The video starts with meteorologist, Daddy Cornstar, coming in live for the local weather and crop report. Once he gets to the main farm, it is time to unhook the chemical tanks from the Freightliner semi. Unhooking the chemical trailer can be a bit of a task sometimes. Once the Freightliner was unhooked, it was time to bring the older Brent 674 grain cart into the big machine shed. The older cart was being pulled by the 2745 Massey Ferguson.
Once the cart was unhooked, the dryer was pulled out of its summer vacation spot and drug up to the main yard. Once there, Cooper and I got busy tearing the grain pits apart to clean the rotten corn out of them. It was quite the messy, smelly process.
The next day consisted of several meeting with people that were not filmed. Later on in the evening, our combine mechanic showed up to pick up the Model T. He has been asking about buying the Model T for years, so we finally sold it to him. It took no time to get it loaded. Once we got it loaded, Cooper and I grabbed the 2005 Bobcat T-190 and started moving augers.
The next day we started working on the grain pits and putting the dryer and its respective augers into place. We have to wait for an electrician to show up to finish working on the dryer, but it is very close to being up and running.
After the dryer shenanigans, Brandon from Champion Seed showed up to do some moisture tests in the Champion field. Dad came along with us and we were pleasantly surprised at how the corn looked. Although, the corn has a lot of drying down to do. We also did a moisture test on our first planted field, and although it is close, it still has some time to go.
Thank you for watching. Remember, Jesus loves you!
