This was Noel's Very 1st visit to WDW as we celebrated his 4th birthday and this was his 1st Disney ride in 2011. The vid is short because the camcorder we had at that time didn't do well in lowlight.
Snow White is Dawn's Favorite Princess so she wanted this ride to be the first and obviously Noel didn't know what to expect. So it's a dark ride that features a wicked witch and terror laughter in a dark setting...so at the end of the ride, we ask how he liked it, and he said, with a little worried look,..."Are there any FRIENDLY rides here?"
We were surprised by the question but then realized the actual name of the ride...SCARY ADVENTURES!!! LOLOLOL
Poor kid, bad parental choice to be a first ride!!! LOLOL

About the Ride!!!
Original Version: 1971-1994
Snow White's Scary Adventures was an original opening day attraction. When ticket books were used, it required a C coupon. Similar to the original Disneyland version of the ride, Snow White did not appear in the attraction.
The original ride vehicles had two rows that could seat 4 people and each car was named after one of the Seven Dwarfs. The loading area showed the cottage belonging to the Dwarfs and the ride began in the castle courtyard, where Snow White could be heard singing "I'm Wishing". As the cars entered the castle, the Queen could been seen parting the curtains in a window and looking down at the riders. Once in the castle, the riders would briefly see themselves in a mirror while watching the Queen say "Mirror, mirror on the wall". As she turned around, the Witch appeared and said "I am the fairest one of all!"
Snow White's Scary Adventures: Second Version (1994-2012)
In 1994, the ride was completely remodeled with different scenes. At first the word "Scary" was removed from the title of the new ride but was added back in because young children were still frightened by the Witch. The Dwarf figures that were previously used in the stair scene of the original ride were reused, with two appearing in the mine while the rest were used in the climatic scene with the Witch. This was not the only case of recycling in the attraction. In the scene inside the cottage of the Dwarfs, the Dwarf figures performing "The Silly Song" were similar to the designs used in the Mickey Mouse Revue!
The ride vehicles were enlarged and a third row was added to each car. The biggest change is that the attraction actually featured Snow White in the ride and there was now a happy ending with Snow White being woken up by the Prince. The Snow White attraction at Walt Disney World closed on May 31, 2012 and was replaced by the Princess Fairy Tale Hall. The two vultures and five of the dwarf figures were later reused in the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction.
