etc.).
